Audrey, the salesperson, was absolutely awesome in assisting my wife and I with the selection of our new phone, with accessories wed need and, the following week, setting up our phones for use. Terrible customer service. I set up an appointment online, as you cant call and actually talk with anyone at the store, for my legally blind mother to upgrade AND set up her new phone. I explained she cannot see,will be needing her new phone set up and old phone contents transferred. She was first asked if she had a card to pay after getting out of a taxi. I had already instructed them to bill my account when setting up the appointment online. Then told she will have to transfer her old phone data herself despite that she cannot see!I live in FL she lives in CA, guess its too difficult for a store associate to do this for her. Ill take my 18 years of business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing Verizon of Clovis!Update 3/16/2021ZERO contact from the leadership at Verizon. They obviously dont value me and my family as customers. My wife chatted with 4 separate Verizon reps on Facebook today regarding how her mother was poorly treated. Their advice: book an appointment at a different store. Because its so easy and inexpensive for a blind person to do so and why wasnt she taken care of in the first place? Im on my last straw with you Verizon, its utterly ridiculous to be Americas best communication service who cant properly communicate with its staff and customers. Call me and resolve this you should have my number, but maybe thats asking too much.

I live out of state and my mom lives here. I picked up her new phone at home and attempted to transfer it on my own. It would not work. Had to make an appointment for assistance. The young man met me at the door and informed me I had to wait outside. In the sun with no shade due to restrictions. I waited 15 mins before he came out and decided that I could be assisted. Told him the issues. He did get the phone on, but did nothing to assist with transfering her contacts and apps. I asked about getting a phone case, he didnt even look at his tablet, just told me no. I asked about getting the screen protector put on, just said no. Rushed me out of the building and didnt care that I was not done. The last time I went to that store I had a very helpful young man who took the time to help me with everything. Obviously verizon doesnt believe in customer service in clovis california anymore

So the associate cannot look up the specs of the phone tells you to do it yourself. does not know the specs of any of their product. Does not have any of their product in stock. And is unwilling to find it at one of the sister locations. So pretty much I could have just gone online found out everything the whole point of going in is to speak to an associate who knows what theyre doing this place does not have that

This location was the only one that did appointment only. Staff was very nice, but the fact that you werent able to set up plans or get switched over was a bummer. They wanted you to do everything yourself and mistakes will happen. Dont recommend this specific location unless you get an appointment.

First person greeted us and really didnt have a clue about how to help us (wifes phone died). Asked if my wife was an authorized user on her mothers account. She wasnt sure and said so. Person then said she couldnt help us until that was verified and she couldnt do it. About 20 minute delay - phone calls back and forth. Finally, second person comes out and tells us wife IS authorized and that first person couldve verified that. Other than that, good experience.

The gentleman that helped us with awesome it was just that we wanted to do everything at 1 time at the store and he was unable to do that we wanted to cancel some devices and we have to call in to Verizon. It would be nice to be able to walk into the store location and have a one stop shopping. So now we call and we been on the phone for 30 minutes and we still havent had any help still on hold.

Historically, this has not been the greatest experience for me, but theyre doing something new over here. I was in and out in less than an hour, with both of our phones upgrades. The staff was super helpful and expedient. I highly recommend using this location.

The worst customer service. Store has no personality a gives zeros as concerns so if it could they would receive zeros on review. No where close to home so decided to stop into store for a simple issue and got lackluster at best response and was told that I should probably take my service back to AT&T. Great suggestion I has been done. Might want to look for a store with personality or a at least a pulse if your looking for service

Notice I never do reviews because I never get poor customer service, or at least not bad enough to write a review, but today I was speaking with Jose, who was very friendly, trying to replace my device because of a manufacturer defect. Jose was going to help me, then the manager who I don’t remember her name, told Jose and I that I could not get a clnr because there was no usage on my device, which was a lie, and because I had a iPhone 6 Plus and it was a older iPhone. I tried to argue because I work for Verizon as support, I have insurance so I can get a clnr, if I meet the eligibility, which I did. I had TMP, so instead of just doing the transaction there, I had to drive 20 minutes to another Verizon Corp. store in Fresno where my guy, Thomas had no problem setting up my CLNR order for next day shipping within 10 minutes. The manager was wrong, and she knew she was suppose to take my defective device, I don’t care if it was an iPod shuffle and set me up with a refurbished one, I work as a customer care for Verizon and I always hear that the managers at the stores are always giving false information to new/existing customers, or bait and switch. I didn’t believe it until today. That manager is one of the reasons Verizon gets a bad rep. If you don’t want to do your job and serve customers which is your job, then quit

Friendly service. Parking is a bit silly since you need to turn out onto the street from the rest of the mall to get to the small strip the store is in, or park in half hour parking (might not be enough time for cell phone shenanigans). Be careful of parking limitations!

My wife and I had a horrible experience here theres three people that was working in there they told me that they only allow one person at a time to come in and my wife and I need to create an account with Verizon together but they wouldnt let us in together, they say that they are maintain covid-19 policy by only allowing one person in at a time when those guys are right smack dab next to each other not maintain the 6-ft distance, my wife and I were furious so we left, we will not come here ever again PERIOD!

