Same situation as Glen. Hired to handle an installation in Nashville, permitted and completed the project as contracted. Over a year later no payment, no effort to respond. Tony Maier who has since opened AE Sign & Lighting was the PM. Understand this has been a difficult time for all of us but failure to respond is just bad business. Advise for any other companies they are pursuing to avoid or obtain payment in advance.
I can relate to review below but from a customer perspective. Anthony Maier, whos the owner of this company not only screwed over customers but contractors. We made a 50% deposit to have United Maier make a us a sign but in the process I was told that United Maier was filing for bankruptcy. Ive since been asking for my deposit back but no reply. They went and opened AE Sign & Lighting. Please do not do business with these guys.
I am a sign business owner in NH. We were contacted by Clara England from this company. They asked us to perform a survey for a business, Exel in Bow, NH. We performed the survey in the time frame that we discussed. Now, since we have spent our time doing the survey for them, they are not answering phone calls or emails for payment. I would express to any of this companies new customers and subcontractors,, to be aware of the dealings of United-Maier, and how they use people.
