Your sales table is misleading to customers. Why put regular prices items on a table with a 50% sale sign and not honor your sign? Just to be aesthetically pleasing is not justifiable.

Purchased an anniversary gift for my wife. Amazingly enough Pennys is having their best sale of the year. Aha...sales girl was congenial and good enough. Ring is spectacular.

I have been to this store in the past and was sort of skeptical.But this time it looked different. I was looking for shoes. As I looked around I met this nice lady named Delia. She was around working her magic organizing the department. She even helped me pick out a nice pair. Thanks, Delia.

I was successful at finding a much needed pair of tennis shoes. I was looking for a different brand but Im happy with what I found. Now Ill be able to wear these until I find another pair. The store is short on help and just glad I found something that fits and is comfortable.

I came to jcpenny cause I admire the style of their clothes. Although I was disappointed by the staff, specifically cashiers. The older ladies have no respect toward their customers. Stopping conversation with me to whisper into another’s ear and giggle. As if their customers weren’t valued. I left my items with the cashier after the rude remark she made about my appearance. Thanks to those cashiers, jcpenny just lost another customer.

Pretty decent selection for this close to Christmas, check out line long. Only two registers open for the first fifteen minutes of waiting. Good sale prices. All in all for last minute gifts, not too bad.

I am not sure about JCPenney in this review but Susy was a rockstar. It was set to be a pretty bad experience. As I was waiting in-line I found my online order cancelled. I was about to walk out of the store empty handed.Im not sure if shes a manager but she sure should be. Perhaps even higher (would probably do the company a world of good to have someone of her caliber in the higher ranks). She was doing her job and happened to be passing by at that moment and took a quick look at that order. She knew the store did have the items in stock and swiftly took me to them. All the while continuing to do her job via radio (I think she even corrected a fallen sign or two along the way).The world needs more similar people. +1 JCPenney

The store employees were not helpful. Except the two that we had interactions with when we walked in. We bought things and had to return the items unfortunately. The person who returned did not know what they were doing and we had to wait for 30 plus minutes because they kept doing something wrong and had to restart over and over the return process

Its JCP Penny basically preppie heaven.

Not a bad store per se. The front of the store, clothing and shoes, is decent. The back of the store though looks like youre shopping in a warehouse. The luggage area is just a big open space. Also no electronics section. But on the plus side, the clothing section for Final Take Clearance is huge!! So thats a definite plus haha.

JCPenney has great prices and theyre clearance racks, and they also have Sephora a great makeup and beauty store inside of their store so that makes it more appealing.

Nice and clean on the inside. All your favorite things to do with the social distancing in place. Customer service is far from par. Walked through the whole store. Not one person said anything. If you love love your job it shows. If you really dont it shows.

Pleasant shopping even for black Friday shopping. The extended blk friday hours made it better for social distancing & absolutely no fighting among shoppers this year! Good sales for everyone & enough to go around! Merry Christmas!

Jc penny is at it all time bottom in Clermont Florida. The idles are pull apart on a Wednesday (not like its a weekend sale)and a total of about 20 customers in the store...meaning there should be no reason why dirt, trash and clothes from every department were scattered all over the floor. I will never go back to Jc penny in my lifetime.By far...Kohls is x100 better.Dont waste your time in Clermonts Jc Penny. Its a disgrace.

Tried the “curb side” pick-up yesterday and the service was terrible. Waited at least 20 minutes for them to bring my order which I had to go inside to pick up, and about $100 worth of items were missing! I had plans directly after I made the pickup and because it took so long I had to rush off to avoid being late so I just took the bags and put them in the car. I never imagined stuff would be missing so I didn’t think to check before I left the store. My order was very large, over $500 worth of clothes and shoes so checking every item before I left the store would have taken me quite some time. I didn’t go through everything until the next morning and that’s when I discovered that things were missing. Now I can’t get the store on the phone. I’ve called and called and no one picks up except the people in the salon and they cannot help me. I’m on vacation so this store is no where near my home. Driving back there isn’t an option. So frustrating.

All it takes is one step into a JCPenney these days and you can feel the writing on the wall. With the company closing stores the sales associates have no reason to be engaging. Prices feel like they are competing with high end stores with clearance prices higher than most customers would pay in any big box retail location. The company has tried to reimagine itself multiple times over the years and as such these days the stores lack a personality all together.

