I had a great experience with Pure Granite & Stone. Angela listened to me and helped me get the perfect quartz in my perfect price point. Ray braved a downpour to measure. Chris and Logan were cheerful even when their day got long as we were their last stop on install day. Chris made the most perfect seam! The team found a solution to a problem and we ended up receiving a bigger sink on the house. These people are good people! I can happily recommend this company!

Just had Pure Granite and Stone install Granite in the kitchen and 3 bathrooms in our new home. There work and product was outstanding. They are one of the only contractors we’ve dealt with that was a pleasure to deal with start to finish and followed up on everything the said they would. I would highly recommend them.Bruce Eden

We paid this company to have tile installed. The first tile guy they sent out would come after working all day and work for about hour or so in evening on random days. Immediately we felt this guy was in over his head and began calling Pure let them know how bad the job was going. They blew us off and kept making excuses. The installer would put up tile that was uneven or wouldn’t line up right and have to take it back down and replace it multiple times. At our cost... we had to purchase new tile multiple times due to this. After continual complaints the company sent out a new installer who “finished” the work. This person grouted tile before we were able to look at it despite us saying not to. Then packed her stuff and was out before we could see it. The job was horrible. Grout all over kitchen cabinets and several places in tile needed further grout work. Plus part of tile completely not lined up and looks awful. Entire bottom row of tile pieced together. Main corners pieced together as well. We had to find a new tile installer and pay additional money for her to fix/finish the job. In addition to money we paid Pure, we were out over 1000$ and still have to pay to have one section completely redone bc it isn’t fixable. We just don’t have the extra funds after the extra we paid. Now Pure is sending us a bill and threatening a lien bc THEY incorrectly billed for sink. Plus they have added almost 400$ of addition money for something their tile person ordered that we did NOT receive or use! We just want to work something out bc we are already out so much additional money bc of horrible job they did to begin with and despite multiple calls, we seem to be getting nowhere.

Let me elaborate on the post below. Pure Granite and Stone did improperly bill us for the counter install or the lack of the sink addition. I wrote the check for the amount that was due upon completion. Was not aware that all charges and or addition of the sink was not on the invoice. We will gladly pay for sink I wanted to work this out. However the tile job took almost 4 weeks. The installer was coming from a 2nd job and was exhausted and he called company several times for help and he did not get it. Installer did not know exactly the scope or how to install the tile that was picked out . The installer had no idea how to to install a picture frame around a window with a Schluter, I thought it was a good solution but ended up not knowing how to install it. We came up with a pencil molding which looked better then the Schluter edge over all. The pictures that I have attached is actually the completed project, cabinets left a mess and grout and even the adhesive was left on all the tile. I few things that I had asked for was for the project manager and owner to come out and see for themselves to see the terrible work, that clearly did not happen. They were aware of the tile we had chosen and the complexity of it. No guide lines or chalk lines were used. The one picture shows why we wanted it redone and for the matter Pures management would want to make it right. When said project was completed(pictures attached) we hired some one else to fix all the detail work that they could not do or simply thought it was acceptable. Hence the the reason we did not want to pay for the rest. We bought the counter and tile work at the same time. They had it under 2 different work orders We did not want to give them another dime after the terrible work that was done. yes we are all not perfect(sounds like an excuse), however when I hire and expert in the matter I expect better work then the attached photos. The tile work was done less then 60 days ago and your going to put a lien on someone home for a 400 sink. ridiculous. Stick to Granite and Stone.The pictures that was posted in prior post was during the entire tile install and how terrible it was along the way. This could have been prevented and done much better with better communication from the company that are the experts of this work.Pictures do not lie. No matter what our responses to each other are. The 2 photos that you posted was at the body of the tile and an over all grainy photo, Does not show the detail work which in fact matters when you do a tile like this. The 4th picture in, is the up close of the picture that Pure posted.

Overall I would recommend Pure Granite & Stone. They did a solid job and it looks nice. I am disappointed in one of the corners because it was supposed to be a bigger radius than what it is. They even took my template I made and said they would call if they had any questions. We were also told that if we needed support brackets that the measurer would tell us when he came to measure. He did not tell us we needed brackets so I didnt think we did until the installers came today and said we do and its an additional $100. The installers did a great job and It looks really nice, just not quite the wow factor I was hoping for.

