This place is a joke. Just went in there just spent 35 minutes looking at televisions and not one person greeted me or asked if I needed help. Supporters I was going to purchase a television, rent a television and rent a laptop offer a new apartment I just moved into. They lost a lot of business and revenue today with their lack of customer service. If youre looking for a good quality customer service and attention this is not a place however if youre not looking for good service and enjoy being ignored then step right up.

Steve and his staff at my rent a center, just recently moved to Clearwater, takes the best care of my family and I! I moved here from Nashville almost two years ago and am already the proud owner of a brand new washer and dryer, thanks to them.I cant afford purchases all at once, my credit is not the best, but with them it is. Ive been a satisfied customer for over 20 years.

I have used rent a center for the last 9 or 10 years most of them back in New York, in NY they went out of their way to satisfy my needs, here in Florida it has been a different experience all together, so much so that once Im paid off I will never give them my business again. The employees starting with the manager on down are the worst Ive ever dealt with, have been trying to contact manager for over a month now and have yet to hear a peep from him, his cronies just play interference, if youre reading this review, heed my warning, do not go to this store, they will do and say whatever it takes to make a sale and then not keep their word and ignore you afterwards. All they want is your hard earned money.

These people are not to be trusted. Recommend you not use them at all.

Stay away... Better save your money and buy something that is gonna be yours, instead of renting from these guys... I personally rented a few things from them. At the beginning theyre very helpful but only to get you to rent something from them. Once you walk out the door with their merchandise, the helpful and friendly salesman that you were just talking to, becomes a money hungry, rude dept collector... They will spam your phone with phone calls if youre even half a day late on your bill... (understandable, but still annoying and disrupting). My wife and I explained to them that their back to back phone calls are disrupting our workplace and a few times got us in trouble... They will even go as far to call your employer and bug them about your bill (Very embarrassing)... They will constantly give you different prices and squeeze misc. fees just to suck up even the pocket change that fall through the cracks and under your car seat while you drive... All the stuff that they carry are outdated and heavily used and some of them are in unacceptable shape... Their staff are rude and not customer service oriented! I cant even count the times that they called me and instead of greeting me with Hello, may I speak with... all I got was Hey, yeah you owe us money ... Not even a Hello! How are you today...Basically what I am saying is that its 100 times better to owe the IRS money than to be late on your bill with RC!!!! Ridiculous! RC is company that takes advantage of hard working people, in time of need by jacking up the prices and their fees in their rental agreements... save your money folks... Trust me, its better to buy something brand new and pay less than pay double the price for something outdated and heavily used... Never again! I learned my lesson...

Needed to rent a gaming laptop for PAXEAST....got a gaming laptop for PAXEAST. Great price and great service.

Do not rent from Rent-A-Center. Everything is double the retail price for used products, and yes Im talking about the six month same as cash price. Also the rep at this location added an optional protection plan without asking me which I never even signed for. Their hours are also insane for a company whose entire clientele are working people. 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday? Have fun either wasting part of your day off or taking time out of your workday to deal with these scammers.Its saying something that buying on a credit card is cheaper than this place.
