Nice to give a veteran like Curt my business.Traveling through Wyoming I had brake issues and Curt and Toby were very knowledgeable and helpful during a stressful time. They were able to accommodate my schedule so I didnt lose out on much time here to enjoy some time off. Curt was more than fair on the rates and they expedited the service! Highly recommended !!!

Diagnostics — traveling through pulling 18’ trailer with our 106k mile Chevy Tahoe when we began to hear a mild clicking under the hood. Took it in and was told we needed an entire engine and they happened to have one that would work. Sounded a little fishy so we had our vehicle transported to our mechanic back home for $800 and was told the same thing. We actually did a lesser job but a complete engine would have been a good call, too. Wanted to be sure to post a positive review as we were given a good diagnosis.

Curt is amazing! Our SUV was running rough and AC went out. Curt was able to get our truck in and get it diagnosed right away. He went above and beyond to get us squared away and get things fixed. Very reasonable priced. Would recommend to everyone!

We were road tripping when our check engine light came on. We called Advanced Auto near closing time and they suggested we come in first thing the next morning. They were able to determine we had nothing to worry about and sent us on our way. We appreciate their honesty and didnt even charge us for this service, which is beyond what we expected.

This is going to be a long post but bear with me. While on a road trip from Omaha NE, we lost AC and or vehicle started making weird noises. It was late Im the evening but Cody was the next biggest town asking our way. We called them and spoke with Curt who told us to bring it in, in the morning. We bright in the vehicle the next day ahead Curt figured or the problem immediately. None of the parts stores had the Harrys we needed, but Curt kept at it and kept us informed. He ended up having to have the parts stores in. They didnt get in until late on Friday evening. Curt and his crew came in on Saturday and got our truck fixed. The charges were affordable and there were no surprise charges or fees. Curt s kind and helpful the entire way and kept us in the loop all the way through. I cannot thank Curt and his crew enough for everything they did for us to get us back on the road. I would definitely suggest anyone with car problems to pay thema visit.

Took my 4wd van in for a few repairs on various things. Asked him to check it over. He found an issue with the suspension I’ve been trying to get fixed for years. Took it to multiple places over the years and specifically asked them to fix it. No luck. He found it without me even asking and fixed it. He gets all my business now.

Was quoted 8 hrs for a simple Tranny swap old out/new in and got nothing but whining out of him. Got charged for 16.4 hrs job got done but asked him to do a few extras and only one out of five got done. I dont recommend this place at all ! There are far better places in Cody to take your truck to. His hand did all the work anyways Thanks Toby well done on your end . I was not happy at all with the owner of this place very forget full and full of excuses of why job took so long. My truck is a 1998 ford ranger that Ive keep very well maintained over the years of owning it. Took it to Ford garage and they told me they have never seen one this old that was this nice and extended my factory warranty for 25,000 more miles. They fixed all I asked them to. With no whinning and was way cheaper also. Very happy with ford motor company .

Im not used to having mechanics that let you see their process. Curt and his right hand man(Im ashamed I didnt get his name) were fantastic. We took my vehicle for a ride, they narrowed down what it could be, went back to the shop and overlooked a few things, then tested them, and made a diagnoses. He said one of my motor mounts was gone and another was fine, but was on its way out. Im kicking myself for not getting him to do both. It didnt take long for the other motor mount to go, climbing all those mountains through the Rockies.

We noticed some Transmission issues on our 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan on our way from Florida to Yellowstone. Curt at Advanced made room to take care of us so we could get safely on our way. We were very pleased with the service, the pricing, and the willingness to help us out. Very grateful to Curt at Advance. As a business owner, I appreciated his willingness to make room and time for us. Were we local, he would be our mechanic!

We are on an epic cross country RV road trip with our kids and the A/C stopped working. We called auto repair shops all over WY into SD, and most told us they couldn’t get us in for days. We pulled into Cody and Curt, the owner, could not have been more generous. He and Toby quickly fixed the problem. We were so relieved. The price was fair and overall they treated our weary family with kindness. Thanks for making our trip more easeful!

On our way to Yellowstone, we had to pass steep hills and slopes through the big horn national park. When we arrived in Cody, WY, we heard noise from the front brakes. It was 3pm on Friday. I contacted Advanced Auto repair and they were very nice to adjust their schedule and worked on our vehicle. The service was great and the charge was very reasonable. We were able to finish our trip as planned. Thank you for your service!

So Curt at Advanced Auto Repair has a ton of used cars for an auto repair place its pretty awesome that he has used cars for sale and that he does partial financing. Toby has been around for a long time working on cars in the shop he gets things done the right way. I can always just stop by and ask him to look at something on my car and he never says no. Dave hasnt been around as long but seems to be working hard and getting things done.

I really wanted to give Curt and his crew a 5 star rating, as he pushed us to the front of the line to get us back on the road. But the problems that came after the repairs I received, prevents me from being able to do so.We were traveling to Washington State and doing some sightseeing along the way. Our truck suddenly broke down the evening that we arrived in Cody Wyoming. We luckily had a friend in town that towed us to Curts place and convinced Curt to work us in, as soon as possible. Long story short we ended up spending several days in Cody waiting on a fuel pump assembly and due to Curts crew having a couple set backs on the repairs, we had to spend an extra night.Well, once we got the truck back on the road, and entirely to far to turn back, the the engine light and the fuel cap light came on and that lead to a whole series of unplanned stops, additional parts, and poor fuel mileage. Needless to say it was very unsettling being a thousand miles away from home and spending even more of our trip money on parts and repairs on a problem that we thought was already fixed. It wasnt until we got back home that we were able to get the truck into my sons repair shop and remove the fuel tank. We found the problem almost imeadiatly. As we were checking for a Evaporator system leak, indicated by the computer code, we found that one of the fuel vapor lines pulled off because the lock mechanism was not engaged properly. We snapped it on to see if it could have pulled off accidentally on its own during the trip home. Yeah, there was no way it was coming of without releasing the clip manually. That issue didnt cause the problem, but if it had fallen off because it wasnt clipped on properly, it would have caused a fault code. Next we found that the evaporator tank was not clipped back to the fuel tank properly and was flopping all over the place. We ended up finding out that they had broken the evaporator line fitting off of the evaporator tank and just snapped the line onto the evaporator lock ring. The broken piece was still stuck in the line with no possible way of sealing, hence the loose fuel cap light and check engine light.I contacted Curt and I politely informed him of the issue and he politely excused himself from any liability. My guess is if I was a local resident he would have taken care of the damages that resulted from the careless mistakes that caused me so much grief.I ran our family owned repair business for over two decades in my home state of Kansas, which is now owned and operated by my son, (third generation owner) and in its 50th year of business. I could probably count on one hand the disgruntled customers weve had. No matter what we always stood behind our work and corrected any problems that resulted from our mistakes. I only hope this review will benefit Curt so that he can express to his employees the importance of doing careful and meticulous work, as what they do reflects back on his business name and on his reputation as a business owner.

These guys can not diagnose a low tire. went there for a check engine light, all they did was throw parts in my vehicle until they found the one that made a difference. the bad part is that i am a automotive tech and was visiting yellowstone, told the owner curt what i knew was wrong but he flat out said it could not be that, which it was after spending over $500 and 2 days of our vacation in his shop. almost forgot that he said he would do some welding for me on the second day, he spent to much time with personal things and had the guts to ask me to come back another day, need less to say i found someone else to do my welding. very bad experience, would not recommend this facility at all.
