To expensive.... they had the best pot pies but over night they went from $5 to $6. Everything in safeway is over priced.

I enjoy coming to this Safeway. Pretty good customer service. Produce if usually fresh. Also, the blond lady (Ill make sure to get her name next time) in the floral section always does nice bouquets for me and now I refuse to go to anyone else.

I live in Pittsburg, but drive past that Safeway to go to Clayton. Much nicer, cleaner and a smoother shopping experience. But Safeway pricing is not the best.

Everytime I go to this Safeway its always a long wait to check out they need more cashiers . Walgreens, cvs, and Luckys dont have this problem.

Burnt items in the bakery section. Bakery workers not wearing masks. All other workers including deli wore masks. Don’t know the rules but it would definitely be more sanitary.

Been a handleful of times, and its generally the best stocked Safeway in the area. However, the floral department typically breaks my flowers and just doesnt say anything, presumably in hopes I wont say anything, and the people working the bakery department are always super rude, to me, other customers, and eachother. Cashiers here are nicer than at other nearby locations though.

Clayton Safeway is the best around here. Always super clean and staff knowlegable and courteous. There is no comparison with this store and the Bay Point Safeway... I will drive the extra miles to a clean well stocked and ordered store.

We didnt even make a purchase. The Meats were no where near the quality at other Safeways. The store was actually dirty! Dust! Never seen anything like it. Never going there again

Nice and clean. If there are stuff you need to by from weekly AD, always go on the first 3 days, otherwise, most likely you wont be able to buy because they dont stock often and always sold out.

Safeways prices have gone up like most everything recently. But Safeways prices are a little higher than some of their competitors. And the parking lot of this particular location can be more crowded than their closest competitor.

Friendly staff who actually wore their mask correctly (compared to Raleys thats a HUGE difference) & they had what I needed. Nice Safeway.

This store always seems to be well stocked with items. The employees are friendly.

Very friendly Deli staff, I started coming here for lunch and they give me 3-4 chicken tenders every time I come :) There’s a grumpy lady at the Safeway on BayPoint that only tries to give you 1 or 2 pieces, last time I went there she made a scene so I always try to come to this Safeway despite it being a little out of the way.

Have not been to this store for quite some time. It is clean. As with all Safeway/Vons/Albertsons know your prices and shop the sales. Also they never gave me my game pieces.

I am not a fan of most major grocery chains anymore. I needed to get some green onions for dinner and didnt want to waste the gas going to an organic grocer in the opposite direction from home. The green onions (organic and regular) looked old, the green parts were limp, the bunches were small, and some of the white tips were growing out. Seriously, we cant do better than this? Then of course there was the long wait in line and a crowded parking lot.

Always enjoy this Safeway. People are friendly, always has what Im looking for.

It was not too crowded, there were good offers for the Super Bowl and I found all I was looking for!I thought it was going to be crowded and slow, but it was definitely a great experience!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The store requires masks and has designated “one way” aisles. The cashiers wear gloves and clean the register area after each customer. They will give you bags, but if you bring your own, you have to bag your own groceries. Stay safe, everyone!

This neighborhood store is very good. It is pleasant to shop at this Safeway store. I would recommend it.

Employees are willing to help you, very polite and professional at there jobs, the place is always kept up nice and clean everybody doing there work, but most of all, willing to serve customers during hard times with Coronavirus, from the bottom of my heart,thank you! . The best Safeway unless you need to fill a prescription in a rush because its slow and not so nice, otherwise great deli, nice workers, clean bathroom, the Safeway is self rocks.

The staff members at this Safeway are fast friendly and diligent.

Went to subway. Hours say open but theyre closed. So we go to Safeway.Such a HUGE language barrier, that my boyfriend couldnt even get past the bread preference part of making a sandwich, before we gave up and left. My boyfriend speaks some Spanish and even that wasnt helpful enough. Guess no sandwiches for us today.

THE friggin best Safeway EVER!! The staff awesome, service great. Juan IS friggin great. Used to be 24 hours but since covid Im not sure. Any product this store sells IS top notch. Like Marina Safeway in the city. Outstanding.

Absolutely the worst customer service of any store I have been to in my life. Staffing is slim to none, registers are packed hourly, and employees are lackadaisical if not less. This store makes bank and should do a better job of serving its customers. And I’ve lived less than a half mile from this store for over 17 years. Service continues to get worse and issues are never addressed.

