I’ve used them twice now for repairs on accidents and it’s always been a great experience. They’re very good at going over everything with you and kept in communication the whole time my car was being worked on. Very nice employees. Both my cars looked amazing when they were done!

Ive used Carstar / Center City over a number of years and in the past had one or two issues but nothing ever really bad. I recently gave them another go after being in a collision with my 2017 GTI. Front Bumper, front driver side door, fender and mirror.My main issue is that while the end result was just ok, they tried to give it back to me twice with fitment issues, they were not just partially noticeable, they were glaringly noticeable, as well as this when they gave it back the final time it had a paint chip on the edge of the brand new recently painted door.I dont know if its a QC issue but the lady at the counter said that cars never look the same after an accident.... and this is the only job that carstar does. I have to take it back for partial clearbra that they didnt finish, I had asked them that they be responsible for a rental car this time (since this wasnt done in the initial 4 weeks they had it. Ill do a follow up after this.

After reading many positive reviews, I decided to take my car to CARSTAR in Norwood. Its close to home so I made an appointment to stop by for a estimate. My car had rear bumper and body damage after a recent car accident. I met with Reuban who went over the damages with me. He took my info and let me know he would email me a estimate within a few hours. I got my estimate and made an appointment to have the repairs done. Upon dropping off my car, Reuban let me know the final cost could increase if he found more damage once he took my car apart. Reuban gave me frequent updates throughout the repair process. I picked up my car yesterday and all I can say is....WOW!! 😮 My car looks BRAND NEW!If you need auto body work done by friendly, professional, and thorough staff, look no further! Kudos to everyone at CARSTAR on Montgomery Rd! They were professional, prompt and my car was ready when they promised it would be. Hopefully I won’t have to use them again but if I do, I’d definitely be a return customer!

The car beige leather interior was covered in a fine layer of grime with black smudges all over. There was clearly no attempt to keep the interior clean while working on it or after the repairs were completed. Im very disappointed in the lack of care for my property

My car was hit in a parking lot and Carstar in Norwood was recommended by multiple people. The insurance was slow to provide an estimate of what work would be covered, but Carstar was great. I forwarded the estimate pdf to them by email, they scheduled my shop visit for the next week after the parts arrived. I dropped the car off Monday and it was done by Thursday, the insurance paid for a rental car for those few days and the Enterprise on Ridge even offered to let me leave the car at Carstar and they would pick it up. Saved me a shuttle/Uber between the enterprise and the shop. Professional and courteous desk staff, car looks great!Car damage is awful, but Carstar made it best case scenario. Thanks!

They did the best they could with what was in front of them, their work was high quality and on time. They notified me of all the work being done. I met a few of the techs, they were knowledgeable and friendly.(seriously that’s rare) The not being able to go in the office was a bit annoying but it’s understandable bc of COVID. My car still had the paper mat in it and my interior was clean as well, so I know they take cleanliness seriously. The lines on the bumper are impeccable and the tire shine was a nice touch. Well done boys, that car is my baby and you did it right. 😁

Partnered with state farm to complete repairs on the rear door of an SUV... they took over a week but we had rental coverage. Were told to just drop off the rental to them and theyd return it which we did. They failed to inform us that the rental must be returned with a full tank of gas then proceeded to charge 9.99 a gallon to the tune of $140. We are leaving state farm and never using car star again. What a scamUpdate and response to owner: your employees told us they would take care of everything in returning the rental bc it also needed to be cleaned out. It was late on a friday so they were motivated but the $40 you offered to reimburse wouldve been more effective on the front end as Kroger gas is directly across the street and the car was filling up for less than $20. Now youve lost our business and possibly others.

Mike from Tire Discounters set up my appointment for the staff to look at my bumper that I had damaged. My car was looked at, then it was explained to me what was damage and what was necessary to be done vs. what was more of a cosmetic. They were extremely reassuring and even looked at my car and repaired a few screws and replaced a few for free. Amazing service.

The repair looks good but I am not at all happy with the way the insurance quote was handled. It was an accident repair and I chose to repair it because it’s an 11 year old car with 172k miles and am ready for a new vehicle. I was given a reasonable estimate that the insurance approved right away. I was called and said they found a busted piece underneath of a headlight which I pointed out looked out of place. Never was I given a price which lead me to believe it was unsustainable. I get back and the repair was almost 3X’s more...almost $5,000. I would have never made the repair. I’d have given it to a child who’s about to graduate college and put it as a down payment on a car that may have potentially needed a repair. I’ve been coming to this shop since it opened and with five children, I was one of original people who helped it grow. No matter how large you get you should not forget where you cane from. I feel ripped off. Very disappointed Kevin!

