1 star is generous but it wont let me give them 0 stars. James is a con artist. My wife and I bought an appliance package from him. When it was delivered they brought a stove that we didnt pay for. We immediately called and he said my mistake, Ill deliver the correct one. Spoiler alert, it never came and the range he sent had burners that didnt work. The refrigerator never cooled down. After a week of back and forth he sent a repair man who looked like he was straight from The Hills Have Eyes. He actually took his false teeth out in my kitchen and proceeded to touch stuff in my house. The repair guy said he had to order a part and he would be back in a few days. He never came back and James started ditching our calls and text. Finally we called a real repair man who said he could fix it but it would cost over $1,200 just in parts. The compressor was shot and had some form of a bypass valve that the repair man said people will use when buying time on a fridge getting ready to go out. We said screw it and had to go buy new appliances from a reputable company. The appliance outlet center knew what they were selling. They knew the fridge was bad. They knew they were sending us a similar looking stove and they thought we wouldnt notice. Theyre con artist who steal peoples money. I believe in Karma. James will get whats coming to him one dayUPDATE- the scum bag was arrested for scheme to defraud. If you were a victim please contact the Clearwater police department.

I agree with all the negative reviews stated. DO NOT BUY from this business/person. He is a fraud, con artist... I purchased a washer machine as new with a year warranty. Yeah right! The washer machine never worked from the beginning. He never showed up for repair or return my calls/text.After paying $45.95 to get a diagnose from a professional appliances repair, I was told to better buy a new machine than get that one fixed. : (

Zero stars!! He sold us a refrigerator March 2020 that smelled so bad that he even put strong perfume scent in it to disguise it. The icemaker had bugs in the ice when it created the cubes. It took about 4-5 weeks to get them all out. GROSS! Also, the shelves didnt fit correctly and like others, he said he would send someone to fix them. Never happened.

My husband found this guy on offer up he didn’t know it was a business... he bought a stand up deep freezer for $500 with a one year warranty, brought it home and it didn’t work. It never turned on. He said he would send a guy to fix it and buy a part it’s been over a week and he still hasn’t done anything about it. I’m going to report him to the Better Business Bureau and I’m thinking I’ll call Better call Benkin and let the community know what kind of business this is and protect others from being taken advantage of. After reading his reviews, he obviously has no regard for others, is unethical and preys on hard working people. He is the bad guy people warn you about when you buy used or (scratch n dent appliances), He’s a thief and has no conscience. He sells broken appliances and doesn’t honor his one year warranty.

In short, don’t deal with James or his business at all. There are a million used appliance shops that care about their customers and this is definitely not one of them. I made the mistake of paying $800 for a chest freezer through Zelle. The only reason I bought it was because I was told that it would be delivered to me two and half hours away. After weeks of not receiving the freezer and being given countless excuses, I requested a refund from James and was denied multiple times. I finally received the freezer after I drove and picked it up a month later myself. Don’t let his kind, caring voice and demeanor fool you. It’s all fake and he does not care about you or your money or your time.

Great store James was very helpful got a fridge and stove for a great price. They had it deliver to my home works very well no issue great staff will recommend my family and friends

James sent stephen out to come fix my dryer he was really nice and fair he offered to do the maintenance on all of my appliance for free if i got my dryer repaired he did a really good job i will use them again

Just got scam on 1100$ from james, sold me a brand new refrigerator with full warranty. The refrigerator never worked, I call Samsung and it does have warranty. Im reporting the place to the BBB and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY, see all the reviews before you do business with them.

My biggest regret is ever doing business with James Holecek and the appliance Outlet Center center located in clearwater. While i made an error in this transaction, James over promised repeatedly and always under delivered! He is like a smarmy, slimy used car salesman; and has the banter to match. Please heed my advice and stay far away from this place and their poor customer service and business practices. Don’t be fooled by James’s fast talking, all knowing BS. Additionally i paid them $125 for deliyand then had to assist his one man delivery team because he could not handle the equipment by himself. I would never recommend or do business with this joint again!