For the first time I decided to order online delivery because I was in fix, my car was in repair and I needed groceries. I ordered delivery, selected time window for delivery for next day. I was not getting any updates, even after the day & time I was supposed to receive delivery cam and went so I did online chat. I was prompted by virtual assistant to get updates but I didn’t get anything. So next day I call toll free number and ask about my delivery. I am told that my order was canceled by the store without any explanation or notifying me. My method of payment was not an issue!! The store was supposed to call me or email me for canceling the order for whatever reason! This is my first time experience so I am never going to order again!

Like selection of products, friendless of stuff. Finally second entrance is reopen. Looking forward to see this store open 24 hrs/day

This place looks like hit or miss, merchandise all over the place, employees are looking forward to take a cigarette break. Karma will take care of it from your kin of kin.Karma will not hit you directly. It could be your parent, child or spouse. So be careful what you do to your neighbor

I like this Safeway because the staff is very friendly and helpful. Customer service is better than anyone I have been experiencing.The wine selection is also very good but if you ask for something specific they will more than likely get it. It was a great service and worth again.

Excellent Bakery in Friendly staff. They have a wider selection of the hot food items and most of them locations nearby. Its definitely worth stopping in to if you need a few things, and is the regular grocery store for most people in this area.

Nice clean store, good social distancing

This Safeway is great except the deli is horrible compared to any other Safeway in the area I love the Safeway deli but none of the workers seem to care about the sandwiches or their attitude. I used to love Safeway sandwiches but not from this place

I was at this store between 9-9:15 am Friday, 3/20/20. The checker who was an older lady on the express lane discriminated me. I had two loaves of bread which clearly stated 2/$4 and a package of bolilo bread to purchase. She told me there’s a limit of 1 bread only. I questioned her about the 2/$4 and willingly returned the two other packs of bread back to her and commented nicely “oh I have two kids”. She sarcastically commented back and said “I have 6 kids at home”. The lady behind me purchased 2 French bread and this checker allowed her to have both. I quickly went back to her and said sarcastically, “so can I get two of those French bread then. I don’t get it.” She could not look at me. I walked away angry. MAJOR DISCRIMINATION RIGHT THERE.

Since Albertsons bought this Safeway in Clayton The food,service, and cleanliness has really gone down hill. The meat department is the worst. Really tough meat, not much selection of good cuts, they even told me when I asked for Salmon steaks that they wouldn’t be carrying that anymore because Clayton people can’t afford it. Thay always had it before. Their steaks are an inferior type that are so tough. The hamburger taste very strange. They use to have a good meat department. Their deli has also gone in the dumps. Their produce isn’t as nice anymore either. I miss the old Safeway.

Great place everyone is nice. But at night it gets really busy and they only have 1 checker. The manager is a really nice guy!

I like this Safeway because the staff is very friendly and helpful. Customer service is better here than Walnut Creek. The wine selection is also very good outside of San Ramon but if you ask for something specific they will more than likely get it.

The floors and conveyed belts are filthy! I remember when this store was always spotless.

Lovely experience with the bakery here. All the staff were very nice. Needed a special cake in two days and it was beautiful. We were really happy with it. So with the people, the work they do, and the price, you cant go wrong!

Been shopping here for years. Love a lot of the products they sell. Definitely a little expensive but so are most places these days. Staff is friendly for the most part. Its also nice that their open 24/7

Much better selection of high quality products than the Treat location. Also, the top shelf is much lower, so no need to embarrass yourself and ask for a ladder/tall person.

My favorite Safeway in the area. Its big but not overly crowded and they always have what I need in stock. Parking lot is big. Wish I lived closer to this Safeway.

Always have what I need

Its a Safeway. A very nice, very white bread Safeway, in a very nice, very white bread neighborhood. I go there occasionally because they have a better selection of snooty organic ice creams than the ones closer to me. I wouldnt go out of my way to get there.

Crowded parking lot with lots of shops. This Safeway has a good variety of flowers, groceries, and bakery items. The self checkout is effecient and you can enter your phone number seamlessly. There was a wait in Bakery, but thats pretty normal. My shopping experience at this Safeway was good.

Typical Safeway store. Clean and well stocked . Most employees are very helpful especially the bakery and deli. Parking is horrible on a good day and worse on holidays. A very busy place.