PG&S was recommended by a family friend after we saw how amazing their kitchen looked. The showroom was very nice and helpful and the process was quick and easy. We have a ton of experience in builds and remodels using many vendors in several states.. and they are the best vendor that we have ever used for granite and stone counters.. today they were hear installing new bath counters in a few of our bathrooms in our personal home.. had them do a kitchen in an investment property last year in quartz, and also had them do my nieces home kitchen in quartz and a built in desk in granite for an office this year as a gift.. Very impressed with them and they promise and fulfill 7 day turn time for cut and finish after measure and then install so maybe 10 days at most.. Gorgeous work and great pricing. Awesome people!

BEWARE! DO NOT SHOP HERE!I visited Pure Granite and Stone and found the perfect slabs(3) of quartzite for my newly remodeled kitchen. “A” (sales associate) wrote up the estimate, which included tear-out and haul-away in the total. Based on my measurements, it was questionable whether one slab would be sufficient to do the job and I expressed this concern.Day 1:”J” informed me that according to the owner I needed to pay an additional $1000.00 to have the existing backsplash removed and hauled away. I called “D” (cust. Serv. Mgr.)because my understanding was that the total tear-out was included in “A’s” estimate. “J” said to pay the $1000.00 or I would have to tear it out myself, and that he was caught in the middle. “J” and “M” said they would come back the next day to tear out the backsplash on their own as a side job that had to be kept from the owner.That night I got a call from “D” apologizing profusely for the lack of communication regarding the backsplash and the discrepancy over the additional $1000.00 charge. He said that he was so upset at the lack of customer service that he was allowed by the owner to provide me.Day 2: As “M” was cutting the holes for the electrical outlets in the backsplash pieces, he managed to damage BOTH by making incorrect cuts that would extend beyond the outlet covers. He told me not to worry because the other slabs were at the shop, and that the backsplashes would be redone. I was reassured and I know that everyone makes mistakes.The project was delayed by an ENTIRE week, during which I was not able to use my kitchen. On Monday, when I asked about the delay I was given the LAST appointment on Friday afternoon with a 2-3:30 arrival window. “J” arrived after 4 pm. They brought in the same damaged backsplash slabs. When I asked what was going on!?, “J” said he was told to just install them and that “M’s” solution was to use JUMBO outlet covers, which meant I could not use the custom outlet covers I planned on using. When I questioned why the backsplashes weren’t re-done using the extra slabs, it turned out that they both had been sold before it was determined whether one would be needed to complete my project.During the installation process, “J” had to trim the top edges of both slabs to get them to fit. That left large gaps between the top of the backsplashes and the upper cabinets. These are immediately noticeable on entering the kitchen, and will require an additional expense to be fixed. Even with the JUMBO outlet cover, the damage is still visible. “J” was obviously in a hurry as it was late Friday evening. He did a shoddy job on the seam in one of the backsplashes. As an installer and someone who does this for a living, in good conscience, I would have hoped he could not have left the job like. I was not consulted regarding the location of that seam, it was not color matched like the other seam was, and I certainly would not have ever put a seam where they chose to. It is extremely obtrusive to the eye.I spoke with “D” about possible remedies for these issues. He offered to assess the situation in person. But the next day he said he would not do that. He instead told me to text the photos to him and he would get back to me. I sent them over thinking that after he had seen the photos he would try and work towards a solution and would understand what I was going through. But instead he said the photos the guys took are “beautiful” (but they were taken at a favorable angle so as to avoid showing the gaps) and that he was told to tell me this was “industry standard.” If I had known that was “industry standard” I never would have gone with that type of backsplash, and certainly not with Pure Granite and Stone. When I asked if there was a way to resolve the situation, his last word to me was “NO.”Not once did the owner of this small business reach out to me, which in my opinion is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.The only silver lining in this whole fiasco is that I accidentally filled out my second check incorrectly, shorting them $300.

