Today I visited Home Depot’s lawn and garden center. It is well stocked and had friendly staff that are eager to assist you. They carry a wide variety of plants for both indoor and outdoor. I also appreciated that they had grass plugs in stock and had a lot of them. I also stopped by the tile area which is amazing!
Plenty of staff to assist you. The staff also seem knowledgeable. Store is clean and organized. Check out lines were pretty fast. Prices are competitive but a lot of things are also a little pricey.
Just drove 30 minutes for an item that shows was in stock at this location (20 Pcs) and when I came there was actually none in stock. The manager couldn’t explain why the Home Depot online shows it in stock. What a complete waste of time. You need to update your online inventory and stop wasting people’s time!!!Ended up going to Lowe’s up the block and their stock was accurate and they did have it.
They DO NOT support our Veterans. No discount for Veterans only ACTIVE members. Also compared to LOWES .... really zero American pride. LOWES has all the support the troops, flags, signs, military branch patches when you walk in you just feel welcomed as a Veteran. Home Depot is the Walmart of Supplies and Lowes is the Target.
Very busy store but good customer service and well stocked.
Many Home Depot stores with little or no pool supplies. This store has my preferred brand, Max Blue 6-in-1 3 tablets. Using this brand, my water testing at pool store consistently shows all chemical markers spot-on. These results with me using 2 tablets in chlorinator. Other brands minimum 3 tabs for same clean water results.
Home Depot is always nice to walk around. Theyre decently organized. I was hoping to find some venus fly traps. Oh well.
I bought an above the stove microwave today. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable. But I have issues with store policies. My microwave cost less than $396.00 so I couldnt get free delivery...then, I also learned that if I wanted the other microwave taken away, that would cost me $25.00 more (but I still couldnt get free delivery because the initial unit cost less than $396.00). Of course, taxes would still be added. Also, having it installed would also be extra (but still no free delivery). In other words, no matter how much you spend overall, theres no way to get free delivery unless you spend over $600.00 total. My bill was $484.00.Not cool.
Had lots of help at the Gulf to Bay Clearwater store... also at the memorial highway store.. looks like home depot is coming back around.
I use to love Home Depot until I started to compare pricing with Lowes actually Lowes are much lower on the average every day item, not only that I am able to get a militarys discount. Home Depot makes that much harder to qualified for one. I do love Home Depots selection of plants they carry.
Just got back from getting window blinds. Had to gave them cut to fit a custom sized window. KATHY was amazingly precise and pleasant at the same time to make sure the shades were cut to the exact size! And yes, they were. In a time where stores are rated for their customer service, The Home Depot struck gold with Kathy! Thanks for taking the stress out of shopping. And Kim at the register was equally as pleasant!
Great experience at this home depot, just left Lowes because they wouldnt do it! needed some insulation foam board cut to a specific size(also the only way i could get it in my car) so i asked these 2 associates i found and they told me they would call the ones in that department and see if they could do it, they told me they no longer do that anymore but they said they would do it for me even though it wasnt their dept. They did an awesome job! Thanks
Great for the inventive and prepared workers out there who want to build, create, paint, and get something done in the creative industry of Home depot where anyone could anything in this place that suits your needs! And... Im no comment bot! Its no lie as my dad and relatives had an easy time finding things there. The people there are helpful!
Great place great service. I cant remember his name but he was an older gentleman that was in Customer Service. I walked over and asked if somebody could help me with a rug and he happily came and carried the rug all the way to my car for me. Then we chatted for a little bit. What a fantastic guy. And a great representation of what Home Depot is about
It sucked! We needed these itens cut to fit in the car.First we had a sheet of plywood cut in 1/2, no problem. The next thing was a piece of composite board. The man said thats concrete I cant cut it. Tried to explain that we can cut it with a saw at home. Didnt help. Went and got a box cutter and cut in half. Secondly, went to contractor side and she pointed to a sign that said they didnt take Veteran discount at that register. Lastly, we walked up to self check out. Of course, no bar code on one of the keyboard sheets. Asked can you check how much it is because in Home Depot if they cant figure it out the customer has to go back and get the information. She said she would try. Keep in mind you dont sell plywood already cut. She wanted to scan both pieces. Tried to explain it was only one board that had been cut in half. She tried to tell us she had to scan it twice. We had had enough, told them to keep it. If people want to have these positions, its about customer service, dont argue with the customer especially if you dont know what to do.
Small store but great customer appreciation
Always find what I need clean and we’ll stocked store. And everyone is very helpful and nice.
The department employees were very helpful at finding your needs and the employees at the register made you feel they were to service your needs and welcome you back.
