Coffee: You can taste the difference in there coffees. Quality. They also have a selection of food as well. I hit the Pumpkin Spice Latte and it was perfect. Was not overly sweet or brutally tasted like pumpkin.Service: Fast, accurate, and friendly!Final thought: This place a little expensive for my taste BUT it was worth it! Plenty of out side sitting too.
This place is really cool. They have great coffee and desserts and the ambience of this place is what really makes it stand out. They also have an up stairs area where you can go and relax and work or just simply chill. I highly recommend coming to this great mall, The Shoppes, and checking out Dripp.
I stopped in to pick up some coffee for a beer one afternoon and really enjoyed myself. The staff was very helpful and interested in my plans and wanted to help me pick the right grounds. We settled on the Cali espresso and I decided to get an Americano with it to get it out as well. Both were great. Really refreshing to go to a small coffee shop and not feel like the people there are snobby hipsters.
Very crowded on a Thursday nite. Screaming children caused us to exit early, but its a very cool book nook type place. Great Nerd spot. Not romantic so dont bring that here... 2nd time weve tried it here, but thats okay. Here are some pics if your into screaming kids.Cannabru I would recommend highly!!
The coffee selection is great and not overwhelming. The baristas also put care in each order. This means that they do take a while but it is well worth it. The coffee is a bit pricey, so I suggest asking questions on coffees you might be interested in. I recommend the submarine(ice cream and coffee blended) or a Spanish latte.
Cutest lil bean shop I have ever been too! Its always crowded which shows how good it is, not only that, but the employees are amazing!! They actually talk to you and try to get to know you. Also the couches and other seating here is flippin amazing!! Ill always come back to Dripp. Super trendy too!!
I honestly cant find a better place that makes mocha better than this place. I tried a lot of famous coffee shops but the taste is either too milky, watery, or both.
Great artisanal coffee. Could take off a star for having too much cardamom in the Turkish latte, but otherwise the place has a wonderful selection of coffee, tea, espresso, and coffee blends! We keep coming back here when were in the area❤️
Great quality, friendly staff, nice ambience, especially when we were able to dine in. Nice outdoor seating area. Very smart business to open a takeout window during pandemic shut down and to set up online ordering platform. Very efficient and low contact.
Tried the horchata latte but it tasted like the horchata powder. I immediately started coughing and chocking on it. The Spanish latte was good. Staff was very friendly and understanding and did change my order without a problem!
I love this place. I dont always go here to sit down because Im not a fan of crowds and its kind of a popular spot. HOW EVER, the whole bean coffee is absolutely worth it. So much better than the stuff Ive bought elsewhere. The employees are also very knowledgeable about the product and helped guide me to the roast Im looking for when I ask them. Great spot.
Ive normally gone to the Dripp from Fullerton. Coming here at the Chino Hills location gave a similar vibe to the location at Fullerton. My go to the Lavender Match! It tasted exactly like the one in Fullerton. I have to say that the ambiance was amazing. It had a two story and a great place to study or just hang out. Definitely a place to check out
I havent been in years due to high prices but decided to try it again recently. They have a pretty good menu selection with a good variety of unique drinks that I think most would like. Not too many caffeine free options but lots of coffee options. Lemonade is tasty but not sure I would pay $4.65 again for it. We both liked our drinks but this wont be a regular spot for us as even simple drinks (not large fancy fluffy drinks) are ~$5 each for a small/ medium. Their lobby is closed right now due to COVID but they have a nice patio with plants and shade/ music that is open and a side window where you can order there or pick up your online order. Employees were wearing masks and gloves which we really appreciated!
Stopped here during the COVID-19 pandemic, so there was no indoor service. We ordered online using their great website. We got quick and friendly service. The cappuccino and Submarine shake were both delicious. Will definitely be coming here again.
Got the Horchata Cold Brew and it is definitely worth the visit! During Covid there is no indoor seating so be prepared to sit outside in their beautiful outdoor seating area.
Bad service on multiple occasions. I was kept waiting for my drink after it was ready for more than 5 min.
Clever establishment- all around. It has a mix or rustic, nautical, and some other feels-simply put, LOVE THE AMBIANCE!!! The customer service is outstanding. Nice music selection. I would definitely come here as a third place to read, sit, talk...anything... kudos to the owner and staff 😊
Coffee is great. Very friendly staff
I made a special trip to this location to purchase a coffee. I went to the window and was turned away because I didnt order ahead. I was standing at the same window that I would pay at, wearing a mask. I spoke with the shift lead and was told yes people are encouraged to order ahead online; that is a suggestion. You would think that with so many businesses struggling to get patrons back into there establishments, that they would be reasonable. The people that were sitting outside watching this happen said that they couldnt believe that they did that. So much for trying to support local businesses!