Ive been a Verizon customer for about a year and a half and Ive loved the service. Ive never had any issues billing wise nor have I ever needed tech assistance. I have been genuinely happy. That changed on 9/29/19, when I had my mother go into this corporate store in Clovis. I called before hand and spoke with a young man named Mike. I informed him that I live in Oklahoma and that my mother would be coming in to port in her number from Boost. I let him know she had an LG Tribute and was looking to get a Samsung Galaxy S10 64GB device. He was eager to help and to make me feel at ease, he asked me for my number and said he would text back and forth with me, and he did, up to a point. Even though I texted him a few more times wanting to know about the transaction, etc., he never texted me back. I came to find on my bill that he sold her the 128GB phone which is more expensive and my mother doesnt need. He also sold her a bundle of accessories we didnt ask for and added Verizon Cloud for $5 a month! Now I know why he didnt respond and when I reached out to him today to ask him about the phone in particular, he didnt respond. Im angry, disappointed, and upset for my mom who is so excited about her new phone that shell have to return along with everything else. Ive done troubleshooting and customer care for both Verizon and Sprint and it takes me back to all the customers that I took complaints from about store reps just like Mike, who do and say things to make a sale while screwing over a faithful customer and new customer coming on board. Having done this work previously, I know how important surveys are and offered an outstanding review! Im thoroughly disgusted at this point! Sadly, hes gotten the commission and a good survey he did NOT deserve and Verizon will be losing customers. My mother will be returning the phone along with everything else and well be switching to another carrier. Mike, if you get to read this, Im very disappointed in your actions and I hope you never do this to anyone else!

If I can put 0 starts I would. I ordered a device for my brother in law and had him go pick it up in store. He brought it home without it being activated. The lady at the store didn’t say anything to him. Just gave him the phone and that’s all. If she doesn’t want to work in sales she shouldn’t be there. Just because it was an online order and she doesn’t get commission on it doesn’t mean you should help your customer ! Very disappointed. Happened today 1-10-2020 between 6-6:20

We visited this Verizon store multiple times last week because we were having issues with our jetpack. After many hours chatting with customer support they recommended we buy a new jetpack to see if the issue was with the network or with the hardware. We went to the store and Leslie helped us. We explained our issues and when she looked at her account and saw we were on a prepaid plan and werent going to sign up for new service she shut down to us. She would listen to about 10% of what we said and answer part of our questions in a very condescending manner. We proceeded to buy the jetpack and go home and try it. Unfortunately, the jetpack we bought had a defective battery and we had to return it. We went back to the store and we were lucky enough to work with Leslie again... We were treated the same way and again, we would explain our entire issue and she would respond in ways that showed she didnt listen to our concerns at all. I waited a few days to write a review because I dont like to post emotionally charged reviews, but the way she treated us was very unsettling. On a positive note, we did work with Mike at the store and he was very patient and helpful.

Red Checkmark, I assume thats her name because thats all that was on her nametag, insisted we call 611 and get a tech coach to help. Apparently if your not here to buy a new phone no one wants to talk to you. Hey Verizon, save some money and just put in cell phone vending machines. Bad customer service. The sales rep promised to waive activation charges. She will talk to store manager to get it off bc she dont have access to do so. We texted back and forth bc her manager is on vacation. Got a text back a week later that her manager will not honor the waive. Had to call the manager for discussion and still she will only waive 1 line. Had to call customer service and send them proof from the text messages that I was promised that from the sales rep. Got customer service to waive. Location manager is unprofessional. Verizon needs to watch who they hire as managers. This will mess up their reputations.

I switched to Verizon and bought all the accessories about 5 months ago. Ear phones and case broke, not a big deal it happens. Went in to talk to this company where I got it and the tune changed. They overcharged me by charging my credit card 10 times the amount they were supposed to and they cannot return the credit to my card. I had to dispute the charge with my bank and that has caused a whole pain in the rear end in dealing with them. I was very disappointed with this transaction although my wife did get her new iPhone Xs Max.

Went in to get help setting up a new iPhone as when I tried to do it myself it downloaded and synched with my sons phone. The man who ended up helping me looked like hed rather quit than help me. After taking about 13 seconds to listen to my issue he grabbed one of the paper inserts in my box and wrote the name of an app for me to download so I could do it myself. I explained some of my problems and he did a couple things to my phone, sighed frustratingly as he downloaded the app onto one of my phones and then sent me on my way. Youd think after buying a $700-800 phone from the company that signs his check that he would be willing to help me out. There was hardly anyone in the store and only one other waiting. Needless to say I wont go back to this location. P.S my phones are still messed up and I get my sons phone calls on my phone and laptop...thanx Verizon man!

Getting less and less impressed w Verizon every day... Cell service is not what we expected, spending a fortune, and in-store service is not what it should be. Some of their people dont know anything about products, and when I go in seeking tech support, (like for smartwatch pairing or phone tech problems) their solution is always to look up how much longer I have on my contact and tell me how much my buy-out is so that they can sell me a new phone... Not happy... But at this point NO carrier seems really concerned w their quality of service...

Very disorganized in prioritizing people coming into the store. You show up and look for help. The sales people say, Oh, we need to check you in, look for Matt and cannot find him so you are in limbo. Its no doubt an idea of personal attention but its just stupid. Its a phone for gods sake. Give me a number and have the number thing on the wall. After that its OK. The Sales people are young and dont know how to sell but for the most part...its a phone.