Great selection but found a Milwaukee 800L USB flashlight for 19 less on Amazon - 50 under 69.95
I love coming to home depot they are a big candy store for me
This store (Gulf to Bay Bl. Clearwater, FL) is very poorly managed. Ive had numerous instances of purchasing boxed items that have missing parts, repackaged items with hardware bags opened and when I have to take back the item it ends up being a big deal. One instance when I purchased a Christmas tree I had to return it two times with the stand missing. Thats three trips for one tree! Either they are out of the item or the person doesnt know where it is and takes 10 to 15 minutes to either find or discover its not available.Im in my mid seventies with a bad back where my doctor told me not to lift anything heavy. I told the clerk this and asked her to send someone to help load heavy bags of rock. She ignored my request and told me to push the cart full of 50 bags of the rock across the store to their loading area.I stopped shopping there nearly a year ago. The only reason I made this purchase there was for time and convenience reasons. It was neither of these. As I opened with this statement: this store is extremely poorly managed. Ill add, their staff needs further training in customer relations.
They always have the tools we need. Even the hard to find ones
Great store. Always well stocked, nice staff. Good prices. If Im not in the store at least once a week, they worry about me!
My favorite location in Pinellas County. Always have what I need in stock and the staff is very helpful.
Found what I needed. But… an employee complained i took her go back cart. I came in from the other entrance and wasnt able to find a cart. She told me it would be easier to go back out to find one. 🙄
Great place to get all your home needs for Summer. They have everything to update your House and Yard for the season. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Im sure you will feel at Home as I did.
Great place for your home improvement and project needs. They always have plenty of staff here and you can easily find assistance for locating items from a knowledgeable crew.
Clean, fully-stoked, customer-friendly, efficient, plenty of parking. Totally satisfied. Bought there charcoal BBQ for The Fourth. Thanks guys fir your help and advice!
OMG, talk about amazing people. Paul and Jeff are the most amazing people! They were generous with their time and knowledge. I have been struggling on making centerpieces for my wedding and have spent so much money trying to get this to work. I wish I would have met them a year ago when I started this project. I was brought to tears by their helpfulness and suggestions. I am walking out of the store confident and capable. Give them a raise STAT! There really are nice people still out there!
Big Store fully stocked with all typical Home Depot Stores...Large selection also on landscaping, trees, flowering plant, shrubs & veggie garden plants... Friendly helpful store associates....
Done with home depot for shopping tool no Dewalt 20 volt charger, no adjustable pry bar, no long nut drivers, no Dewalt cordless drills, no repeating cordless saw, cant find anything I want, walk out in disgust EMPTY SHELVES EVERYWHEREStart buying from AMAZON guess home depot cant solve supply problems like SEARS AND JCPENNY going out like them are we waiting for CHINA to send the computer Chips, or dont we make TOOLS IN THE USA anymore.
Went to get a light bulb for the oven. Store was clean and organized.
Location, Location, Location. We believe it pays to travel to the store that serves you best. Our ‘The Home Depot’ location by choice is Gulf to Bay in Clearwater.
Jeff in lumber and Deb in customer service both ROCK!!We recently moved to the area. I shop in HD at least once a week. I can usually find what I need, and can always find someone to help me and answer my questions. A couple of times recently, my husband and I have had associates go above and beyond to be helpful.Yesterday, my husband lost his phone and was struggling to contact me and figure out how to locate the lost phone. Deb, in customer service was determined to do everything she could to help him. She left the nicest message and text on my cell phone making me aware that my husband was without his phone. She could have so easily said Sorry, no one has turned in. an I-phoneA couple of weeks ago, I was having a some boards cut in the lumber department. Jeff asked a question or two about my project and offered to tweak the cuts a tad to make the project work better. In a quick conversation as he made the cuts, he gave a couple of tips and alerted me to couple of mistakes that I should avoid. I had an idea of what to do and it would have worked okay but the input Jeff gave me took the project from so-so to outstanding.I shopped at the competition a couple nights ago and the difference in my shopping experience was so striking. Home Depot is better stocked, better staffed and just generally more customer service oriented.
Have a good experience each time I go here.... lots of people available to help
Every tool you need you will find it the staff always helpful and friendly
Store is nice staff for the most part is ok. Just hard to find someone who is working to help you find stuff
I really just love my local Home Depot..needed some really bright bulbs for my bathroom vanity..a store rep..that was busy stocking..stopped and guided me and helped me find just the right bulbs..Great place to shop for your home essentials
This place is great! Super nice people!
Somewhat decent. Not always having what I need is a little frustrating. Great service however.
Didnt have what I was looking for. Website showed quantity in stocks, when I get there and get a hold of an associate his scanner showed they were -91 units! 😐
Really helpful staff even though we were at the start of a hurricane and needed Draino!