The staff and atmosphere of this place were nice enough however their Nitro Cold Brew was just so so. I would be willing to try another coffee option in the future if in the area. Not sure what their specialty is here, my bad for not asking. Very inviting location to sit and socialize with friends and family.
There are a lot of good reviews for this place and I do agree is most aspects on how it is good, but I do think there are some areas that need to be improved on in terms of the consumables. Drinks are very good when you get the right ones. I recommend the Spanish latte. Some of the drinks are just very weird in flavor. The interior is very nice. Cozy and small. The perfect place to work on some homework. The staff is very friendly and open with smiles. The ice cream could really use some work. It is not creamy at all and feels more like an icy slush. For something so expensive, I was just expecting more. Overall, it is a nice place to have a coffee with a friend. Keep up the good work.
Great coffee and my wife likes the lavender lemonade that she requested I had a cappuccino it was really good I really enjoyed it they do take a bit in time but they make great quality drinks.
Cute place. Good coffee. Wish they had other foods besides cookies, donuts and ice cream. There is also VERY limited places to sit. Seating needs to be designed.
Its good coffee. ☕🐧
My go-to coffee shop! I love Dripp, and Im never disappointed. Consistently good coffee for when Im on the go or want to sit and relax. Their outdoor patio and upstairs lounge are so nice! And the staff is always super friendly! Especially Priscilla. Shes so friendly and sweet!
Be advised Dripp coffee is no longer there. Went to try and get some coffee today and it was completely empty. No equipment or anything inside. Must have moved.
Custom Ice-cream sandwiches, cappuccinos, and the vibrant atmosphere made my visit worthwhile. The second floor has couches, and is a nice place to perch and enjoy the decor. Personally, I’d come here to do light reading or studying. Nothing to heavy due to the bustling nature of this place.
Friendly service, good drinks, and a pleasant atmosphere. The hot chocolate was delicious, and came with what appeared to be a roasted home-made marshmallow floating on top. Would definitely visit again!
First of all, how dare you serve me mediocre tea and charge me 4.50 for it in a tiny mini me cup. And then your cookies, cheap as they might be, are atrocious. You only get points for your comfy couches and atmosphere.
This place is very on point for coffee. Staff that I have interacted with has always been friendly and willing to talk about the coffee and what not, one even suggested a coffee shop to try in Riverside which I thought was pretty neat of him to do. The espresso drinks are smooth and always consistent. The place is fun to sit in and talk, and the whole bean coffee to buy is reasonable priced and seems to be always a few days within roast date.
Let me start off by saying the coffee is good, however thats the only positive thing I have to say.The service is slow and everything is way over priced. I paid $6 for a coffee that only cam me in one size (small) and took almost 10 minutes to receive. It wasnt busy but the conversation between the employees was more of a focus than my coffee.I wont be back.
Dont come here unless you know coffee. If youre used to soft girly Starbucks coffee - forget it. This is the real deal with extras. I grew up on Cuban coffee so regular coffee just doesnt do for me. The pastry was exactly what i liked - fresh, crunchy and flavorful. Atmosphere and decor is relaxing, upbeat and stylishly done without being fancy. Staff was great! Can joke around and will interact. Can get crowded at certain times but what can you expect? Been here several times, food/coffee always great, but come early and avoid crowd.
If you look past the blatant over-examplification of the stereotypical millenial hipster scene and person, this is an okay place to chill and the coffee is good.
Came here to study and ordered a coffee. I sat down and realized it was extremely hot. I couldnt really concentrate so I had to go to Barnes and Noble. Super fresh there and plus they do not have outlets to charge your computer.😕
Look it’s good for what it is, but what it is isn’t coffee.I’m sure I am not “getting it”, this is “artisan” coffee. I can practically feel the smug coming off people who believe I’m just a schlub who likes chain coffee but that’s just not it.The coffees here all taste flowery for lack of a better term. Something is added and coffee doesn’t need that. I want my coffee to taste like coffee, not rose hips and chrysanthemums, that’s for tea to handle. If you want a fancy cup of something coffee like this place is great, but it’s pricy AF and it just isn’t coffee. Staff is really friendly though
Coffee is delectable, a very cozy and comforting area; they have a second floor where you can relax and work on your homework or other business needs. Their lavender latte was absolutely amazing, a definite place to visit.
