At the start of covid, I decided to start shopping somewhere besides Walmart. (So tired of that place!) This is my absolute favorite grocery store, and the best Food Lion location. The employees are always friendly, and the shelves are always stocked well. During the weekdays, this location is not overly busy. Now that I know my way around the store, it is always a much more enjoyable shopping experience than those big box stores!

Fastest ever! My order was ready 4 hours early! Ended up being perfect as my husband decided to leave work early and picked up for me. Food is always picked out perfectly.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy to shop, and checkout is always an easy process. This store immediately brings employees to the front as they are needed to run checkout registers. Very clean and always a nice variety of fresh produce.

We came here the other day and had one of the nicest cashiers wait on us. They seems to have their act together here and theyre much nicer than the one on Roanoke Street.

Clean,comfortable, not so crowded as a couple other places. And its quiet.Good prices too.

Food Lion is the shining star of Supermarkets by the fact that its never super busy!The selection is pretty good, though its not as diverse as Kroger or Walmart though with the MVP program the prices are pretty competitive.This location is well stocked and easy to navigate.Currently there is construction in this area, beware.

Friendly service, good prices

Its a regional grocery store, kindve what youd expect from something like a publix or Winn Dixie or in this case, a foodlion. Kroger down the road is probably a better place to go, but it really comes down to convience.

Covid Safe Practices

My favorite Foodlion in the area! They always say hello and acknowledge you have walked in the store. Providing their not too busy. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. I only like to buy my fresh green beans from here. Their not like rubber they actually still have a snap at this time of year! Prices are good. Definitely worth the few cents difference to not have to go into that other gigantic store!

Clean, friendly, good verity, reasonably priced, what more could you ask for? On line ordering, curbside pickup or delivery and they would be the only place I shopped.

Food Lion is a spacious store, very good variety. Prices are comparable to other major chains in area. Need to work on more gluten free but getting there. Yum and thank you on gf cheesecake.

I feel like Im in a grocery store from when I was a kid when I go there. Needs an update.

This location is a great neighborhood location. Big enough to have what I need without spending too much time getting what we need. Amp up the organic offerings and this could be even better.

I like food lion but i do not understand the logic behind hearding people through one entrance and out an opposite exit. How does this help with covid?

Nice people. Good food selection. Their oranges do not spoil in 3 days like the ones I bought at kroger. I have had issues with little things at Food Lion and they cheerfully and caringly took care of. They over charged me once but made up for it. I was supposed to get an item free that I was accidently charged for. I love their meat selection they have really good prices.

They consistently have fresh produce. They make their own tortilla chips which is a plus for us. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I really enjoy going to this store for my groceries. Its quiet and not as busy as other stores. I like that I can actually walk through the store without worrying about getting in someones way or ran over with a cart. The cashiers and staff are always friendly and are willing to help if needed. Only negative is there are a few things that I buy that they dont carry, wont stop me from shopping there though.

Really nice store, always clean and orderly. This store has a great selection of produce fresh fruits and vegetables. Very friendly staff and cashiers especially, Donna D. Store is always stocked well most of the time. Handicap parking and mobile grocery carts are always fully charged which is a plus for disabled shoppers. I like this store better than Kroger and Walmart because it isnt as crowded. No fighting for parking places and trying to get through the busy crowds. Prices are average for a major grocery store. You can always save a few dollars on the sale items. Go check it out and happy shopping.

Christiansburg Food Lion is friendly and well-run. No self-check out. Becoming a regular. Not hectic like Kroger.

While this Food Lion doesnt have anywhere near the selection of our local Kroger, its great for smaller shopping trips or when youre in a hurry. Theres plenty of high quality products in those scenarios.

I like that its not overly crowded like Walmart or Kroger, however I am going to have to shop elsewhere because their prices are insanely to high for me. Im on disability and a twenty cent difference in price is a big deal to be. Which is a bummer because I do prefer the Food Lion environment just not their prices.

I absoutley love this store. The prices are the cheapest in town. I buy 100% of all my groceries from Food Lion. The isles are always clean, the staff are extremely friendly and they are quick to assist you if you are having problems finding an item. I live the cup in kiosk.

Its a Food Lion. Parking is a little weird and it doesnt feel as nice as others Ive been in, but it will do for most of your grocery needs. Beer selection could be better.

Its not always packed like other grocery stores. The prices are comparable for the most part. They have the best store brand dairy products.

Well today I went to exchange some chips seems sad but Im a brand person, but I didnt have a receipt and was nervous about the whole ordeal but they was kind and so very helpful and didnt even make fun of me today was a good experience.

Basically like all Food Lion stores, same set up and pricing. But a surprisingly large and diverse wine collection.

Had to go to customer service desk three times in one week to get discounts that didnt come off my receipts....part of the problem was cashiers. Two times they tryed to tell me something that wasnt correct just to get rid of me. Young people just wanting to get back talking to each other. The FOOD LION ON ROANOKE ST AND RADFORD ARE MUCH BETTER SEEMS TO HAVE BETTER MANAGEMENT AND CASHIERS THAT CARE MORE. If you shop at this one check your receipt check your ticket it could be short Ive had to go back so many times because price was wrong I cant help but believe its on purpose

Fairly good grocery store usually have everything me and my family needs/wants

We come here a lot because its right around the corner. Watch out for expiration dates on any perishables. Excuse theyll vary widely. We picked up yogurt yesterday and one expires tomorrow and the other in a month. Also avoid any processed produce like baby carrots since they must be on the shelf for awhile. Ours always go moldy in a day or two. Other than that the store is fine.