Nice employees who were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
Love the garden center staff is friendly.
I was able to get 2 out of 3 items I was looking for. I waa able to purchase an umbrella clothesline & a bathroom faucet. I also wanted to get a new kitchen faucet, but they were completely out of the one I wanted. Ill either have to go back another time or order it online.
A smaller HD but always clean and well stocked with what Im shopping for.
Can always find what I need in the store. The parking lot is a nightmare though. Almost saw a fight and a dude almost backed into me.
Knowledgeable, helpful staff, a well stocked warehouse and friendly service. Several Home Depots within easy driving distance, but this will always be my favorite!
We are in the Flooring installation business and Home Depot is our usual go-to for most of our supplies, tools and equipment. The current supply issues have made for some difficulties finding items but the majority of the time, we can find another location for what we need.
I went to get a simple halogen bulb and they had such a small selection of them that I could not even find the right wattage. To be fair, Lowe’s didn’t either (but that’s expected from Lowe’s). The parking lot was an actual madhouse. With limited spots upfront and small winding roads, the parking lot is unsafe and quite annoying to find a spot in.
I can always find what I need at Home Depot.
Never had anyone go to the extreme of finding something to comfort me... didnt find what I was looking for, but I got served!
All stores are not set up the same way & its sucks going to another one there so different Lowes are all the same easy shopping anywhere you go
Ive been looking for residential circuit breakers. There seems to be a shortage. I wish they had the option to notify people when items come in. Otherwise they would get 5 stars.
Had to pick up two more gallons of paint dropped off my little sample went shopping for a few minutes, came back got my paint and was out of there. that was a good experience !! I just dont like it when I looking for something in the hired help tells you if at the other end of the store and theyre always wrong
After a bad cut by a novice; an experienced staffer took over and did a superb job of cutting shelves for me
I like home depot more than Lowes, but it was hot as hell today and no breeze.
Good information on customer service counter...
Online delivery was horrible, never got here. Called every day Sunday through Wednesday. Kept hearing tomorrow . Each time on hold for 30 minutes. Found out they set it up to be delivered by van, but vans dont travel where I live. So they transferred to a different store that also couldnt get it delivered. Chat was also useless and it took 30 minute to get a rep. When I finally asked to cancel the order the chat /sms rep told me -no joke- to call the store...
Nice and clean and very helpful people working here.
I spent all day today waiting for the delivery of 15 plants I picked out and paid for at the store 2 weeks ago. After they failed to make the delivery, they told me my items were out of stock and the delivery was rescheduled for next week. Clearly, they sold the items I paid for to other customers which is missed up. They didn’t even have the courtesy to notify me that my order was being rescheduled and I wasted my entire day waiting for them to show up. I don’t believe I will ever be stepping a foot into Home Depot after this experience
Always good deals and friendly staff
Great in asked question given answet found items need and quick out. Great visit
Great prices and friendly staff!! I love this place and being a Veteran and receiving a discount is even better!!
Plenty of associates working and they are helpful. In and out quick visit.
2 rental prices were reasonable. Great service.
Ive found this to be one of the best HDs in Pinellas county and probably the one I use the most. Staff are always there to help, although I dont require much assistance. Store is clean, parking is ample and checkout lines arent to long (do you hear that Lowes???) Self checkout is a great option and one that I typically use when I can. Ive used the tool rental as well and its been smooth sailing and hassle free.
Like every store we go.Help urself, business
Amazing how all staff know where everything is
It was a great shopping experience.
I was there on Sunday March 14th to pick up some wood to use for shelving. I had to wait around probably close to half hour or more just to get my wood cut for me thats after calling the store to have someone come to the lumber area then he cuts the first piece of wrong if you get another piece to recut and today when I get back and Im able to start my project I find the woods cut wrong so I have to go back to have it re-cut I talked to somebody at the store didnt really get an apology was just told go to another store closer and have them cut it or to bring it back to them and have it re-cut it because I live in safety Harbor. So not only did I waste a bunch of time yesterday staying around I dont have to waste time today to have it done properly and once again not even really an apology for the time I have to spend to get their mistake fixed.Point is dont get any lumber cut there unless you absolutely have to
If you need help in the store, look for Connie in the Kitchen area. She knows the whole store. She is the lady with brown hair and in the wheelchair. Dont worry she can move, and she is the most helpful. If you need help in the loading and unloading area, look for Jeremiah. He is in his late teens, or early twenties with black hair. He is very helpful, strong and polite.
Nobody seems to want to carry the cheap 20x25 filters any more
Did not find what I was looking for, but its a great store. It always seems to be well staffed and clean.
