Office Depot in Eastlake has always been my go to. But today my memories popped up an incident I witnessed that never should occured. Again this event took place 5 years ago. While in the store a shoplifter came in at 830pm, he filled his basket with what he wanted and ran. Several employees chased him and 3 took him down. Keeping him detained while police were called. One of the clerks mothers even watched as her son participated in this detention and physical assault as the shoplifter cried his stomach was in pain. I called police and filmed from a distance.

My wife and I have been going to this Office Depot for years... it is the closest one to where we live.This specific location is really organized and pretty clean. The lines are short and the staff is usually helpful. Returning items here is a pretty easy proceed and the copy center is great!

Customer service is always great, most of the items I look for are usually in stock. From time to time they dont have them but you can always go online and get them, even you can have them shipped to this site and they will call you once they arrive doing is free. They do have a decent amount of electronics, office supplies and en candies :). If you have the time usually upfront they have already have some good in-store specials. Ive gotten some good deals out of it. Happy shopping!

Horrible, please if you are ordering and having supplies delivered in the southern California, STOP dont order. Office Depot is using a company called Tforce to deliver the orders and they just have the WORST service. Please use Staples or Costco. Tforce is the worst freight Company and Office Depot seems not to care. I placed an order on 5/20 a whole week has passed by and my items have not been delivered when Office Depot had a promise date on 5/24. The tracking number has been Out for Delivery for the past days.

Excellent service with computer repair and friendly staff. Always quick to pick up the phone but not so much with promising to call or email you back. Also, I found it impolite to keep you waiting on hold for 15 minutes on the phone while someone tries to find the tech who repairs your computers.

I must say, this is the best Office Depot in San Diego County. I’ve been to quite a few and never received such good customer service as today. This man Andy is a genius. If you need any kind of prints, now you know who to come to. Thank You, Andy!

My wife stopped in to get some ink for our printer and was lost. She received outstanding customer service from Victor. He walked her through her options and was very informative and patient.

I have gone about five times to get costume sized print out pictures. This experience has been the worst I have wasted so much gas to keep going back and fourth to the store and my house. I went four times and they didn’t even bother to do the sizes I gave them they had a random size for all the pictures.The last tome I went they tried and the pictures were terrible and not proportioned correctly and just awful.I will never be coming back here go to staples instead the only one is in el Cajon but it would have saved me more gas and tome because they would have got it done the first try.

Happened to be looking for a laptop ... Went to Walmart, then to Best Buy👎🏼 For sure thumbs down and everything was overpriced or lacking features And it’s not like I was looking for a gaming computer ... I almost gave up😕 I needed to go to TARGET! And then I saw OfficeDepot/OfficeMax ... Walked in was greeted by an employee named Victor ... Long story short ... he exceeded my expectations ... he was very helpful to the point that I walked out of that store with a brand new laptop with everything I wanted and the best part the perfect price ... I don’t think you need to go to a BIG electronic stores ... This store was just perfect ... I was surprise to find out that all of our dental offices use OfficeMax for our office supplies ... Thank you Victor

Good place for office supplies and I also do my printing there. I will say that I dont like the new self service printers. You have to put in your credit card now to use them, and you get charged for everything even if there are problems with the prints.

Tried to come here to laminate a poster & one of the employees completely ruined it. Very disappointed!!

I needed some document sent an email and they were very very helpful I give him as five star. They took a very heavy load off my shoulder, I feel so happy.

They have 90% of what I need good the office. And their sales are really good when they have them.

Brian, the manager is such a good guy and so professional. Matt the PC guy was efficient and also kind and professional. I dont think Ive ever ranked another store prior to this.

I came to Office Depot at Eastlake Chula Vista to get my college paperback textbook coil binded. I had 5 very big textbooks, and they each had to be divided into two and coil binded due to how thick they were. Now even though they were clearly very busy, Ricci (Copy and Print Specialist) was so kind to us, and made this process very easy! I appreciate his patience and overall service he provided, I would absolutely recommend this store, and Ricci to anyone! Will definetly come back again :) thank You Ricci !

Double check all printing jobs done at this location. I ordered yard signs and one of them was printed with visible printer lines on it. The store employee offered to reprint the sign, which took about 30 minutes because their printers were constantly going offline or the paper was jamming. I also got two pieces of paper laminated, and they had bubbles in them with trapped air. This place is a disaster.

Dont ship packages from here! Your package will get stolen and even management doesnt know which carriers they can create labels for. The manager on shift claimed they cant ship with USPS despite a huge sign behind him clearly stating they do. SMH

Usually overpriced but occasionally offers sales on some items although its most likely cheaper on Amazon. Black Friday deals are actually pretty good though.

Sadly, the store is pretty big, but it never feels fully stocked. Staff is friendly enough, but for some reason there seem to be a ton of them yet you always have to wait in a line.
