Customer service is nonexistent, I was waiting patiently for 20 minutes trying to get a hold of the store. I called back 2 hours later in the day, still received no help just rang till I reached the voicemail.

A good selection of DS games which you never see anymore.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life. It’s been like that for years at this location whoever is giving this place more than one star must run into the one employee there that actually knows what they’re doing

I lost everything someone got me a PS3 but I went in to the store I asked if there was any rated t games when I ask he had an adtude with me and give me a dirty way and spoke to me rudely

I love GameStop but the lady waiting on me here wouldnt just focus on me and what I wanted. She needed to be helping 3,4 people at once sometimes yelling across the store. Very frustrating!

The guys in this store were amazing! Not only did they go above and beyond for me in finding me great deals but they madr sure i got the very last black friday ps4 after my hunt at 3 other locations!! I wish i had got the blonde guys name (manager) to give him a great big shout out on his excellent guest service skills and selling techniques......hes truly an asset to the company!! The other guys name was chris, (found it on my receipts) he not only has super patience with unorganized customers like myself this day but he answered every question i could possibly have about the purchases i made and then some! 2 great guys at this location who are eager to help and happy to assist!!

Great location and folks working here. Compared to other locations I have been, this is a good one for parents who are not super informed about games and dont feel like being talked down to by a video game expert when I ask a stupid question.Would reccomend!

They didnt have what I wanted but the guy did check the other locations to see if the had game available for me so I thought that was kind of him

I have been loyal to gamestop for years & I have been putting off using game downloads because I want to support them.The same guy has been so unfriendly & rude to me on multiple occasions. Today was the last straw when I went to go pick up my pre-ordered TLOU2.

Stay away use amazon they confirm your order take your money cancel the order and hold your money up for days!!! They double charged me now no reply to e- mails they dont answer keep you on hold for hours to hang up on you!!! Use Amazon youll even save money

Came here ready to spend $400+ on a new console w/ games. The guy working had a few friends hanging out in store and was too busy talking to acknowledge his only customer. I waited several minutes for a break in their conversation but he wouldnt even make eye contact even with me standing right in front of him. I would have said something but losing a sale seemed more effective. This store used to be great but has unfortunately gone way downhill.

Is a primo place to get your games. Staff is great to talk to. Spent more than one of my midnights there for big releases, so they are good company. Perks of working somewhere fun, I guess.

Best gamestop in the city. Over the years theyve ALWAYS had the games Im looking for when other locations in the city did not.

The sales associate was so patient and informative with a 40+ yr old lady with a 5yr old...you ROCK, umm is you rock, good slang these days??? I meant it in a good way...LoL

Get with Jason to help you choose stuff that not only you will enjoy, but also something that perfectly fits your budget. This is hands down the BEST gamestop in Cincinnati. The employees are fantastic, and even manage to thoughroughly help you despite them being insanely busy. I had a great experience here and from now on, I am only going to this store to buy games because nowhere else compares.

I have been a great customer to the Gamestop for years. I bought at least 4 game systems and been to countless midnight game releases, all at the same Rookwood commons Gamestop. It has always been great place to shop. However, recently with all the new staff theyve hired, I cant help but feel let down by the quality of the Gamestop that Ive always loved since a kid.Yesterday I went to see what I could get for a 250GB Xbox 360. After waiting in line for about twenty minutes being behind only one customer, who walked out with what he wanted, I still felt confident that I would get a great experience just as the days of old.Contrary to that belief, I got about 15 minutes of the employees trying to get their tv to work followed by 5 minutes of telling me their sorry but they cant help me and that they would leave a note to the manager requesting to give me some sort of discount for wasting so much of my time.So although a little frustrated, I still had faith. Faith that I would walk in today and be greeted and treated fairly in correspondence to all the precious time I wasted in an effort to do nothing more but is what is at the core of Gamestop’s marketing plan; Buy, Sell, and Trade.Things didnt quite go that way, however. Today, I walked in and told the worker, who had a dismissive and defensive aura about him as I walked through the door, that I left my name with the crew last night and that I was interested in seeing how much they would be willing to give me for my xbox.He immediately told me there was nothing he could do about getting a discount toward in store credit and didnt even express any empathy toward the situation they put me in. After he disrespected my valuable time he proceeded to tell me that my Xbox was in terrible condition and they could only give me thirteen dollars for it.This felt like a spit in the face after knocking me to the ground. I have a great Xbox. Its about 3 or 4 years old and though it does have a bit of dust, It works and processes just as good as any 250GB Xbox 360 you would put it up against. I just brought it in last month and a different worker told me that if I brought in in with an AV cord, they would be able to give me 50$ in store credit for the SAME QUALITY console.Rookwood Gamestop used to be great. There was a time where you could go in, discuss your favorite games and feel such anticipation about returning and doing the same thing again. Although you would feel let down by some of the prices they would be willing to offer for trade ins, they still felt semi reasonable. Everybody was genuine and had the same passion about gaming as the customer.Now Rookwood Gamestop is a shell of itself. Led by a guy who cares nothing about the comradery of gamers. Who seems to not feel anything about his job. Who is there for only for a pay check. Who is only allied by workers that dont seem to know what theyre doing, though at least are enthusiastic about gaming, unlike their leadership.I hope that this place can return to its glory days of a couple years ago, but until then I dont recommend anyone buying and ESPECIALLY trading in anything to this Gamestop. They dont care about you. Only there because they have to be. Go either online or elsewhere.