Very Disappointed...I bought several plants from here and spent a pretty penny..the tomato plant and the strawberry plant both died within a week...yes 1 week of purchase, as well as another potted plant...in ONE week. Ive been growing plants for years and have never seen anything like it. I also bought some plants from Walmart a day later and they are thriving...I will Never buy plants from here again..I also dont recommend anyone else buy them either. I should have bought the tomato plants from a reputable nursery.
Nice to see a fuller store. Lots more available than my usual location.
Personal service great people on the floor that are knowledgeable great for do-it-yourself
Always good had everything I needed
Always can find what I need and everyone is very helpful
I always find everything that I need
Pretty good I dont like it near as much as I used to with self checkout.
Brought 40 bags of mulch...great price, but now zip have to spread it! Lol
I bought 2 very healthy plants. Garden center is fun
Here all the time. Almost have the aisles memorized on where to pick up the next item I need haha. Great customer service. Keep it up =]
Great garden selection. Home upgrades are good but little things i would expect at a hardware store are minimal at best. Example. Large guage cable connectors they had one of and it was too small. Ace is the place for actual hardware.
Employees: 5 stars, always helpful and friendly no matter whom Ive come across for checking or asking questions.Selection: 3 stars, because prices are average comparable to anywhere else like Lowes etc (not really any steals deals I find on items Ive needed), and regardless of 2020 world situation, the stock selection on areas like gardening pesticides and other basics for garden organizing dont get restocked regularly from what Ive seen. If I come to a specialty niche store for a niche product, I shouldnt have to relegate to Amazon.com due to lack of inventory.
To start, I want to say I am EXTREMELY patient with people and sometimes things getting missed with larger corporations...but this experience I have had is the absolute worst Ive had with a purchase. Rewinding back to February 12/13, went in to the store and thought, well, Home Depot seems decent enough and purchased a washer and dryer set and was about $2,000. Everything seemed fine and got the first appointment for delivery set up--then the mess starts. First, a BRAND NEW dryer has a dent like a bowling ball went into the front so, naturally, I refused delivery of both items (who would keep a washer with no dryer?! and this is important for later). So, we get told its going to be another 2 weeks for delivery. Wait the two weeks. Get another call saying the new dryer hasnt made it so reschedule again. Wait again. Then get another call about delivery issues but should have it by X date. X date comes and delivery guys come--and ONLY HAVE THE WASHER AGAIN. The dryer has disappeared off the face of the earth. Now, since its been a month and still no end in sight, we decide to just cancel the order and get a refund--simple right? NOPE. Go to the store, they say they process it and then get a phone call from customer care about the issue and get asked if we only needed a refund for the dryer--NO! It is a refund for everything (washer and dryer PLUS the hookups and such, of course). So wait on the phone for a bit and told, ok, everything should be good to go and your refund will be done by next Thursday (todays date). Well, still nothing and called in--literally another hour wasted to find out that the still question if I actually have the dryer or not. SO much time wasted and still out my money AND my time. The refund was never done properly, the GE people said this and the Home Depot said that and who tf cares?! So, as it sits now, I get to wait until NEXT week to see if it processes correctly and I can FINALLY have my money back--you know, since it is SO difficult to deliver purchased items to your customer.Oh, and to top it all off? My wife went to complain to a manager about the whole situation as it was JUST getting started--they cant even give you a gift card to help with the big inconvenience right. Even that hasnt arrived and that was supposed to be a simple e-certificate/card with the balance he offered because of their screwups. Home Depot has failed miserably. I used to use them for basically everything. From decorations, packing supplies, tools, paint and LITERALLY everything (unless ONE item they didnt have and I needed was elsewhere). One experience has now made me NEVER want to go back, to any Home Depot store.
One of the smaller Home Depots. Carries most thing but for a larger selection you need to go to the Largo HD or Pinellas Park
We absolutely love this store! The associates are always friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell. great variety to choose from
Clean and the hardware associate was helpful
Paint counter is horrible. I needed paint samples for my house. The guy at the counter did not speak English and certainly was not experienced in paint. I got 7 tiny sample jars and they all looked exactly the same. The sign clearly said these were $1.95 each only to discover they were $4 a piece - more than twice as expensive as the paint counter at Lowe’s. I asked this same guy about the price being twice as expensive as advertised and he said “it’s satin” which of course was not explained to me beforehand. If you need paint - go to LOWES.
Love this place! Was very easy, especially being disabled, found a motorized cart to pickup my online package without any issues. The STAFF is just AWESOME! Helped put the box in the cart, got someone to walk out to my car with me to help put it in my trunk! It was just a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! One that I would NEVER forget! MANY THANKS to the ONLINE TEAM and to EVERYONE who assisted me. Your Kindness did NOT go Unnoticed!! - Sally
