I love this food lion the best.. The employees are amazing and go above and beyond. Today Aaron helped me load my groceries when he saw I was having a hard time getting my toddler settled and loading my groceries... They store always has what I need and its such a calming environment

Like this location because they always have live plants! Their food selections are decent. I do love their hot wing bar! I would like to see more varieties. I like this location over Flowers Plantation location. That location is really basic.

Easy parking, store well organized, sale items well labeled, self service check out is a breeze.

Always have the products Im looking for and they have a great bakery.

There are certain products I can only find in Food Lion - prices of some products are less expensive and staff is very helpful

Being located in an older looking shopping strip, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw how Food Lions vegetables and fruits are displayed. No willed fruits or vegetables either. I walked all over the clean store. Next time I am in Clayton Ill be Shopping with Food Lion.

The organization of this particular store I find to be extremely inconvenient. Cant find a thing. It also seems like theyre always out of everything. Note to store: take notes from the Food Lion in Garner.... BOTH locations.

Parking lot was very messy the day of my visit. The store was fully staffed and it was not that busy so I don’t see a suitable justification for this problem. Staff is friendly and store is overall nice and clean.

Nice location, easy to get in and out of the shopping area. Never a problem with parking. Probably one of the better places to buy groceries at a reasonable cost.

The store was clean and well stocked. They were enforcing social distances.

Have been ordering delivery and shopping from this location on and off for several years. Lately ordering delivery (Food Lion uses Instacart). Shoppers have been excellent but this FL location is frequently out of common items (pandemic or not) and I spend a lot of time answering shopper texts or going to other grocery stores myself to find items. Seems theres poor inventory management here.Update (2 months later): Still shopping here via Instacart as it seems I have no choice of which Food Lion my shopper visits (assuming auto select based on proximity). Shopper had to replace or refund 6 of 16 items. Really? This is not a problem at the Neuse Parkway location. Unfortunately, I cannot select location. Please note, the Instacart shoppers have all been exceptional.Update (1 month later) - Inventory still an issue. I do not have this issue at other FL locations.Update (another month later) - Thought I would mention that inventory issues have not been as bad lately. Shoppers not having to replace as many items. Thank you for the improvement!

The produce department here has the freshest vegetables in town. Ive been to other stores and the produce isnt nearly as good.

This Food Lion is usually well stocked and clean. Sometimes the lines get backed up but overall decent. They also usually have a good amount of inventory on sale.

Knowing that Food Lion doesnt have the all the shelves stocked ; they are trying to get them done . I was impressed with this I figured that I could find something else instead of getting upset. This is where I do most of my shopping. The cashier was very nice . I never have a problem with any of the employees that work at Food Lion. I do feel that seniors need to be able to go shopping before the other people so they can get what they need first until this nasty virus is over with. Then the handicap should be next. These are my thoughts. Food Lion as done a great job. Thank you.

You cannot get in touch with anyone there by phone. They do not answer. I accidentally forgot a box of wine when I picked up the bags with the rest of the items. The box of wine wasnt bagged, & I left it on the check out. Ive tried several times (10+) to reach someone there. The phone is ALWAYS busy. May be understaffed, who knows why. Dont waste your time trying to call them....

My favorite Food Lion. Everyone is so nice and they have longevity of staff. I like that it feels home town.

The food lion lion brand sweet tea tastes like it was brewed in a rusty vat where they used to store severed pig parts. It has a strong meat flavor that could not be covered up by the diabetes inducing amount of sugar. All in all the quality control department is less competent in Epsteins prison guards. The rest of the store is alright.

Theyre a 5-minute drive from me and every associate I encounter is nice and provides excellent customer service.

Super busy, but wasnt too bad for the length of lines. It was a little packed and moving through aisles was a bit difficult. The employees were very helpful.

Selection of different items was very good. Prices werent bad, especially with your MVP card. Staff was very friendly. Was in and out fairly quickly. Not the closest grocery store to my house, but Id definitely go back

Stopped by Food Lion only for one thing and they had a pretty good sale on snack items. Of course I had to buy some! BOGO on muffins and entamins cakes. YUM.

