Great service. They were able to get us an appliance when needed now twice. When we brought our house it did not come with a stove. They were able to get an induction stove at a good price when no one else had any in stock and were back ordered. Again when the washer went out they had one in stock and on sale. Delivery staff were very friendly as well. Most recently they were patient while I cleaned out where the old washer was.

Wife and I came in with only 15 minutes to close on a Tuesday night to look at electric Stoves since ours was on the fritz and was old anyway. We were helped by Lane. He let us know it would likely be 30 days before anything was in stock but there was a stove that they had been getting in sooner as a a primary Frigidaire dealer. We bought it, gave a deposit and he said hed call in anywhere from 30 -60 days but that if he could make something happen, he would do his best since our stove was shot. We got a call the following week! Ready to go installed on a Saturday right on time in the morning as requested. It was a great experience based on a terrible experience for a Fridge we bought from a big box store that starts with an L and is LOW on my opinion for appliances (delivery experience was HORRIBLE...days late, lies...etc. you know the drill)We didnt really expect this to happen so quickly and it was just a solid experience all around. Doing all future appliance and if we need a bed, this is where well be going. Thanks for doing a great job.

I have been waiting since January for my refrigerator. Rob has been very nice and calls me every couple months to tell me an ETA. The last call the ETA was September 1. Yesterday I called and Rob had just walked out the door. Another person proceeded to tell me one of his customers has been waiting since 2020, and he also let me know that Rob doesnt get paid until I have my fridge. He then had to get off of the phone because a customer needed his help. Im reading other reviews where they received their fridges. Did they wait over 9 months? I am beyond frustrated. This is the first time Ive ever written a bad review. ORDERED IN JANUARY!!!

So far havent used the appliances since the condo they were installed is still under renovation but the purchasing experience, delivery and set up of the refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher was excellent. I had to change the delivery date several time because of the renovations and they rolled with the punches and never gave me a problem. If the appliances work as well as the service from Famous Tate I will be one happy camper.

Horrible experience! Do not buy from this company ever if you want good customer service. They are great until you purchase the product and leave then they do not care about you or the faulty product they sold you. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I purchased a different microwave online, but the Salesman Jorge M at the store on East Bay, called me to inform me that it would take 60 to 90 days for it to come in but had a LG microwave 1200 watts with all the features l wanted in black stainless steel and was in stock so l picked it up the next day. I love this countertop microwave, its melody sound, self cleaning interior and stylish elegant look. Very pleased!

We had a problem with our new refrigerator not working. Famous Tate came through big time by exchanging our refrigerator in a week. They went above and beyond in the delivery, pick up and moving of our old refrigerator to accommodate us in the interim.

The salesperson was very helpful and informative. I recommend they ask the customer for the dimensions of the product they already have and compare it to the new product they are purchasing to avoid complications during installation and to tell the customer whats involved in the warranty.

Very disappointed. I bought a new dishwasher, even showed the salesman the one I wanted, I like the towel bar handle, what did I get? The recessed handle. By the time I noticed the installer guy had it all but installed. I accepted it even though I REALLY wanted the towel bar handle. Actually I had to settle for a dishwasher I didnt originally pick. The one I wanted was on backorder until who knows when? So I settled for one in stock. We really needed a dishwasher bad. Im very disappointed and I will be calling the salesman tomorrow 😡*UPDATE.The store was great an actually gave me a credit, even offered to change out the DW. I really appreciated that. I give them 5 stars 🌟 now.

We never even went in the store, just called and told him we needed a washer and dryer and he gave us suggestions on Brands and models. Done in 10 minutes and delivered that week. Super happy with our purchase.

After a terrible experience with Home Depot, I was referred to this local company. The staff joked about how often they receive complaints about Home Depot and promised me a much better experience. I trusted them and bought a dishwasher to be delivered yesterday. I took the day off work. They never showed up. When I called to check the delivery status, the salesman told me they forgot to push it through to delivery and told me a manager would call me to make it right today. No manager ever reached out. But the salesman who was about to lose his commission sure did. And he may as well have spit in my face when he offered to knock 60% off my delivery fee (not even a 10% discount off the entire overpriced order). How big of them to give me a discount on a paid delivery that never showed up! Famous Tate has no regard for their customers time. As a small business owner, Id be on the phone IMMEDIATELY with a customer if they were ever left without a product. But unlike Famous Tate, I value my customers and would never treat them like they dont matter. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. Famous Tate wont mind.