In response: if thats the case, you shouldnt take thousands of dollars in a deposit based on sketches. You should charge a template fee and then take a deposit once you know exactly the square footage of the job.I came in with a general drawing of my space, but I am not a contractor. I should not have to select a different color because of supply chain shortages; as a business, you should have refunded my money. As a small business owner myself I find this back and forth appalling and tell everyone I know not to shop here._____I received a quote for a granite install for my kitchen (~90 square feet) with a specific granite color. I called the company about a week after viewing the slabs at Pure Granite to put my $4,200 deposit down over the phone - I was under the impression I was receiving the stone I saw when I received the quote, and the color was specified on the quote I received. Someone from the company came out to template our kitchen within a week or so. No issues there, although I did find it odd that he templated my kitchen with cardboard cutouts and a hot glue gun.After the template was complete, they sent me to the warehouse to see my slabs. I was under the impression I was receiving the slab I saw in store, as nobody bothered to tell me otherwise, but didnt think much of it. When I arrived at the warehouse the slabs they had for me were completely different than what I saw when I received my initial quote, and to add insult to injury, they only had two slabs of that color in stock when my job required three.I contacted the company and they were apologetic at first. When questioned about why I was shown a different slab than in store, they told me that slab was sold and even the same color granite can look different if its from different lots. Ok...so why did you take my deposit without first making sure I would be happy with the color? And why are you providing a quote based on a specific color when there are only two slabs of that color in stock?They sent me to five different warehouses trying to offer me a substitute stone. They texted me pictures of stones they could offer me instead. I didnt want a substitute stone, I wanted the granite I initially picked out.Five weeks go by and I still hadnt found another stone I liked, and the person I was working with stopped returning my calls or reaching out to me. I requested a refund. I was told numerous times the deposit was nonrefundable and they would not be giving me my money back, even though they could not deliver based on the terms of their contract. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company.Discover opened a dispute case for me and said if there was no response from the vendor within 30 days it would be found in my favor. I didnt hear anything for 4 weeks, but sure enough, they sent in documentation at the very last minute which caused Discover to deny my dispute.When I contacted Discover, they said Pure Granite sent in a contract, with my signature, showing the deposit was non-refundable, but it did NOT have any specific granite color on it! Funny, because both invoices I still have explicitly stated the granite color for my job. At no point would I EVER pay over $4,000 without any indication of what I was to receive for that money. My assumption is that Pure sent in a contract with the line item granite color whited out, because again, everything I ever received or signed had the color explicitly indicated, along with the square footage.I sent in my invoices to Discover and the dispute was finally found in my favor, 3 MONTHS after they had taken my deposit. Two morals of the story here: first, there are five hundred other granite companies/fabricators in the Cincinnati area. You can work with any of them. Secondly, if you do decide to have Pure complete your job, make sure you have your specific stone slabs on hold with the fabricator before you put your deposit down. Because apparently, they can take your deposit, sell your stone, and tell you youre out of luck because the deposit is non-refundable.

We recently worked with Pure Granite and Stone to get a countertop for our bar. They were very professional and easy to work with. We werent exactly sure what we wanted but Angela was helpful and offered some suggestions. The installation process great, the installers arrived on time and did a great job! We definitely recommend Pure Granite!