If you know coffee and you try Dripps pour over, you may never visit a mass market coffee shop again! This is coffee with depth, complexity, and richness. Serious coffee drinkers....try this. You wont be disappointed. Plus courteous and cheerful staff and a pleasant outside seating area if you dont choose the interesting inside setting.
Best cappuccinos! Nice that its by my house too! My girls and I come here all the time.
Love their vanilla latte. ❤️ Just wish they were a little less expensive.
First time here, I have one word AMAZING!.. When I first walked in I see happy faces and welcoming, Bianca was so sweet and helpful, she recommend sweet coffee. Coffee and pastries were amazing definitely coming back.
Looks like a great place to have coffee, even if it is more expensive. Good iced coffee. But I cant go there for hot coffee. They list all the notes of each coffee below and every single one had something in it I dont want in my coffee. So I end up walking 30 seconds over to Starbucks where I can just ask for what ever is ready. Dripp just doesnt offer an easy enjoyable experience for someone who just wants a simple cup of coffee. I dont want to feel like Im picking out a fine wine when I want a coffee. Just my opinion.
I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Dripp on our interview date. When you hear the name ‘Chino,’ it’s hard to not automatically think of The OC (followed by its accompanying theme song). While Chino is not officially a part of Orange County, OC coffee roasters Dripp have found themselves a home in the fabulous Chino Hills Shopping Center. While located at the shopping mall, its steampunk meets diner feel somehow makes its atmosphere immensely more relaxing than your neighborhood Starbucks. A variety of geometric and brightly colored tiles accent the neutral color palette, while the addition brushed metals and tubular light bulbs adds to its vintage look. A huge perk is that the shop provides plenty of space for any sized group to lounge in their choice of cushy couches and armchairs upstairs or weathered washed wooden benches and industrial styled bistro tables downstairs. Its playlist comprised of classic, old-timey crooners (tee hee) playing in the background makes it easy to want to stay there for a few hours. Now to discuss their menu. I must say, it was pleasant to be able to have a great array of options to choose from for both food and coffee. Pastries and sweets of many forms (including ice cream) are available for whatever your craving may be that day (in this case, the guava croissant was calling my name). Not only do they have a revolving selection of single origins and blends for both their pour overs and espressos, but they feature recipes that you don’t normally see in smaller shops let alone franchise stores. Specialty drinks like the Bru La La as well as the inclusion of cascara (the cherry encasing that protects the coffee bean while it’s growing) and large list of wonderfully named loose leaf teas are eye-catchers, but the drink that is interestingly one of their main specialties is the raspberry jam, cocoa, molasses, and cardamom infused Turkish Latte. Historically described as the ‘first coffee ever made’ with it being served to sultans of the Ottoman Empire, this luxurious recipe was replicated by incorporating the special brewing method common to that region, in which the coffee is made unfiltered with finely ground beans boiled in a special pot (usually a cezve or ibrik) with sugar and cardamom. The Black Goat Turkish Coffee is just one of Dripp’s signature, single-origin coffees that are offered to customers like myself who are looking to try something new.
They offer delicious and unique coffee and tea creations. The horchata cold brew concoction is awesome!
I am SO IN LOVE with this place! Really bummed its an hour away from where I live.My sister and I stopped by after a long day of shopping. We showed up before the rush and we got the couch! A great place to go on a date or catch up with friends. I also heard they have live music.Everyone who worked there were kind and chatty :) They told me I can sample all the ice cream because I wasnt sure which one to get for my affogato coffee (ice cream drenched in espresso). I got salted caramel ice cream. My sister got El Machete, Panama. They were rich and amazing (and kept me up til 3am).Lucky Charms ice cream was too sweet for me. Maple Bacon ice cream is maple ice cream with chewy bacon bits.Next time Im there I want to try their ice coffee and their popular ice cream sandwich.Because I love graphic design: I love their brand design, especially their paper bags!
Always a great place to get work done. Great coffee, good vibe, no noticeably loud music, enough plugs and solid wifi.
Believe the 5 star reviews - this place has some of the best TURKISH & ESPRESSO Ive ever had. If you want great coffees at a really cool, unique place, go here and see try it for yourself. I come from a coffee background (traveled America serving espresso & tasting some of the most unique coffees), and this stuff at Dripp is very tasty. I live in Chicago so hopefully Ill be able to make it back someday soon.Keep doing what youre doing Dripp!