We have purchased three appliances over the last several years from Famous Tates in Largo and it is always a pleasure to work with them. There was no high-pressure sales or pushiness dealing with Paul Procopio,. The size of their store is deceptive, as they have a good selection. We found the pricing competitive with the Big Box stores, and with free delivery. Their delivery crew were wonderful, careful and efficient with removal and installation.

Ok, I am beyond impressed. I was dreading going through the process of ordering a new washer and dryer. All the nightmares stories of taking forever to get a delivery, not having anything in stock, everything on back order and the delivery people that dont care anything about your property or properly installing your new items. Well, Famous Tates was perfect from beginning to end. I did extensive research on which new models I wanted. My old washer and dryer were LG Tromm. I decided to stick with the LG product line, based on reviews and my research. I finally decided late Friday afternoon, that it was time to make my purchase. I called a local retailor to discuss what I wanted. They only had one front load washer in stock and zero matching front load sets, so I would of had to purchase another brand and style for my dryer. I decided to give Famous Tates a call. The lady that answered the phone was professional and took my info as to what I was looking for and said AJ would be calling me back. AJ called me back and had all my information I had provided in my first call. He was very professional and answered all my questions. They had exactly what I wanted and the best part was they could be delivered Monday!!! I was thrilled. I received an email and a text Monday morning giving me my two hour window of 8:30 to 10:30, 8:40 two guys arrived with my items. They removed my old machines, that were in an extremely tight location and installed my new machines. They were amazing and made everything look so easy. They made sure I had time to clean the area, before placing the new machines. They ran the washer and made sure both machines were balanced. This is probably by far one of the absolute best purchasing experiences I have ever had. My husband and I are extremely picky about people working on our property and get really angry when people do not respect our property. Delivery guys were fantastic. Congratulations Famous Tate on a perfect buying experience. I highly recommend!!!

Not their fault but Ive been waiting almost 5 months for my range. All of my other kitchen appliances are in. Just waiting to have them all delivered at the same time. Just want shoppers to make sure the lead time for delivery may be longer than expected. Otherwise great store.

I Ordered a stove from Famous Tate website and I received a call from someone at the store that the stove was going to take about 4 to 6 weeks to be shipped to me. I needed the stove Pronto. The person, and I forget their name, worked to find that same stove at another location and have it delivered immediately. It was delivered without incident. Grateful for Famous Tate and wil order again from them.

Bought range and refrigerator 4 years ago and thought we got a good deal. Unfortunately a year later the seal on the refrigerator disinegrated and they refused to replace it. Sent me a new one and saidgood luck. Paid to have it installed and now the ice maker is barely working.Came home from work today to find the oven and digital display has also quit working on the range. Since when did appliances you pay almost$1000 for be throw away items. Please be aware of this company. Dont stand behind their products and sell subpart appliances.

My wife and I recently visited our nearest Famous Tate to choose appliances for the home we are renovating. Our salesman, MichaelFisher, was very helpful in assisting us with our choices. We both felt that he helped us find quality appliances for the best value and are very pleased with our experience.

We had already selected the refrigerator model at a big box store - but felt purchasing at an appliance store was a better move. So we called the Clearwater location and spoke with Michelle and she convinced us to come in and talk to a salesperson. We liked Rob - and it turns out the price was the same (they would have matched price anyway), we are supporting a local business, and the refrigerator was in stock and could be delivered the next day. Rob and Michelle were masked, but some other employees need to mask up! I was nervous when I saw the refrigerator was unprotected in the delivery truck (however it was pre-inspected and the door switched prior to delivery), but the nice, professional fellows were fully masked and the refrigerator was in perfect shape and quickly set up. Yes, I recommend Famous Tate, Rob and Michelle!