It really is better than most people think. Inexpensive, great fruit and good deals very often. The personel are very helpful!

Employees very helpful and courteous. Store well stocked and clean. We were there on Monday before Hurricane Florence due on Thursday. All registers were open and they were moving customers through rapidly. Great PR on their part!!

It is a little more pricey than Walmart but carries items, that I like, tha Walmart stopped carrying. There are somethings that I will pay extra for. Otherwise, it is a great neighborhood store. It is clean, orderly, has friendly staff. Even though it only has groceries, it doesnt take as long to shop, if that is all you require.

Friendly & laid back grocery store

Somehow, I tend to forget that Food Lion is right down the road - theyre a good alternative to Lowes Foods and WalMart, and are just as close to us. Doing a price check for the items I needed for my seafood boil, I was surprised they had the others beat - and they had snow crab legs for just $10.99 per lb! I loaded up, for sure!

Absolutely love this store. You never have to wait to be checked out. My sons birthday cake was amazing. I highly recommend this store.

I just wanted to buy a gift card. When I went to check out, the cashier insisted that I had to pay with cash or debit, no credit card! I explained that I had just bought some at another Food Lion with a credit card and she said they might have a different policy.So I cancelled my whole purchase and will go to Harris Teeter tomorrow. Besides, I will earn fuel perks from HT😀 for my purchases.Never going to this food lion again.

Betty the cashier was extra friendly. She opened the express lane for us even though we had more items. Customer service at its best.

When an item I wished to purchase was sold out, a sales associate/stock clerk was quite willing to check the stockroom for excess product which had not been shelved. When the associate discovered that there was no backstock, he learned when more product was scheduled to arrive and relayed that information to me.

I liks this store you save alot of money if you have a MVP card and sign up for digital coupons. Who doesnt love that? The produce department is kept cool so you know its fresh. They always have a great sale $$.

Didnt have a problem with finding anything our prices but when i went today and got to the checkout line it was going slow. I realized that the cashier and the bagger were friends and were chit chatting more than working. 2 little teenage girls.

I shop here frequently and the employees are always so friendly, rarely a line at check out and the shelves are always well stocked!

So, in the time that they have been open, i bought two packs of meat. When i got home and open them the meat were bad. I got a gallon of milk. When i got home, i realized it was expired. No luck at this new store. A female manager was not very approachable. I am surprise that being a new store things are not at its best. I rather drive further to the older store.

Awesome shopping experience, the store Manger and assistant Manger are very nice people and are always speaking to every customer they see! Customer service Manger is very nice and I really love the cashier miss Sharon!!!

This food lion is good... the one down 70 in Smithfield is nicer and has way less traffic.

The elderly lady in the deli always makes me feel like Im inconveniencing her. She is downright rude.

35 years coming here, if you want the best ribeye in NC, ask Michael to cut you 1 like he does for Gerald. If your worried about price, dont ask. G.😒.

This is where I go instead of Walmart. Much better food selection, much friendlier service. My biggest preference, items are easier to find and no hassle shopping over Walmart. I would drive further to use Food Lion. And I cant tell much difference money wise except I sometimes buy things I like but dont need.

I really love to shop at my local Food Lion. They are always helpful and will even look in back for different stock for me.

The new store is really pretty and clean looking (as new stores tend to be) but I had the unpleasant experience of checking out with Sharon. Sharon was very cranky, stern, and mean spirited. She was also impatient, although it took her long enough to do her end.

Most nasty and direspecful Customer service I have ever received. Rented a Rug Doc from this location and when returning it back Marleen in customer service was who received it and said she could not except it unless it was cleaned. We cleaned out the machine before returning it and needless to say I was charged a $15 cleaning fee when I first got it and refundable when returned in clean condition. She claims that the bottom brush wad still filled with hair and made some very disrespectful comments and started throwing stuff around and said now we need to pay someone to clean it. I told her you can keep the $15 fee and isnt thats what is for?Then she continued to run her mouth...Wow Food Lion what kind of customer service. Never again will I visit this location!

All was fine here, just packed with folks due to it being Christmas Eve. Plenty of stock on hand, so there was no shortages.