Delicious lattes and mochas, with prices on par with other indie coffee shops. The pastries they stock are good, but I wish there was a bit more variety. The cookie selection is good, and they make ice cream sandwiches that are quite tasty. It’s nice to have a local cafe with plenty of seating and a nice patio that stays open until 11 (and isn’t a Starbucks).
The hot chocolate is not as sweet as other hot chocolates. It tastes like they actually use real chocolate instead of proceed chocolate. Coffee is good hear too but u are going to be paying the price for the quialty.
Like the atmosphere, like the drinks. Next time Ill come prepared to lounge on the sofas inside.
I waited for 4 mins with no line for someone to ignore me enough to say “I’ll be right with you.” There was 4-5 people behind the counter. All I wanted was a cookie to go. If anyone had been available to take my order- I would have been a satisfied customer.
This is a great coffee place. Love the outdoor space! Cool decor of old coffee presses! This place is always busy & packed. But I enjoy going since service is fast & coffee is always excellent! Of coyrse, I cannot skip a Danish or Macaron or ice cream sandwich! I have friends that we order their coffee online! Yeah, its that good for a small business! Now, go try it!
Nice place to chill or do some work, but it can get REALLY crowded at times. Drinks are tasty but somewhat overpriced. Ice cream sandwiches are super overpriced in my opinion, but tasty.
This is one of my favorites spot for some coffee and catch up with friends, specially upstairs!
If you come early you can claim a spot for a couple hours to do some studying and/or reading. They have multiple places (upstairs, downstairs, and outside) to charge your devices. Also, their coffee and pastries are delicious!
Excellent service! Ground level, upstairs and outside patio area with good amount of seating. Spanish Latte was amazing!!!!
I always order a vanilla mocha. Its my favorite and seriously once you come here youll never want Starbucks again. The drinks are pretty pricey for only being about 14 oz. But the flavor is worth it.
I feel like Im on an episode of the sitcom Fraiser, the people are professional, polite and hospitable. I feel as if every item I order was made with precise technique. Plus the ambience they created at this particular location is very laid back and calming. Oh and the coffee tastes real not hidden. No complaints here.
Good if you are a hardcore coffee drinker or perfer natural ingredients, but they dont have the usual fixins to add to your coffee. Beautiful artistic presentation of what ever you order. Ive been there a couple times and still havent found a drink I like. Nice atmosphere. Trendy. Parking is not great, but free.
Beautiful place, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. New to the area and I had a craving for coffee and ice cream and this place did the job . Plus there was barely any wait time they got my order out really fast. I had a matcha and lavender tea. With an Expresso cookie sandwich. Totally delicious will definitely be back.
The best place for a unique cup of coffee! Thank you for the recommendations! You were spot on!
10.25 for two donuts and a hot chocolate. The donuts had a fluffy semisweet dough and a suitable amount of icing; one mint chocolate, the other pistacio rose. The hot chocolate had a speared marshmellow dipping its toes in the foam. Great decor. Wish I could bring Jess here and read on the lofts couch.
Very very cute antique decor and interior. I love the rustic paneling! The ice cream here is amazing! It literally drips with goodness :) Very good quality ice cream and coffee.
Great place to relax and get a nice cup of coffee ☕☕
Place is nice. Lots of young people. Coffee was fantastic. Need more seating and it was very busy.
From doughnut Tuesdays, to the strong nitro cold brew, and all the drinks on the menu - you can tell that they use high quality ingredients to produce a cup of coffee/tea or have some of the best pastries in stock. The ice cream that they have in stock is also awesome. Used to have horchata (which was my favorite), but I havent seen it in years.
Great coffee! Also a very cozy place to relax in.
Is place is my new obsession its like Starbucks and basking Robbins had a baby n there gave it some flare. This spot has a lot of eateries near it and then this place tops it off as a dessert /coffee tea spot. The cookies for the ice cream sandwich are good on the side or as part of it. I reccomend the the smores or chocolate chip cookies. The teas there are very refreshing and tasty. The ice cream selections too are exquisite I tries the chocolate n bananas it was a game changer. Will go back. Ooh by the way they have a lounge area outside and there busy.
I got one of the teas here and wasnt really impressed for how much it cost. There are some unique drinks here and I will probably give it another shot. The service was great though and the place has a unique look to it.
The ambience of the place is good. Its a great place to just hang out for a while. Although theres not enough tables and I didnt really like their drinks. The prices are not reasonable. I would go there if someone would invite me but tbh, its not worth the visit.
Great place to take your studies to! Very cool and ambient!