We were able to find almost all our new appliances in stock, which is a real challenge these days, and they were delivered in just a few days. Our sales rep, Rob, was very helpful and we appreciated the way he handled our search. Our only issue was that the dryer door was ordered with a left-hand hinge and it was delivered with a right-hand hinge. Otherwise, the experience was very positive and we would recommend Famous Tate for appliances.

Long distance moved to Florida and ditched our queen mattress and needed a king because of the addition of a beautiful but large golden retriever. Never purchased a mattress from a big store, went to mattress firm and was about to pay until he decided to tell us we wouldn’t have our bed for over a month.. that doesn’t work and I fell in love with a specific model. Came to famous Tate, they had the model I wanted in stock but also had an upgraded version of the mattress I wanted that was a return so I got that one for even cheaper than the lesser model. The move was costly I’m in my late 20s just starting my career and this helped us tremendously. I usually wake up at 5:30am and since sleeping on my new mattress I’ve woken up later and later. Very satisfied and highly recommended!

We made a point of giving our business to a local company and Famous Tate is one of the best. We were buying an upright freezer and they had the one we wanted, except there were no more in stock. We got on a waiting list and bingo - on a Friday - we were notified and made the purchase. It was delivered the following Monday. Their shipping and tracking technology was one of the best weve seen and we knew exactly when the delivery would be made that day. Their customer service is also over the top. We are getting ready to redo our entire kitchen and we will begin with our appliance purchase at Famous Tates.

I own a vacation beach rental and the microwave handle broke. I called Famous Tate and they had a new microwave delivered and installed the next day.

It is differcult to give a totsl rating during the pandemic period. I can say without hesitation the sales person I worked with was excellent. He kept us informed through the shipping process. It took 6 months from order to receipt of the electric range. The delay was due to the covid and all the stores were experiencing the same delays. Plus we wanted a specific airfryer range and that added wait time.Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase and the actions of the store staff.

Well. What can I say about famous tate or should I say Infamous Tate. We purchased a refrigerator and a dish washer brand new of course they sent the delivery company out and they installed everything and said of we noticed anything withing 24 hours to call. We did notice something and we tried to call but nobody answered (shocker). So then we tried to get in touch with the store that we purchased the stuff from and they played games and didnt want to really get back to us and when they did they had no desire to make it right thats fine then. It tells me what kind of business they run and there is no way they will ever get anymore of my business infact we have already made a few more purchases from a local competitor that we are very happy with . Sears stills bests the heck out of this place. What a joke! On a scale 1 -10 this place is a negative 5. They are just looking for that quick here and now buck. Hope it was worth it to them. I have already turned a few people away and will continue to keep looking out for the best interest of other people to not be ripped off. The handle on the refrigerator broke off. (Fixed now, did myself). No one would honor it. Also my dish washer door has a dent that was caused by the install. Still has a dent. Brand new machine. So yeah, Buyers Beware!

I needed to replace a refrigerator in my condo, which is a second home and I live out of state. Due to COVID-19 I was unable to do any purchasing and receiving in person so I needed to coordinate the delivery with a local family members schedule. I initially checked Lowes and Home Depot for the same model I had and neither one of them could accommodate the dates I needed - and forget about actually talking to a human - was on hold forever with those stores! I found the same model on line at Famous Tate for the same price. Ordered it on line and an actual human called me back immediately to confirm my unique delivery instructions. The same person even answered my email while he was on a day off! Was able to track the delivery on line and all went smoothly. I cant emphasize enough the human touch and accountability over a big box store. Highly, highly recommend.

I highly recommend Famous Tate’s. I bought a washer/dryer combo this month. Special shout out to employee Steve Klinger at the Clearwater store who provided outstanding customer service. Famous Tate’s had what I wanted in stock, delivered it quickly and undamaged, and when I needed them to come back out on Christmas Eve to connect everything (I had a needed plumbing repair), Steve made a special accommodation for us. The Famous Tate crew came out and were again on time, efficient, and professional. Great experience!I note that Famous Tate’s was our second choice (I wish I had gone to Famous Tate’s first!). I had initially ordered this combo at Home Depot, who sent three damaged appliances on three different dates. Each time I spent at least an hour trying to get Home Depot to deliver an undamaged one. Home Depot had terrible customer service and I was so frustrated I demanded a refund. A neighbor recommended Famous Tate’s.One phone call to Famous Tate’s, and Steve Klinger had me set. Famous Tate’s price was CHEAPER than Home Depot for the exact same washer/dryer. And then Steve made sure I was set for Christmas and sent a Famous Tate’s installation crew the day before Christmas. Fantastic.We plan to put a new kitchen in this year. We plan to buy all of our appliances from Famous Tate’s. I highly recommend this company!

