After shopping in and around major cities in Indiana we visited The Rug Gallery. Robin understood exactly what we did and did not want and patiently displayed rugs that met our criteria. Had another great experience working with Robin at The Rug Gallery. I have bought many rugs from this store over the years. Even though we moved away from the area, I called Robin because of the terrific selection of non-wool (needed due to allergies) rugs that this store carries. Robin is very knowledgeable of the store’s rug assortment. She sent me many detailed pictures, answered my many questions about color (not always easy to see in a picture) and listened well to my wishes regarding style giving me the comfort that the rug I was choosing would look good and fit well in our family room. Since the rug was being shipped out of state, Robin also made sure that the rug was packaged carefully. Our rug arrived a couple of days later in perfect condition. Robin, You made shopping for a rug from a distance, a pleasure!

Our first time at The Rug Gallery and we will never go anywhere else when shopping for area rugs. Dave was fantastic to work with and was so helpful. He listened to what we were after and showed us many options that he thought we would be interested in. He helped us with pattern choices and we ended up with a rug that we absolutely love. Unlike other places, they will get rugs down on the floor for you where you can actually see them. The quality of the rug was exceptional - nice thickness, very soft and the price was reasonable. A little more expensive than ordering online or big box stores, but there is no comparison in the quality - you get what you pay for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for area rugs!

I hesitated to walk into Rug Gallery because I thought all that they carried were super high end area rugs. But I was getting discouraged going through the normal run of carpet stores, so I popped in. Im really glad I did. I had rather specific needs for a really tough carpet for my family room and playroom. Robin showed me several ideas, but called me back later with a solution from a customizing company. I really appreciated the time and thoughtfulness she took in suggesting a style, and then the color (from thousands of options). I am so pleased with the subtle color on this low-pile plush. Installers Jessie and Clint did a great job--especially with a long multi-shaped step down into the family room.

We worked with Robin to find the right area rug for our newly remodeled family room. She was great. Very patient, listened to us, showed us plenty of options. It went so well we also purchased a new rug for our dining room too. We are repeat customers and know its not worth it to try anywhere else when you can get this kind of service, product and price. Great selection of carpeting and rugs. We had carpeting in three bedrooms and a staircase installed and could not be happier with the result. Dave was very helpful in the process and everything was completed in a timely and professional manner.

The Rug Gallery redid our entire upstairs carpet and installed a stairway runner for our home. The staff really went above and beyond to consult, helping us to select the perfect style for our family. The installation process was extremely efficient, the team was very professional. I went to the store not knowing what to expect. The receptionist called a salesperson, Cathy, and she was very helpful. I told her what color I was looking for and she showed me several hanging rugs. She offered to put them on the floor so I could get a better idea of the size and colors. I couldnt decide that day so I said I would be back. I returned a week later but could not remember the ladys name, Cathy, that helped me. The receptionist called out all the the salesperson until Cathy appeared. I remembered her face and she remembered me. She preceded to show me the rugs we had previously viewed, I chose a rug and she called some to load it in my car. All of the salespersons were friendly and not offended that I wanted Cathy to help me. This was a GREAT experience. No one was pushy. Everyone was friendly and I will be back. Great job!

Every time I walk into the rug gallery I am amazed at the diverse selection and the knowledge of the staff! If you are looking for the perfect rug do not hesitate to go to the rug gallery, you will not be disappointed!

Our puppy crapped on and chewed the corner off of our brand new very expensive (light blue) rug.... Robin at the rug gallery couldn’t guarantee the stain come out completely.... which it did not after being cleaned.... Without us asking, she had it cleaned a second time (at no extra cost) and was able to remove the stains completely!! If that’s not enough, they were able to fix the the area where Otis chewed it... without knowing what happened, one would be hard pressed to find anything out of sorts. Robin saved this 5k rug. We highly recommend her and the rug gallery for superior service and technical abilities! Otis is & has since been house trained.....

STOP LOOKING ONLINE AND GO HERE! Make sure you stop here before purchasing a rug for your home and ask for Cathy! I looked all over the place (Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Williams Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn, etc.) and couldnt find anything that I liked that was also good quality once I saw it in person. My mom suggested that I stop in The Rug Gallery and told me specifically to ask for Cathy because she has helped her so many times in the past. Cathy was such a pleasure to work with. She listened to me and showed me products in my budget that she thought would work from what I had told her. I was able to take 3 rugs home to see how they looked in my home before purchasing. Where else can you do that without a paying a restocking fee or freight charges? Save yourself a lot a time and frustration and just start here when youre ready to invest in a rug.

I have spoken a lot with the owner, Sam Presnell, and he is one of the most genuine and honest people I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable about oriental rugs, and wont steer you wrong. Just talk to him and youll see the difference between The Rug Gallery and some of those other rug stores that are constantly having going out of business sales and then somehow always sticking around. A true professional.