I filed a complaint against Pure Granite after giving them multiple opportunities to resolve their bad installation and damages they created in my home.The complaint was never resolved however I was able to get multiple contractors to attest to the horrible installation that Pure Granite did at my home. Their installers damaged multiple areas of drywall, my new cabinets and a brand new stainless dishwasher.Their president was awful to deal with, she lied to the BBB as well as the Attorney General and never once took ownership of what they did to my home. Their GM came to my home once and actually threatened my contractor after they challenged his constant denials of the damages.The only thing they paid for was a blind they damaged that was ripped, this was 6 1/2 high and they still managed to damage it.I have pictures of all the damages as well as the aforementioned attestations from other contractors.Pure Granite has a picture they took that cant be zoomed in closely to see the damages and they conveniently cropped out the window to the right with the blind damage.They did not call me about any of the damages, I found out everything when I got home from work and found even more once my contractors returned to the job and pointed out more in-depth issues, including how poorly the counter tops were installed.This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had dealing with any business. They simply do not care about the customer, they took my money and ran.My dream kitchen has been a nightmare due to this experience. The stress they added to my life is tremendous.There should be something less than one star to rate this business and their management.I would never recommend this business to anyone and hope that homeowners that are looking for counter tops steer clear and never have to go through what I did.1/23/20-updateThere have been several hundred views of my experience and a few have reached to me directly. Poor management and problem solving from Pure Granite & Stone. Purchased Quartz counters in Oct 2020. Installed Nov 2020. Wrong cut for sink, plumber had to return because they did not seal or secure the sink we purchased from them and did not secure dishwasher. Offered no solution for wrong sink cut even though they confirmed their error. Just told us they were sorry. Quartz Stone had several markings in it that looked like strap marks. Was difficult to get them to come back look and when they did come they used paper towels and barkeepers friend cleaner to try to rub out markings in the Quartz. They were non-responsive to offer solutions to the markings in the Quartz. I had to go back to the showroom in person to get help - they stated that the manufacturers warranty dept “might come look at it”. Got referral phone # to Manufacturers warranty department - there were helpful and did sent someone to look at Stone. Stated gloss was bad and most likely strap marks and ordered replacement stones. As of July 2021 we STILL DO NOT have replacement counters. Our kitchen tiling backsplash that was originally scheduled for the end of Nov 2020 has been put on hold and our kitchen is still unfinished. There has been ZERO contact from Pure Granite & Stone in which they have initiated. We have been more than patient knowing that covid has caused delays in everything. But a no point has this company showed any interest in even showing a little customer service or even help. A little effort would have gone a long way. Just a phone call or anything saying I know this is taking a long time but don’t worry we will make sure this is taken care of. We have never invested in a kitchen upgrade like this before ($8k). Instead this company treats any problem by avoidance which is definitely not ideal, because most problems can be worked through together to find solutions. I do not recommend this company as we are still awaiting the replacement countertops and have not heard from this company since April 2021 when we called them to check on installation/replacement.

Good products Competitive prices but very poor follow up if there is an issue after install. Wrong dishwasher bracket installed and not installed in correct position. Was told by service manager thats a plumbing problem not our problem.

Ordered a quartz counter for a vanity. Because I wanted to install myself, it was a cash purchase. Inconvenient, but I understand. Suspect the company gets stiffed by yahoos who can’t measure and overshoot their skill level. They indicated they would call me upon completion in 7-10 days. Did they call? Nope. Strike one. Picked up the top, looked fine and off I went on my 45 minute commute south. Get home and note the bowl isn’t centered in the cut-out and the caulk was slopped up a bit. Is it catastrophic? No, but for $750 I’m thinking my cash buy no return deal is slipping a bit. Strike two. Top fits nicely but upon placement of the purchased backsplash it didn’t fit. Very clearly the cuts were made based on the height of the backsplash and not length of either piece. Because this top fits in a corner when the backsplash pieces are placed on the surface there has to be a shortening of one of the backsplash pieces equal to the width of the quartz (1.25 inches) to make them fit. The drawing I approved indicated it was a corner placement and the top was chamfered properly so they should have known it wouldn’t work. Drive 45 minutes back to make this correction. Upon explaining the dilemma I was told they cut to my specifications and they followed them accurately. Technically, this is certainly true but I was never asked to specify those cuts because honestly, why would I want 1.25 inches hanging over the side of the cabinet? Really? They called me out on not giving that dimension. Ok, calm down. They made the cut right then, didn’t chamfer or polish this cut end and handed it back to me incomplete. Really? Ok, help a brother out and do it right...which they did but I had to come back another day (yep, another 45 minute commute). Strike three. So I’m thinking the dude in the back who originally cut this laughed out loud and knew this would blow up eventually. A simple call could have been made to verify my specifications on the backsplash. Oh wait...they don’t call.Will I go back?...no. Would I recommend...don’t care. My name is not Ky Yo...it’s Mike Ginnever for the record. Don’t want to appear to be hiding...

