It’s so embarrassing how Sephora fits the stereotype for mean girls who gate keep beauty and skincare. I HATE going in here, if I can find a product I’m looking for at Ulta I will always go there instead. Seriously, don’t put yourself in this weird energy and toxic environment! Stop giving them your money!
I always love how great the customer service is here. Its easily a place where you can get what you need or find the answers via verbal content or product after asking about whatever it is youre wondering. My only gripe is that, and this is probably with any Sephora as Ive seen it at others as well, the staff can easily get overrun by how many people are inside the store and (not to their own fault) can take a minute to receive that great service.

I had some issues with getting an online order filled and the staff on shift today went above and beyond to help me. I was extremely impressed and they literally saved my skin today. Ive reduced my regimen asich as possible but was completely out of essentials and they made sure I got my order today despite the craziness. Im extremely grateful!! It was around 3pm on 6/2/2020. Thank you all so so so much!!!
Sharon is an amazing beauty consultant!! She always recommends the best products!! Last month she introduced me to the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream! It is the only lotion that I’ve consistently used! This past visit she helped me find the travel size versions for my upcoming trip! I will definitely come back to see Sharon the next time I need a beauty product!

I usually stay away from Sephora and shop at Ulta because the employees in the past made me feel pressured and I never felt like I was really being helped. Last night I went in and Tony did an amazing job of helping me and he was very friendly. Make up is my hobby so it’s nice to go in Sephora and feel like you’re talking to your friend for advice on products, when in fact it’s an employee that you just met. I will be coming back to Sephora because of Tony, and requesting him when possible. Thanks!
The staff is amazing as always. I go there all the time. Today I stayed 1 hour straight shopping and trying products I lost my phone. The girl that worked there Demica was really nice. She helped me find it using her personal phone. Thank you Demica you r amazing ❤️❤️❤️
I had an extraordinary experience in Sephora which I have to share. I was attending an wedding on September 23rd and the same day made an appointment in the store for make up to be done for it. First off, all the employees that I talked to /at least 4 young ladies/ were very professional, polite and answered to all of my questions.They found the convenient time slot for my make up. My appointment was with Sharon, who made my day. She did an exact natural look which I was dreaming about - classy look for the 57 old woman that perfectly matched the event. Just to confirm her amazing skills - among 100 guests, more than half of them were complementing my make up. I am saying thank you to all the employees that were working that day. Special thanks to Sharon.
I came in asking for a color match and I was helped by Annette, she was so patient and assisted me so well! She made the experience so easy going :)

I have never encountered such a rude interaction with an associate like I did at this Sephora. I am absolutely appalled at what happened to me when I came to this location to try on some makeup. I picked up an item I was going to purchase, opened the package to make sure it was the right shade and tested it to make sure everything was good. An associate with blonde short hair with glasses approached me and asked if it was one of their products. I turned and said yes it is, she then asked if I was going to purchase the item and I told her yes I am. She looked at me and walked away and proceeded to the front of the store and pointed at me while telling 4 other associates to watch me so I dont put back the item and to make sure I did go to the checkout. I understand the whole damage out the products ordeal especially if its in a makeup place I work in retail myself. But for that associate to go and point me out to 4 other associates at the front of the store and have people watching me was rude and inappropriate especially while I could see them in plain sight. I had 4 associates watching me the whole time and I was super uncomfortable to shop. My friend who was with me watched the whole situation in shock, he asked what was the big problem and no one seemed to acknowledge anything they did wrong and on top of that did not apologize for any of their behavior. If you are going to work in customer service at least realize how to be respectful towards customers who are making purchases from your company and not to point out a customer while they are trying to shop. Its disrespectful and rude.I will not be returning there.

Worst time ever! I went in for my birthday with$200. I knind of knew what i wanted but i still had questions and wantes help to find the right Foundation for me. I was told by the lady up front that she wasnt allowed to leave her area and asked if i could wait 20 mins for the other girl to come back. So.i said ok yea thats fine. So 25 mi s later the other girl walks in and they started talking.. Well that went on to a walk around the store. They both look up at me as if i wasnt welcome or like god can tbis girl just go away already! So the first girl i spoke with walks up tome and said i told the other girl( who is busy with a client) ahe hurry up and finish so she can help me. (Not the girl i waited 20 mins for). Then she walks away and clocked out for lunch!!! I walked out at took my money to ULTA! I was there 2 seconds and someone help me do all my shopping and was very nice!
Sales mislabeled everywhere, I could understand a customer putting one item in an incorrect spot but when the whole shelf is filled of the same product I expect the sale to be correct. I pointed this out to the associate when the item rang up $20 more than expected, I was just told “that’s the wrong sign sorry.” I also received an email that I would receive a bag full of samples if I spent $25 or more, I spent close to $200 and did not receive a single sample let alone a bag full. No associates offered assistance as I browsed through the store, they were too busy chatting with each other about how they could not connect to the WiFi to go on the internet on their phones. It’s unfortunate that I’ll have to travel all the way to Tampa to have a pleasant shopping experience.
I wish I could give this place less then a star..they did not help me at all! go to Ulta..not this place..manager was horrible, no customer service!!...
My shopping experience was great .The associate was very helpful in finding me gifts for my wifes birthday.She was very professional and took her time with me.My wife was very happy with everything that the associate recommended.Everyone was very courteous and I would definitely shop there again.
I went to Sephora after having a bad experience at Ulta. So I was probably a difficult customer. But the employee, whose name I didnt get, was polite and recommended something that actually worked. ( I assumed Id have to return it but was wrong.)
Went in after having laser hair removal on my face, so I looked a little rough, wanted to see if they carried a product that I wasn’t able to get at Ulta where I usually shop.No one asked me for help, I got weird looks and unfriendly side glances.I tried to ask a girl and was ignored.Really made me feel like all they care about is my appearance and the fact that I wasn’t all done up at that exact moment made them feel I wasn’t worthy of their assistance.
It makes me super sad to see bad reviews on here for this store because this location is the reason I started buying high end makeup! The staff is so knowledgeable and welcoming! Cant say enough nice things about this store.
Music too loud could not hear sales person speak. Went in for 3 different Sephora products & could only get one. They had no stock. I was passed off by 3 different sales people...never again. I will shop in a drugstore before I would go back.