After two terrible Loews experiences trying to get a washer/dryer that fit - 2 different staff there on two different days - after rejecting both deliveries I called Famous Tate. I got Jeff on the phone by chance and he deserves 10 stars. But Google only goes up to 5. I told him EXACTLY what I told Loews - I want the VERY best washer/dryer that works the best, has the least problems that will fit - 27 max across each. He promptly recommended Electrolux and gave me the model number so I could go online while we were on the phone and see what they looked like. Looked good to me. Price was right - compared to what Google was saying across the boards for those and we struck a deal and I paid - all while on the phone. They arrived on Tuesday as promised. They fit and theyre perfect. Jeff - Famous Tate is very lucky to have you. By the way you spoke of the company I know its a great place to work too. I highly recommend this family owned business!

I first checked out particular washer and dryers. A few days later when I went to the web site I CHAT with someone who was very helpful.We had both found the same w/d that I was interested in. She then told me she would have a salesman contact me. The next day Jeffrey Warner called me and then he sent a quote. I called him to confirm everything and set up a delivery day. The delivery men were on time and put the w/d where I requested. I was pleased with every person. I use a walker so doing everything on line made my life easier.

I have purchased several large appliances from Famous Tate and have never had a problem. Staff are professional and pricing is pretty good. Would not hesitate to buy from them again. I have purchased a stove and now just purchased a dishwasher including installation in both cases. The service people were good and professional. Sales people also know their stuff.

I purchased a new refrigerator and wanted to use a local company during these crazy times. All went well but I did have an issue with the ice dispenser. When I reached out to Famous Tate they immediately sent out a technician. Unfortunately, we returned the appliance but received a new one the same week. It is working great! I think Famous Tate did a great job handling the issue and provided excellent customer service!

All as promised. I have already ordered a second appliance. Only hiccup apparently came in trying to get a part from another store. Apparently the warehouse failed to put it on the truck when promised. Not the end of the world. Problem corrected and all fine.

Famous Tate is my go to store for any type of appliance. Better selection than Lowe’s and Home Depot, and I’ve often found the prices to be at or below the big box stores. I recently saved over $40 on a Frigidaire microwave at FT as compared to the cost for the exact same thing at Lowe’s. Great service too!

I contacted the online inquiry about 9PM about a refrigerator purchase, after having our purchase cancelled from Lowe’s (Covid 19 delays). I thought that I would likely hear something the next day, because it was so late - so to my surprise, one of their employees (Jason)contacted me back and we went back and forth with options for a couple hours until I made up my mind on the purchase and he wrote the invoice up at approximately 11PM that evening.I couldn’t believe how helpful Jason was and understanding that we had at this point been without a refrigerator for several days and did a preliminary search of when the quickest he could arrange a delivery. The invoice was sent to me and the next morning, I was in contact with the store to make payment.The delivery was today and the delivery was smooth and right on time. Communication has been GREAT in the couple of days we have been dealing with your store.We really appreciate Jason being so attentive to the virtual customer and to the delivery guys (sorry don’t have their names) for being on time and careful when delivering. We were on our may to Mattress Firm, which is where we ended up buying from. We have this particular location at 5 stars because of the sales associate who helped us. His name is Rob, and went above and beyond with passing along his knowledge of beds. He has 30+ years of experience, and it showed. The problem was selection. This franchises strong suit is appliances, not beds. If you go there, please ask for Rob. He is an asset to the store!

Great experience from start to finish! We went in a couple of weeks ago looking for a new gas range. Jeff greeted us and was able to help right away asking questions to show us what would be best for us. He never tried to oversell us or sell us anything we didn’t need or want. He found us Top Quality Appliances at affordable prices and handled All of the arrangements to get them delivered and installed!! We will continue to visit when we need his help!

