This store is nutz the store has empty shelves all around the store probably 35 to 40 percent empty so theres a 50 50 chance they will even have what u need. Oh then theres outside parking lot where theres 3 to 5 people standing at the door with stuff they are selling this is by far the worst dollar store ive ever been to i only visit this store because its less than a mile from my house every other dollar store i go to is fully stocked with items on the shelf.

No frozen food, tried to call in advance to see if they did. I called several times the last being inside the store, phone doesnt ring in store. I spoke with Store manager and was informed work orders have been repeatedly put in about phone issue. Its just a shame what the consumers at this store have to go through.

Not enough stock on items staff employees wasnt helping just flirt with the customers.

This store is in a high demand area and really need help with inventory and stock. It really sucks going here,I have to drive to Northwood or Bond hill to get what I need. And very unfortunate that elders and other residents of the community have to pay uber, Lyft or other relatives to transport them to another store.

This location is absolutely AWFUL!!! I was charged more at the register than what was advertised on the shelf. When I told the cashier what the shelf price displayed, she acted as if Id said NOTHING. I then went to the back where the Acting Mng was, told him my issue, and he told me that their schematics were off. I then said So I HAVE TO PAY MORE Because YOURE Schematics are off? He responded Yes! Ill NEVER GO BACK THERE AND ITS A SHAME THAT Theyre, Family Dollar is doing THIS in an already low income area. SHAME OF ALL OF YOU!!!

I like the Avondale Family Dollar nice staff and great products.But the store can use a good cleaning and the shelfs can be better stocked other than that ok place to shop. I give them 89 percent

I think they should have a 3rd shift to stock the shelves so the employees dont have too throughout the day.

They are going through changes and it showed, except for the cashier, who waited on me. Everytime I get this particular cashier, the service is friendly, efficient and fast. This customer service representative makes my trip enjoyable

This particular store has their own made-up return policy that is contrary to their corporate policy. You should be able to receive a full refund within 30 days of purchase. The item should be refunded in the manner in which it was purchased. This store gives you a gift certificate if you return any item over $5. I purchased an umbrella for $6 using a debit card. On the way out, I saw a larger umbrella for $8. When I went to exchange the item they put the entire $6 + tax purchase on a gift card. No big deal since I was making another purchase for a larger amount. But not appropriate if you want your money returned in the method of purchase rather than having it tied up in a gift card. No return policy posted in the store or printed on receipt. Only coupons on the receipt. Buyer Beware.

The store is messy. The clients do not respect social distancing. The aisles are cluttered and dirty. The staff does the minimum.

Poor customer service, they don’t answer the phone if you have a question, and the lines are always long as if there’s not employees standing around talking to each other

I am one of the Assistant Store Managers at store #1403. I love Family Dollar because I meet hundreds of lovely people everyday. Reconnect with others I havent seen in a while. Family Dollar has become more than a job to me, they are family. I shop, I talk, I even have a lot of laughs.

The worst customer service anywhere. You go in the store to purchase something you need and staff keep harassing you treating you like a criminal not because of the location, but because theyre downright disrespectful. I will never return.

Customer service is horrible! Store is usually poorly stocked and frequently runs out of shopping bags! Employees regularly shout profanity. I have, on more than one occasion, stood in a checkout line of about 20 customers with only 1 of the 4 register stations open!