We had new countertops installed today by PureGranite & Stone. We are so pleased with how they look. They did everything they said they would do within the time frames they promised. The installers were very professional and friendly. The finished product looks amazing! I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for new countertops. Logan and Chris need raises.

Being new to renovations, I had no idea where to start looking for counters. This place had a large selection of full slabs and also remnants of granite. Never felt inclined to do a review for any service before until this time. We contracted Pure Granite and Stone to replace our kitchen countertops and backsplash. The service from purchasing to onsite measurement to installation could have been done within 2 weeks but I needed to push back 1 week. No problems. They took protective measures with the COVID issues, protected all of our floor surfaces and cleaned up as good or better when they arrived.We had special cuts for a particular look we requested and did a waterfall edge for our breakfast nook. The edge joints and seems were unnoticeable and the grain flowed through continuous from the top along the sides.I am considering remodeling our second bathroom and will not even shop around for pricing, they will have my work and recommendations to all of my friends who may consider this type of work.

Pure did an amazing job on our kitchen countertops. They were fast, extremely professional and great at communicating. After installation we found a small chip on the corner of the island. They came out within the week and fixed it perfectly. We would absolutely use them again!

I rarely write a review but am compelled to because of my great experience! It started when I first came into the showroom. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and I was greeted by the staff immediately. I had been to several other companies where I felt as if I was the invisible man.Although I did my research prior to coming in, I felt as if my salesperson did a great job of giving me insider insights. The installation crew were great! We had an issue with our cabinet that they were able or resolve on sight. It was a very efficient process and they did a great job cleaning up.It is without hesitation that I would recommend Pure Granite and Stone!MSD

Simply amazing-6 days from measurement to installation, 8 days from when we walked in the door. Stone is beautiful, work is high quality, and price is reasonable. Professional, knowledgeable and kind team, from the folks that helped us pick the stone to the on-site crews. We couldn’t be happier, and you won’t be disappointed.

Great Team of installers; made sure the stove was level, floors were cleaned, etc. they were easy to work with—fast, clean and professional. The counter tops look great!

Only issue I have is the communication. We received our countertops quickly but on our island there is an area that appears to almost have watermarks. I would not care about this blemish if it was in another area that did not catch so much light/reflection. It just appears to look like it needs wiped off. Pure granite did come and assess the blemish and said it will require polished out. I am not in any hurry but it would be nice to hear back from them of when this is supposed to happen. As a consumer you just feel like if you don’t call them they will just move onto the next job and never look back. Other than this they are friendly and speedy.

Absolutely love my new counter tops. Price was extremely competitive with other spots in town. Customer service was top notch. Their new showroom is looking awesome. GoCheck them out!

Upon a recommendation from a local business, my husband and I went to pick our slab from this business. I really liked the selection of remnants that they had and staff were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. There was a snafu with the installation, we realize that mistakes happen, but the back and forth between the staff and us was frustrating to say the LEAST! We were not satisfied with the way our bill was handled and I was so irate with the way the owner treated me and my husband when problems occurred throughout this whole mess...I have a very calm personality but this whole process was incredibly terrible and frustrating.Buyer beware!

Had my counter tops installed last evening . Stunning is the word that comes to mind. The three guys who worked tirelessly - Cliff, Robert and Darren, were professional, super efficient, kind, polite and so willing and went that extra mile to make me a happy customer . Angela was very informative about their products, and I was allowed to converse with the stone cutters to assure my Homeowner that we were getting superior service. Our vanity top turned out great, and my Homeowner was very pleased.

I’ve done over a dozen kitchens with them and I can honestly say they’ve done a fantastic job with each one. And most importantly, thwilling to put up with me when the project changes last minute.

We built a new custom home and went to Pure Granite and Stone for our kitchen countertops. Angela went above and beyond finding me the two granite slabs I wanted for our new kitchen. They Installed our countertops within one week of coming out to measure. This was the best and easiest experience we had with any of the vendors we dealt with during our build. I highly recommend them!!

