The service was great! Im not Vegan, but I loved the food. I had an oatmilk Mocha and a vegan sausage sandwich. My son and his girlfriend had great food. Thank you!

Wonderful had a birthday morning walk around Chico and stopped in here for coffee and a treat. We had a sticky bun, a vegan macaroon, and vegan burrito. All were big city good without all the people. The two young women serving we’re friendly and open to questions. If we lived in Chico this would be our spot. What a delightful coffee spot.

TLC: Totally Loving-caring place to get coffee and hang out, if you ask me. I highly recommend the Oreo Milk. Try it. They also have your regular variety of coffee choices, and a lunch menu.

I was on the hunt for vegan breakfast and coffee while passing through Chico and this place hit the spot! The vegan sausage, egg & cheese biscuit was so flavorful and the biscuit was light and fluffy. So delicious! All of the drinks come with oat milk automatically. Love. I will definitely make it a point to pass through Chico again so I can come back to this delightful shop.

Stopped in based off of other reviews and we were not disappointed. For a sugar free mocha option, the made my wifes hot mocha with cocoa powder, which she really enjoyed, and for my iced mocha, they have pre-mixed chocolate milk that they pour the shots into for your drink. I do recommend getting something to stir it with. I tried my usual swirling of the cup, but the first few drinks of it were heavy with the espresso on top that hadnt mixed in yet. I like straight espresso, so was okay with it, but had to work at blending it to improve the ratio as I drank through the rest of it. :)The staff were engaging and great conversationalists while making our drinks. All in all a great experience, great coffee, and a fun, inviting space to hang out in.

Staff was super friendly. I had the Hemp Coffee, which is an espress shot poured over iced hemp milk. Very tasty! I ate the Cesar with added meat. It was very delicious. Its a bit pricey, but the quality and taste are excellent. They also serve cocktails and have pizza.

Delicious vegan options and one of the best soy mochas Ive ever had. This has quickly become out new favorite brunch spot.

Everyone here is super nice and helpful, and the breakfast food is to die for. Amazing!

Their coffee is GREAT! Roasted on the premises! And their danishes are terrific! I am a big fan of their blueberry muffins.

My absolute favorite new place in town. The food is great, the coffee is great, but most importantly the staff is delightful. Even the artwork is amazing. If you havent, come in on a Sunday and check out their brunch with live music. Their musician selection is on point!

The coffee was truly made with love. I got the vanilla latte and it made my whole morning!

At farmers market they missed my order and started serving about 4-5 groups that came up and paid. When I tried to tell them, they said to wait in line. Seems like they dont know that you have to line up cups and serve in order. If you want a long wait and rudeness if you ask about an order, this is place for you. They really missed my order and then would not fess up about it, making some excuse. But as I waited patiently for 25 minutes, I could see the people coming up and ordering and getting their coffee.

Tender Loving is a beautiful little coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere yet space enough to put on wonderful open mic nights. People are swell, coffees good, nothing bad about it at all.

Theres lots of vegan options at TLC, all the pizzas Ive tried are great, and so were the donuts I tried (they arent the fluffy kind). Their outdoor patio in the back is nice. It can get a bit loud inside, especially when there are musical performances. While prefer a quieter atmosphere, I cant help coming back for their decent vegan selection, especially the pizza.

Great espresso drinks and teas, On-Point decor. They have a fabulous vegan only brunch on Sundays, and Im not even vegan. Lots of Open Mic nights and live music and local art it seems to attract a good crowd of people.

Love this place

Really great vibe overall. The coffee is so good, I buy their bags to enjoy at home as well and everyone I introduce to their coffee raves about how good it tastes. The food is delicious and its staffed with the nicest people. Super accommodating to special requests and all the baristas and cooks seem genuinely happy to be there. Cant say enough nice things about this place or recommend it enough.

I had a prosciutto sandwich and didnt want the experience to end, so I ate slow to savor every bite. So good!Also bought a pound of coffee beans which are EXCELLENT! Deelish!All the staff are very friendly and talk to you like theyve known you forever. Love this place!

This place is good. Has lots of vegan options. A little pricey but worth it.

Tea and music. Had a lovely night. Saw people eating in and taking out meals. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Wine and beer are for sale also. Place was packed. Bathroom is clean.

Tender Loving Coffee Pizza is my favorite place in Chico, or anywhere for that matter. THE greatest PEOPLE...expert chefs...wood fired and handmade Italian brick pizza oven and both omnivore and vegan menus. Conscious. Badass. Tender. Loving. YUMMY.

Service was great, there was an amazing environment, food was amazing. On top of all that we went in 45 mins to close and felt vad for wanting to sit and eat but they didnt even blink and made us feel very welcome. Will be going back soon

I was excited to try TLC, but it didnt live up to my expectations. Their shop is really more of a pub, that serves coffee as well. Pizza, Beer, Wine... and Coffee.I tried to order a Flat White, off menu, but still never a problem for any barista worth its weight in coffee beans, however the barista here said no :( . Then I ordered a Mochaccino, to which she replied a cappuccino? *facepalm*. I corrected her to a mocha (short for Mochaccino) and paid and sat down.The coffee came in a tall beer glass, not a coffee cup. So that threw me a bit off. But I tried to remain optimistic, for afterall, its all about the coffee. The drink was OK, I have no major complaints, but also no compliments.Overall if your looking for a traditional coffee shop, this is not it. This is more of a a coffee pizza, and beer joint, that happens to have an espresso machine and roast their own coffee (in my opinion).I hope to patronize this establishment again, however not for their coffee. Pizza maybe.