My experience with Carstar was exceptional. While I had to call for them to come out, because of Covid, they came out promptly each time - no waiting. I appreciate the safety measure. When I went to pick up my car the first time I was not satisfied with what I saw I immediately explained to the young lady that I was not satisfied with the work. She immediately said to me that your satisfaction is our number one priority and we will make the necessary Corrections. They finished my car a week before the quoted time, did a wonderful and seamless job, and my car looked NEW when I picked it up. Love the touch of inside and out car detailing upon return. Overall it was a great experience. There was some issue in scheduling to start but after that was worked out the repair was done very quickly. Received nightly updates on where they were in the repair process and the end result looked incredible.

I had a minor scuff from a fender bender, I called Carstar and spoke with James. He told me to come in and he would take a quick look at it to make sure there wasn’t any major damage beneath the bumper. I went in and James buffed our the scuff and it looks good as new, save a few scratches! Great customer service from these folks!

The company lied about when the car would be ready and then they offered me a free rental car. They denied the free rental and saying when it would be ready (I have it in email when they said it would be ready). They wouldnt give me updates on the car and pretty much told me to stop calling.So I went to Google to post about my experience, hoping it would encourage the company to make it right, and I pretty much got bullied by the owner John. To paraphrase he said he would not talk to me about my car until I took my original post down and Id be lucky if he helped me at all (I still have the voicemail from him saying this).Now that I have my car back they cant give me a hard time anymore so I am posting this. I went through my insurance to get the car repaired and I called them because I was so scared, I didnt know what John was going to do to my car, if even fix it at all. My insurance assured me that they will take care of the situation and not recommend this location ever again for their customers.After I called my insurance John offered to give me $50 off a rental car, he said that was his way of trying to make it right. Hardly worth the trouble. He made it clear he was also upset with me for calling my insurance about the situation. I have my car back and it seems fine. I do NOT recommend this place AT ALL. STAY AWAY.

My car was damaged on the drivers side from a hit and run. The scrapes on the panel, as well as a dent behind the passenger door.Their quality and style of work shows their professionalism and how much care is on the customers car. Their expertise in handling hidden damages shows detailing is not a problem. My car had a finish that made it look brand new!! The best body shop in Cincinnati! Worked with them a couple times now and they are great each and every time. They do fantastic work, my car looked brand new. No sign of any previous damage. They always clean it up and leave it shining.The customer service is some of the best I have ever dealt with. They kept me up to date on all the details and dealt with the insurance so that I wouldnt have to. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a body shop.

First experience with Center City and they did an excellent job. Communicated effectively with my insurance and rental car company whenever they needed additional time or supplemental approvals. Appreciated how quick they were to respond to my inquiries as well.The actual performance of the shop was great. They fixed a nice sized tear in my front bumper cover and lots of other scratching along the bumper. You can tell they actually care about their work/reputation as when the car was initially finished they requested more time because the paint wasnt matching quite enough to their liking. On the second try they got it just about perfect. Cant really complain about the work at all, they did a good job and even though the bumper is plastic, they matched the color about as well as Ive seen.Only thing that I couldnt say was perfect was that it took a little longer than expected but most of that was ordering a part and then the second shot at matching the paint.Ive been to other shops around the area that focus a little more on the high end jobs for performance cars or classics and honestly Center City does about as good of a job as most of them. I Highly recommend.

I took my car to Center City and Carstar for estimates to see what would need to be fixed and who I thought would do the best job. The experiences of just getting the estimates were worlds apart. Center City made me feel welcomed and taken care of. They showed real concern for the damage and explained in detail what needed to be completed and how they would do it and how long they estimated it would take. I talked to Jon from Center City on the phone before scheduling because I had a couple questions and he took the time to explain everything again. I even decided to have an additional repair completed at the same time and they were happy to accommodate. Throughout the process, Amanda called to give me updates. They also worked with the rental car company so that a car would be ready for me when I took my car in and I could leave it there when I picked my car back up, so convenient! As a bonus they did some additional touch up work since they were painting. I am so appreciative of all the time they spent on my car, giving me updates and explaining everything. It was all around a pleasant experience! I would recommend them to anyone!

Center City Collision is an amazing body shop with amazing people. I was shocked when I walked outside to find my car with white paint thrown all over the hood. I found Center City Collision on google and took my car in to be looked at the same day. They were able to get me in and fix a potentially large problem with ease. Center City Collision is very conveniently located and extremely helpful. Absolute best customer service I have had in a very long time.
