We used to love this auto shop. However, in the last few months, theyve gone down hill. Weve had multiple vehicles that end up not being fixed correctly, my sons car has been there for a month and they havent even looked at it, and we just had them put new tires on our van and they didnt even out the spare back in its place under the van! I wont be taking any more vehicles here.

David, George, Chad and all the guys at Family Tire will tell you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle, whether it is of benefit to them or not. They do business the right way, and they treat their customers like family. Recently, the dealership in town wanted $1,500 more for the SAME exact repairs on my truck than Family Tire charged me for those repairs plus new tires! Id refer anyone I met here.

They were amazing fixed a wheel bearing rotars and brakes on our car and it is now in perfect working order now and they are very friendly and kept to getting the car done in a good fashion time

I took my truck there today for an alignment because it had been stolen and wrecked and I replaced tires and some things broken in the front end when it was stolen for few days. In give them 5 stars not because of my alignment. Because I didnt get an alignment done today.. It was to messed up in the front end to align and the were straight up about it and didnt take my money for something that wouldnt of worked.. I am glad to know there is some genuine people left in this world that are not our just to take what they can get from others.. Thank you Family Tire & Auto

I took my car in to replace the motor mount on my car.They replaced it the hick way.Instead loosening the bolts on the subframe and lifting the engine cradle a few inches they cut my exhaust off.Then they gave to the muffler shop next door to fix it but the muffler shop welded a small pipe on.Very unprofessional,but they got the job done.They didnt even tell me about exhaust until I went under the car a few days later.I always work on my own car this was the first time I ever used a shop to work on my car ever. big mistake.I would never go back again.

Very good place to get your tires

I went here to get my hood latch fixed and get my Freon charged they and did a great job. They charged me reasonable rates and were friendly. But they said I needed a new ac compressor. When I had them fix the ac compressor they took their liberty jacking up the price because I hadn’t asked for the price ahead of time. It was my mistake not to ask ahead of time. But when I asked the man about it and tried to reason the older guy insulted me and my father, saying we didn’t know anything about business. He was very rude. I wouldn’t go there again.

Great experience this morning. I’m visiting from out of state when my family members noticed that my tires look shabby. The cost for 4 new tires, an alignment, and oil change was just under $500. The staff was friendly, and the establishment boasts a spacious waiting room with entertainment for the whole family including a TV with remote, magazines, books, and a LEGO table for kids. We were in and out in less than a couple hours. 10/10 recommend !!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! This place INTENTIONALLY caused damage to my power steering line while putting in my front hub assemblies. From what MULTIPLE other mechanics and shops have told me, the hole was intentionally punched in a place not easily accessible underneath my wiring harness. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Not only did they try to double the original agreed on price for my hub assembly when I came in to pay instead of my husband, theyve cost me ANOTHER $1000 to fix my power steering lines and pumps. They are the only ones that have worked on my car prior to this incident. Go somewhere, anywhere else.

Ive been around cars that have been serviced here since atleast 2002 and ive never heard a bad thing about them. I still continue to bring my vehicles to them for repairs and pass their info on to friends.

I have never taken mine or my husbands vehicles any where else. My parents were very loyal customers to this family and now so am I. When you walk into a place and they know you by your face and address you by first name you know its a place that really cares about their customers. They are honest, they have reasonable prices. and the customer service is out of this world. I have recommended many people to them and will continue to do so. Im a die hard Family Tire fan.

Family tire has been fixing my car for years now for reasonable prices. they dont kill you on the labor rate. I love the free popcorn and coffee and the lobby very comfortable. Ive always been treated with respect. I recommend coming here.

I used to work here. The owner repeatedly told me not to worry about loosing my job. Then he terminated me without warning. He also failed to give me seperation notice, which I doubt was an accident. When I worked for Cleveland Tire; I heard he got busted for embezzlement.

I went to family tire years ago, I was pleased then and I am pleased now. They have reasonable prices. You could say a blessing. The lobby area was clean and comfortable enough to fall asleep while you wait. Its just a wonderful place!!! Go by or call!! His name is David who you need to talk to.

