Great selection of salts. Even greater staff. The woman working was very helpful and I will be going back again!
Almost any spice you need or want. And you can buy just what you need. If you want to try a new recipe without buying 3 or 4 new jars of spices stop in here to get exactly what you need. Helpful staff of food nerds who love to talk shop.
Great selection of spices and blends. They even have a salt-free blends section, which is also great cause sometimes i dont feel like making my own chili powder. If you buy herbs i do recommend smelling them first as i stay away from the ones that smell old and like hay(thats the ol farm boy in me). They have a discount if you bring your spice bottles in to be refilled and they have bulk(8+ ounces) and military discounts. Ive been there many times and will continue going.
I am located quite far from town, but I really needed smoked sea salt for a recipe today. The closest Colonel De location to us is the one at Jungle Jims. I called the number listed for this location and apparently it connects you to the store at Findlay Market. I was told there is no way for me to reach the Jungle Jims location directly but that the woman who answered the phone at Findlay had a way to reach the other store herself. I explained how far out from town we are. She was nice and put me on hold while she personally called the Jungle Jims store to see if they had what I needed in stock so I didnt make the drive for no reason. She came back on the line and said they were too busy and werent able to tell her if they had what I needed. They told her to tell me to come in and check for myself. First of all, I am not making a one hour round trip drive just to find out if they have something when they should know their own stock. Second, what a horrible business practice!! I would have been fine waiting a few minutes longer on hold until they had a free moment to check. But instead a lazy staff member decided it would be better for me to waste an hour. I have been into this store location before, and they are unfriendly and unhelpful. Ill scrap todays recipe and I will go back to ordering my spices from The Tea and Spice Exchange (which I do HIGHLY recommend).
Great service and best seasonings available for just about anything you want to cook. Lots of great Thanksgiving ideas!
This place has hundreds of spices! The guy working there was really nice and knowledgeable about the products and able to help me find what I wanted (even tho I had no clue what it was called)
The young blonde young man that is usually there is WONDERFUL to drill with questions about spices and what they go with best!