Today I decide to go shopping and check out the JCPenneys mid morning afternoon and boy was it crazy busy with the checkout lines. They had great sales going on.

I wanted to buy a specific ring for my wife. I went to the jewelry department, and showed Terri a picture of the ring I was looking for. Not only did she find the exact ring, it was at a great price. I am extremely happy with the service I received, and never felt pressured. I would definitely return to this store. Great experience.

Nice staff until you go to the jewelry compartment. Went in with a friend to find some earrings, looking around and patiently waiting to be assisted and got a dirty look from an older lady saying “I’m with someone!” .. wow nice customer service.

I had an appointment for a haircut and blow-dry and received a great cut and styling. My stylist Leeska really listened to me. And while I have been to other places where notes were put in a computer as to how my hair was done she actually took a picture of my hair for reference which I thought was very smart. I have another appointment and look forward to another pleasant experience

I have always shopped at Dillards or Macys but I must say this location is a very high end Pennys with all the name brands you could get at higher end department stores. The Sephora inside is really nice and the InStyle Salon is impressive.

Ambrielle bras are the only ones I wear.They are cute, comfy, and last an extremely long time.

Always have plenty of sizes in stock. They have so many shoes to choose from, but I never seem to find any I like. Great to walk in and be able to get sheets, comforters, etc.

Great suit selection, reasonably priced, awesome shirts, shoes and jewelry accessories. The only issue is not a huge selection of big n tall jeans and shirts. Other than that, its a great store.

At this store 11/10 6:30 pm, not enough help in jewelry, computers wont take credit cards without an overide, bathroom isnt maintained and no help comes when called! You may want to consider another store for holiday shopping. They cant handle a small sale going on. Cant imagine two weeks from now! Im out of here!

There was not one associate working on the floor.. I shopped in womens, childrens, and ladies underwear. I really could have used help with bras. Needless to say I did not buy anything. I will go to the mall and shop the stores that still provide service.. You need to hire more help. (I was in the store for over an hour) I should have seen someone that asked if they could help me. I didnt even see someone that I could run down to get help. That is why big box stores are going under . Friendly service with a human touch would keep people in your stores spending money.

I purchased a gift online December 16, 2019 for someone for Christmas. My thoughts it should arrive in store for pick-up by December 24, 2019 which I paid $3.95 for. Item never arrived. I tried to reach out to the online pick-up December 24, 2019 the staff/ person picked up the call and placed me on hold several of times with by now never coming to the phone! Which made me drive to the store to be told my order isnt on file. Which Im showing staff on JCP app here it is! At this point while leaving the Clermont landing store I called JCP online orders. The representative located my order said it should be on the bay at the store they just havent scanned it for pick-up. Now it its Sunday December 29, 2019 I still havent received my order. And cant reorder because the item is out of stock!!!

Bought jewelry, and paid for it in that department, quick and easy, but the regular line was at least an hour long.

I was shopping next door and my husband said he was going to get a haircut at this establishment. When I was done, I went next door to JCP salon to meet him. He was checking out in line and asked how it was. Good cut, but the stylist lined his hairline leaving the hair below it untouched. When I asked about ckeaning up under the lines edge, the stylist said I cut his hair from a zero to a one up. I will not cut his hair again what!?!?! The only reason Im giving two stars is because the cashier said she will be fixing it. Idk. Really think all if this could have been avoided with basic customer service and/or just doing their job in the first place. I didnt get the stylist name but thats of no concern to me as we wont go back.

My favorite quick go to for clothes, not really for shoes smaller selection in the clearance rack. Still great customer service and sales reps on the floor.

Don’t ever buy a necklace from jcp, I had bought a 18ct gold necklace (with the extra $ protection plan) within the first month, the necklace had broke on my neck and I found it on the floor in my house later that day. So I returned to the jewelry department where they shipped my broken necklace to get fixed and in about a month I got a call to pick it up, this lasted for about 2 months and the necklace had broken again, so I went back to the jewelry department and explained that it already had broke before and how annoying this was, the lady said if it happened again that she’d do something about the issue, so eventually I got the call to pick it up again and this lasted untill right how actually, I’m actually at the pool right now and my necklace I paid $350+ is now gone. Thank god I had bought the protect plan because of how much more money I’d have to waste on a necklace that’s breaks monthly.
