Do Not Support This Business!!! The owner, Erika Shanoff, is dangerously mentally unstable. She is currently in jail for domestic abuse against her 78 year old father and is well known in the local community for being violent towards her customers, children and the elderly.

I love shopping at this store. Erica is very knowledgeable about her merchandise. She knows the fit and what pieces work together. Last year, I purchased 3 outfits that I enjoy wearing. As I live up north, I was anxious to return this year.Today, as I tried on dresses, Erica retrieved pieces that accented them. She gave the same excellent service as last year. There are so many outfits that I liked, I had a difficult time deciding on today’s purchase. I’ll be revisiting before heading north in the spring.I am a plus size lady and like well fitting, unique and comfortable clothes. It is difficult finding a shop that fulfills these requirements. I feel that prices are very reasonable for the quality, too. The Floridian Market Place is the shop for me!

Extremely rude “person” very mean with customers and her own father. I Reported her back 3 years ago for her other business Erikas tea room (next door) as I witnessed her been extremely nasty to a mom that was trying to use her services with her children and she shoved them off, shouting and using profanities. The mom and 2 kids were in tearssss in the middle of the sidewalk. Completely disgusted.

The ladies who own this place are the same who own Erikas Tea Room, and NEITHER PLACE IS KID FRIENDLY! They are extremely rude and will disrespectfully approach your kids warning them to keep hands off anything. They shouldve been out of business a long time ago. Aside from this, their merch is tacky and overpriced at best!

Don’t waste your time, unless you want to be insulted by the owner and staff. She is the same owner as the tea shop. Look at all the reviews about bad customer service. We had a party of 5 that went in to get a shirt and owner complained that we had bottled water with us. No one was drinking and all kids were closed! really? it’s a Florida and it’s hot!

My mom, daughter and I went in today while we were at the craft show downtown. My daughter and I were in the back of the store looking at purses. While my mother was towards the front of the store, she overheard an employee tell a coworker to “go watch the lady with the stroller and the little girl in the back of the store” (myself and daughter). While that was happening, another employee told my daughter to not touch anything. My daughter is very well behaved (she’s 4) and loves purses so we were looking together. I was so annoyed that they felt the need to “watch” us and told my daughter not to touch. The store has merchandise everywhere - high and low. It would be next to impossible to not touch anything in the store. They lost two customers today.

The two blonde women working at the shop are incredibly rude. My daughter is 4 and autistic and was walking around the store looking at things. She has never broke anything in a store in her life. They women told me she wasnt allowed to walk around and I had to hold her. I see from other reviews this is common in this store. These women must hate children which is unfortunate since the sign says baby boutique. Also, they told me there were no childrens items there. Then why does it say baby boutique on the sign?? Save your money and go somewhere with better costumer service.

I LOVE this store. It has the perfect mix of clothing that can be dressed up for work meetings or dressed down for a more casual feel. The jewelry is cute and I could buy a new piece every time I go in. They always have a new decor item that I want for my home or just calls out to be bought for a friend. The women who work there are so fun and friendly that I find myself cracking jokes and laughing throughout the store. I stop in every time I am downtown.

Shame on their lack of customer service. First visit today. Was excited to support a local business. Had some items I was going to try on until I heard one employee, which I think was the owner or manager tell another employee to go watch the lady and her little girl in the back! That was my family she was talking about. Went and got them and left. I will make sure I let everyone know their lack of trust with their neighbors.

Erika the owner is VERY rude!! Awful customer service, I didn’t feel welcomed at all. 100% will NOT go back. So sad to see people be rude just from you walking in the door.
