I go there like once a week to get their delicious Cuban sandwich. There meat prices are a bit expensive but you get good quality.

My family recently moved here from Western Hills where we got all our meat from Humberts butchers for a decade. I wanted to continue patronizing a local butcher and found Holzmans. We have gotten two weekly orders from them and won’t be going back. The prices are truly outrageous. I expect to pay a premium for butcher quality meat, but they are over double other butchers. Paying over $10 a pound for ground chuck or chicken breast is absolutely crazy. They don’t have prices posted online or in their flyer and due to pandemic guidelines, it is curbside pickup only, so you don’t know the prices prior to ordering/pickup. I won’t be going back.

They treat everyone like family and their food is always fresh and oh so 👍

1st time customer today. I had there Chicken Salad BLT for lunch.Was the best Chicken Salad sandwich Ive ever had.The staff was very polite and the service was even better.Will most def visit this again

I am so done with this place. I pay butcher shop prices for quality and service. This place offers neither. Holzmans should be ashamed of the chicken salad sold to me today.I switched to Lehrs Prime anyway (spent $150 there for a get-together Saturday), but had a weak moment today when I was nearby Holzmans & wanted some quick chicken salad. Big mistake. News flash, Holzmans, customers expect real chunks of chicken in their overpriced chicken salad.Try calling them to complain? Thats a joke. Their voicemail message says dont leave a message we dont listen to them.You can get better service but you cant pay more. Go to Lehrs instead.

We love eating out. Yesterday we came to this fine restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a lovely evening there with great cooking and an efficient stuff and an impressive cuisine. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall no doubt go again soon. We deeply recommend.

I love this place! Their steaks always look perfect, they have a great selection of local beers and all kinds of local products! If you shop in the summer dont pass up on the local tomatoes!!

Was going to the shop for the first time and checked the website...no mention of a No contact rule I think that is a good way to protect yourselves but it should have been on the website because I made a 30 minute trip to try they products on a recommendation. The star is for lack of communication...not safety policy

They have some of the freshest and best tasting meets and sandwhiches. Great quality.

This spot clearly knows how to satisfy their clients. Consistently with a super friendly mindset. The food is fairly priced, constantly delicious and clean.

Went to buy porterhouse steaks... Get them home and realized I paid for porterhouse steaks but only got tbones. The filet was cut off... Disappointing...

Everything we get here is great! We often go here for lunch, they have great food and a large selection of choices. The service is slower than you would like but it is well worth the wait.

Just picked up holiday Christmas lunch for our employees at McCabe.Guys and gals at Holzmans do such a great job and are so awesome to work with. I would recommend their deli as a #1 choice for everyday and holiday needs.

A bit pricey, but great selection and quality. Best ham salad in the city, hands down. We call it sandwich spread where I come from.

Cant recommend highly enough. Fantastic marbling in the steaks, which is important if you know what you should be looking for in your beef. Price is more than fair for the quality of meat you are getting. If you want to impress your guests, or your own palate, get your meat here.

There is not a better meat market in the city. The quality of the steaks is better than most of the top steak houses in the city. The chicken is tender, and very tasty, and make sure you buy the ribs for your next grill out. Best chicken salad and tuna salad, and yes if you want great fresh Salmon, give it try, youll be ordering it weekly.Im a fussy foodie and a big fan!

The food is really, really good. I love the deli and it is reasonably priced. My staff and I would come there a lot more often, but the staff looks like they hate life. They always seem upset when I go in and can be borderline rude. If that doesnt bother you, then try the food, it is good!

Cant tell if this place is racist or just rude. Often times racist owners of stores will just be rude yet still serve you in an effort to prevent you from coming back. The very first interaction to the last with an older gentleman was filled with hate. It was the first time Ive been there and the last. Which is a real shame, I strive to patron local small businesses to help support our own against big businesses and national chains.

Really $34 per pound for fillet?... It had to be a typo. The meat did look fresh and good but if I want to pay almost double market value ill go to a resturant.

First time in after hearing great things about this place on FB. The meats are quality. In fact the rib eye steaks we purchased were among the best Ive ever cooked. I have no doubt all their meats are of the same high quality. As would be expected, with quality comes cost. You get what you pay for here and lets just say you shouldnt expect supermarket prices. Now for the not so good... I docked a star for AWFUL customer service. The older gentleman behind the counter really shouldnt be helping customers. Reminded me a little of the soup nazi episode on Seinfeld. Know what you want, speak loudly, and get the hell out. If it wasnt for the quality of the meat, Id have knocked a couple more stars off this review. Youve been warned.

Holzmans meats has been my sole butcher for 10+ years--110% always great steaks, great meats and fantastic options in the deli. Ron, Greg, Roger and team are there to serve their customers in the best fashion possible. I have also used Holzmans for catering private events/providing the food and it has absolutely never disappointed. I drive by at least 2 other butchers when I go to Holzmans due to their quality. Look how busy this shop is everyday and how long they have been in operation----these days, that tells you everything you need to know about Holzmans Meats!!!

Very poor customer service. Was never acknowledged, stood at counter for 2 minutes after walking around for 5. If a client is going to spend 30 bucks a pound for meat, perhaps simply saying hi is something you can work on. I will never come back, nice job.