I have bought Appliances a few years ago, needed a Deep Freezer, they preordered it and it came in the time span the promised, very good experience with them!

I have been a Famous Tate customer for years. In trying to decide on a new gas cooktop over current oven or changing to a gas slide in range for our newly purchased home it was recommended that a survey of the current set up be done. The current electric cooktop passed home inspection as working fine but we prefer gas cooking. John K contacted Premier Installation to do the survey. Josh from Premier pulled the cooktop and oven out to measure. It was decided a gas slide in range would fit better. After Josh put everything back in place and left I discovered 3 of the 5 burners on the cooktop did not work, the knobs won’t even turn. I called Famous Tate and spoke to Shawn who is supposedly a manager to get some direction as how to handle this situation but all he did was argue with me like a petulant child. He did not even have the courtesy of listening to me let alone providing any mature direction toward resolving the issue. Needless to say I am no longer a customer of the Largo Famous Tate store. Professionalism is greatly lacking in the management there!

Famous Tate knew I had a small window of time to receive my order. They stayed in touch with me and eventually found my matching appliance. Customer service is A+ in a time where there is no customer service.

I Purchased my kitchenAid downdraft range and Speed Queen washer and dryer from Famous Tate. If you are looking for quality, this is the place to go. I had a small issue with my range, it’s three years old. I called them and they set up an appointment immediately to fix it, all under the warranty.They are a step above!

During this insane times we are under (Covid) both my dryer and washer go on the fritz. I called Famous Tates where I had also got my Fridge. Within 24 hours I had band new units installed in my house. I would totally recommend them for any appliance needs.

I’d bought a dishwasher at a big box store, only to get a call the day it was to de delivered telling me it had arrived damaged.After waiting for a couple of weeks and hearing nothing, I cancelled my order and headed over to the Famous Tate’s in Clearwater.Impressed with their inventory, prices (with installation, cheaper than the big box stores), but especially the level of customer service I received.A big shout-out to our salesman, Tom H., who kept me up to date all the way to the installation.Super responsive about getting right back to me with any questions.And the installers were great, too. Came when they were supposed to, cleaned up.My new appliance store. These guys are just so much more reliable and responsive than the big box guys.

I am an 81 yr old woman with a respiratory condition unable to leave my home so I asked my son to leave his work to help me. I would have given you a five star rating except that one of the gentleman asked my son to sweep out the section where he was about to put in the washer. There was more than one person there and the washer was already on the ground. They would have gotten a larger tip had they done the task themselves .

Needed a new dishwasher. Neighbor recommended them so I called and they were able to come out the next day to install. Great price, great service and overall great experience. Will use them for any and all future appliance needs.

I bought a washer and dryer this weekend from Tom at Famous Tate in Largo. Excellent value and product and the delivery company that they use is top of the line. This is my second purchase from this store. I bought a GE French door fridge last year which was also great. I shopped a lot and both times their prices were the best both times and they provide much better service than a big box store like Home Depot.

We rent a home near the Largo FL. store and always purchase fro them.Theyve always been great with us and never had any issues with anything from the purchase to the delivery. Always a great experience when working with Famous Tate!! No need to call anyone else!

This store is wonderful. The sales person Paul, was fantastic. I would recommend this store to everyone. I will purchase another appliance here again. Delivery and Set-up were excellent. After delivery men left, upon more inspection I noticed that the light cover for the refrigerator was missing, no where to be found. I will ask if they have an extra one. Over all I am very pleased. Purchased LG washer/dryer at the Largo store on East Bay Drive. Sean was a very knowledgeable sales person and moved us through the process quickly. There was an opening in the delivery schedule for the next day. I received a call at 7:20 a.m. the next morning telling me that truck would arrive sometime between 9:15-11:15. I then received a second call around 8:30 from the driver saying that the truck would be at my home in about 10 minutes. Both installers--Felix & Michael--were real gentlemen. Very personable and attentive to the job while taking care in my home as they hauled old washer/dryer down from the 3rd floor of my townhome, and then making the trip back up with the new ones. Really knew what they were doing.