I called before I came to make sure they were available to look at my car. They were very friendly on the phone and said they would take a look at my tire, so I went. The service was very friendly and kind. They explained what they were doing, gave recommendations on how to take care of my tires, and fixed my problem at minimal cost. It felt as if they were concerned for the welfare of me and my car rather than just trying to make more money. Quality service at low cost.

Ive been using this company and family ran business for many years now. The Gunters and their mechanics have always taken care of my vehicle needs and performed the work at a very reasonable cost. I have my regular oil changes done here as well as numerous other repairs on my vehicles from shocks, struts, AC work, and of course tires. I highly recommend this locally ran business in the heart of downtown Cleveland. Im sure youll get the same great service!

I was unaware that during an oil change, the maintenance person here at Family Tire changed my speedometer reading from mph to kpm. After leaving, I realized my speedometer was reading incorrectly, so I returned to the shop. I was met with horrible customer service. They did not offer to look at what they did to my car nor offer any possible solutions. They told me I would have to have it repaired. As it turns out, it was as simple as pushing the button to change it from kph to mph. It took me only a couple of minutes to find it in the maintenance manual. Not only was the service horrible the lack of knowledge was/is disconcerting for an auto service shop, unless the point was to try and charge me extra for repairs. Regardless of whether your intent was to charge me for an unneeded service or a lack of mechanical skill, the horrible customer service lost my business. There are plenty of auto shops in Cleveland happy to accept my hard earned money for quality service. You gentlemen lost a loyal customer and I recommend other customers beware.

I used to go to Family Tire for all my oil change and tire rotation needs. I also bought tires there, once. Someone had warned me that Family Tire was dishonest but I was always met with friendly people so I continued doing business there. I recommended them to a friend one day and she took her vehicle there. They gave her quotes for several items that needed fixed including one that was over $600. She took it to another place for a second opinion and that expensive item was not in need of replacement. Because Im somebody that doesnt like change, I still returned for my next oil change/tire rotation but they were too busy to take me so I went elsewhere. The mechanic at the next place told me that whoever had been rotating my tires, had been doing so in a way that was causing them to wear faster. I never went back to Family Tire for any work and I have spread the word that they truly cant be trusted. Beware!

I just wont go anywhere else. Ive been here a few times already after a trusted friend referred me and I couldnt be happier. My father was a mechanic so Im familiar with diagnosing and pricing and have never felt I was being taken advantage of. I also overheard mechanics talking to customers and I have seen people being told it wasnt anything but a minor issue and not being charged. I get that you cant make everyone happy but i dont get the negative reviews. These guys do a great job and the prices are very fair. I would recommend these guys to everyone.

I visited yesterday for the first time. Loved the greeting I received. They side my car needed another alignment and showed me this even though I just had one three weeks ago in Maryland. As you would drive my car and let off the gas it would actually swerve very hard to the left. Well anywho we did the alignment a total if $57.02 thats with a discount by the way and needless to say my car is still in the same shape today as it was yesterday. But they made it clear if it continued doing it I could bring it back today. So I dont hold it against them at all and I will continue doing busy there and referring people. Thanks guys

Terrible Night mare !!!! They destroyed my tires, and they never fixed the original problem! In a different car I had to get a blow motor changed. And two days later, my AC went from perfect to non working. They look like honest people, but they arent. This review is purely the truth.0.0 score.

The service is horrible and the stuff not courteous. When I read the customers reviews about this place I was so excited . But After I went there I regret and wont recommend any of my acquaintances to go there ever. I went there a Thursday to get a quote for tune up and a guy told me $350 and I asked him how my they do oil change and he said $35. Then I took my car there Friday morning asked them to also check my AC even if nothing wrong with it. I was expecting to pay around $450 for the total.When I came to get the car they gave me a bill of $615.00. I was so down and disappointed .Then I turned the car on, the engine check light is on, but it was never on before . Plus they did not even bother to do the oil change,.... I have to wait till Monday to go there and get the engine light off and the oil change done bit the oil still dirty. Briefly they dont care much about customers but money. I think all the good things said about their service had been done by their families and friends to attire clientele. Thats the worst experience I ever had.