Angela and her team really cared about me and the process and are very easy to work with. They were very fast, faster than I had actually expected. They had a huge selection and really helped me to understand what I needed and what would work best.

They started off nice and attentive. The manager was knowledgeable and helped us pick a remnant piece(s) as our kitchen is smaller. When we went back a week later to make the purchase, suddenly the 2 pieces would not look right together, per the mgr. Wouldnt she have known that the 1st time we were in? She didnt offer anything else; she basically walked away leaving us and one of her guys who fabricate wondering what to do next. Finally, we just left.

I love this spot and Im super glad I found it. Price was very fair and service was on point. Good company to work with. At least get a quote and see what you think.

These guys are awesome! They do beautiful work and their prices are reasonable. Ill use them again for future projects for both my home and investment property.

There were a couple of issues with the installation and one of the corners of my quartz. They responded quickly and took care of most of my concerns. I chose to not have them re-radius the chipped corner or further cut the edge of the counter to remove the chip but instead to have it sanded down and polished as-is. Its disappointing, but I think they did what they could, given the situation and my reluctance for a more drastic solution. To be fair, I believe they would have taken the whole top back to the shop and re-cut it to address my concern, but that made me more nervous than just leaving it as-is. The install crew was very polite and considerate. Thanks Cliff, James, and Brandon for being professional and caring about me as a customer.

Collections at ‘Pure granite and stone’ are extensive. Angela understood our needs around kitchen countertops quickly and guided us well to select right quartz. She doesn’t come off salesy, rather offered great suggestions.Installation team led by Robert was amazing. They were quite flexible in accommodating our schedule. Entire team was professional, courteous and completed work to our satisfaction quickly.Overall, our experience with Pure granite and stones was excellent. I highly recommend them for any of granite and stone needs.

Heard a lot of great things about the company from the different projects they have. My experience with the company has been wonderful! When I visited the store, Angela showed me multiple options and also provided me with a lot of information, that at first I did not even know I have to consider. At first, all I want is to replace my countertop with a nice quartz/granite. She showed me the different types of countertops and explained the difference between granite and quartz, and what colors would go with my current bathroom aesthetics. She made sure I am informed, and I ended up choosing quartz. That is what I like about the company, since many companies will not even take the time to educate you with what they are selling or their product, and Angela made sure as a customer I know what I am getting.I am extremely satisfied with the service. They were on time (even calls me to update that they are on their way to my house) with the measurements and installs and made sure that I am completely satisfied with no further questions before they leave. During the measurement, the employee even showed me the different finishes/cuts and explained everything I need to know. Overall, I am very pleased with the excellent service and also the follow-up after the fact if there are any issues, etc. Now, both of my bathroom looks amazing, more than I imagined it to be...and I will for sure use them in upgrading my kitchen.

Pure Granite was my fabricator for my new quartzite kitchen countertops. All of the staff I worked with were knowledgeable, friendly, professional, responsive, and helpful. They assisted in picking out the material and worked with Stone Mart to get the right slabs. They partnered with me on the design, came out to measure (twice!) and did an excellent job with the installation. The countertops are gorgeous - the highlight of the kitchen and maybe the whole house! Almost every visitor comments on their striking beauty.

The product and service here is fantastic! I ordered a small section of countertop from their inexpensive line of granite for a rental unit. The service provided by Pure Granite was above and beyond what I expected. From ordering, measuring, follow up, and installation everyone was friendly, prompt, and very detail minded. For even a small kitchen the installers took their time to make sure everything was perfect. I cant say enough about the quality of installation and the installation team. They are the type of people I would want working for and representing my company. The granite is absolutely beautiful and the service was simply perfect. I will be using this company again.

I went in on a Friday. My original written quote said that my countertop would be ready in 7 days (the following Friday). They emailed to delay pickup until Saturday (8 days after order), which was fine. I called Tuesday to double check. They promised me that it would be ready for pickup on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning, it was not ready. They would not call in the person who made the mistake and get him to cut the hole so that it would be ready on time. I will not use them again and will not recommend them to anyone else.