I am new to Sephora and I got a gift card for Christmas so I was excited to try them out. I scheduled a make over on a Saturday afternoon with Danica. It was a great experience! Danica was super friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the products. I loved my new look and my new makeup! I will definitely be returning to this Sephora.

I was in Sephora a few weeks ago and when I had walked in and was just smiled at, didn’t feel very welcoming. I left, I came back about one week ago, There is a young guy named Dustin, my experience with him the 30 minuets I was in, was AMAZING! He was very personal and I felt as if he truly wanted to help me and he cared. I have been in there multiple times and some of the other employees will try to help me, but make me feels as if it’s a chore to help me, very fake & not genuine. Very noticeable. He completely changed my mind on not coming back to that Sephora, he was not rushing to just get me in and out and he in fact got me multiple things I didn’t go in for, that I LOVE now. I went in for a mascara, I left with 5 things. He is very sweet and real. I definitely will be back to see him.
I do not think I will ever return to this Sephora location ever again. First of all they never have anything in stock. The people working there... I dont understand how they got hired. The girl at the counter was begging the girl in front of me to give her a good review online. She talked to the girl in front of me for over 20 min when I was the only other person in line and she even knew I was waiting.. They really need to hire better staff.

I am so disappointed with This Sephora. They dont even know how to greet customers. I have been there couple times but never got any help from the associates... I was really pleased with this Sephora when Jasmine was around. I will never be back!

This Sephora is the only one near me. The people who work here are extremely rude, and never ask me if I need help. Everytime I walk in, I always hope that someone would ask me if I need help. But nope! I stand around waiting for help. Eventually, Ill leave. Very disappointing.
I went into the store looking for some mens cologne. Within 5 minutes i had 4 different store associates ask me did i need any help. They didnt ask anyone else if they needed help (only black person in the store). I decided to purchase an item but i felt so disrespected that I immediately returned the item. Never got so many dirty looks in my life. I was embarrassed. I went to Macys on the other side of the mall and got some awesome customer service. The ladies at Macys were so nice that i spent close to 500.00, and will be going back again and thereafter! I will never shop in Sephora again!!!! Or Jc Penney for having such rude people in there store. You wont get my money!!!!
The employees at this sephora arent very friendly. They are more interested in hanging out with each other and checking instagram than helping customers and doing their jobs. I asked an employee for help locating a product and she was very rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her in the biggest way even though she wasnt doing anything at all. I ended up leaving empty handed and placed my order online. Very disappointing.
Only Sephora in the clearwater area, place is always busy and the girls are always helping clients. Went in on a Saturday and they were having a makeup event and were giving out free gifts with purchase! All of the staff where walking around asking myself and other customers for help and sitting ladies down at the beauty studio. Its my favorite place on the planet.

This Sephora store needs some corporate intervention-have had nothing but bad experiences here-the employees as well as the manager need additional training on how to treat customers. Really poor customer service and poor representation for your company.
I love love love Sephora!!! This location is inside of JC Penney. Its a little bit tight and small. They have the nice large selection of products that Sephora carries. It was very hard to get an employees attention. Once I did I was looking for a certain product, the guy said he would check & never came back. Then I found someone else & she did not seem too knowledgeable about the products that they carried. This is one of the only Sephora locations be in the area. Still a good place to get all the good stuff that they carry.
The cashier REFUSED to take my online gift card. Im a cashier and literally I explained it to her and she still refused. TO MAKE THIS MATTER EVEN FUNNIER, On the gift card itself it EXPLAINS HOW TO SCAN IT AND THE WORKER STILL COULD NOT UNDERSTAND. Stupid people, stupid place. Just order your stuff online.
It is awesome to shop brand new bigger store and the sephora staff are experienced and wonderful!
Employees are not doing me a favor by assisting me its their jobI went into the store after I was at macys where I tried a concealer that I wore for a while and decided to purchase, I was at pennys so I went in to Sephora today July 18, 2017 at apprx. 6pm. There was a Gentleman (not so much) in full makeup behind the counter staring off into space. I said hello and asked if he could assist me. He ignored me and I asked once again, he turned to me directly looking me in the eye and told me Im at lunch and proceeded to walk away leaving me standing there. There was a young woman handling a customer and advised me she would assist me after she was done so I waited. She came over and didnt seem to be able to answer any of my questions about the product. All of the sudden she indicated someone needed to pay for their order and again walked away with me standing there. These people do not deserve the job they have if the CUSTOMER is requesting assistance and pretend not to hear or notice them OR leave the customer standing in the middle of the store to help someone else. I will never ever step another foot on Sephora of any kind for the rest of my life. This is the last time I will ever utter the word Sephora. Ugly nasty people inside and out. Maycys employees so attentive and wonderful got a sale well over $200, gave me samples of some products and I will be visiting them again because they did their job and understand the concept of customer service or at least respect for others.
Love Sephora but dislike that I have to go inside JC Penney’s.... ugh
