I visited this Walmart because it was on my way home and I returned something and it was very fast, the lady in the customer service did let me know for next time to expedite the process I had to do something else. She was happy and helpful. I did look around and found other things, unfortunately they did not have Soy milk I wanted but everything else they did, fast checkout and must wear a mask for service. I parked right in front paid at the box. Convenient to come to this store.

This is a neighborhood Wal-market. Regular friendly faces, joyful people that say hello and have a nice day and truly mean it. Ive gotten to know a few of them. They have switched to all self checkout which is moderately monitored. It is sometimes a challenge to find someone who will approve your ID for purchasing liquor beverages but overall a well stocked, organized and managed store.

This Walmart setup was so different then NYs stores. This was really clean and aisles are wide. Not too expensive.

Has exactly what I wanted at at a fair price.

I’m new to Lakeview East/Lincoln Park and this was my 2nd experience in the store. I was followed by a grown man in a yellow vest and then profiled at the check out lane around 7:30pm on 10/24/2021. I looked him in his face and asked him “is there a problem” and he said “yes there is a known thief in the store and we are watching him.” I’m not a “known thief nor a thief period. I make too much money and easily could’ve went to another store in this area. I do not appreciate being profiled or followed and as a result I don’t believe I will be returning to this location without speaking with management first.

This is a very conveniently located grocery store They had almost everything I was looking for I didnt even realize they were there up until last week. theyve got everything youd expect in a full size supermarket. The prices are very good.

Was able tp walk in and grab what I needed. Nothing to special its walmart.

The people that work there are wonderful always going above to assist you with things that you need my only issue is that they have a lot of items that are not there for long periods of time if they can fix that itll be a great store the people make it wonderful for me

This place used to be amazing. Lots of products and good staff. Its been going downhill the last couple of years. They keep remodeling this store and now its almost back to its original layout but with less aisles. However, the product selection is now mostly walmart brand and nothing else. even the pasta and tomato sauce are now walmart brand!! Its severely understaffed too. The staff keeps shrinking to the point where the only staff you will see in your visit are the two by the self checkout registers. the prices are cheaper than the nearby Target but thats only if youre lucky enough to find that non walmart brand product.

Extremely disappointed with the prices of the food at this place, most of the food could be found cheaper at trader Joes. Also their cash register system does not accept phone payment, pretty lame.The store was half stock and very messy/dirty.

I’ve been shopping in this store on Broadway location since the store opened!Great store, excellent prices and wonderful employees!To start with the employees first, stock guys who keep shelves always full, and one of them is a guy named Dave.Great guy and always willing to help you finding an item in grocery department or all over the store.At the checkout or customer service is the lady who’s name is Ismeta.She’s been there for quite some years and very helpful and friendly with anyone.She’s an example for the teenager who work there at self checkout registers or customer service and very knowledgeable about the store.It’s a wonderful store and hopefully it will always stay open for business.I met once the lady who is the Store Manager and she’s very nice and friendly and helpful.One time I saw a shoplifter in the store trying to fill up his bag by Health and Beauty department and I was constantly watching him and told the Store Manager about him and she took action right away calling the security and we talked about and she thanked me for my consideration to help.I’m also a Store Manager who works in retail business and I enjoy being treated with respect and good customer service when I’m in this store!It feels like family knowing the employees who are trying their best to keep the store full and clean and customers happy!Thank you Walmart!Best Regards,Adrian D.

Caliber service has gone way downhill over the past few years. Lots of people standing around not helping.

As they say in their commercials, Buying groceries at Walmart saves a lot of money. It doesnt have the premium bakery products that I get at Marianos, and they were out of stock on my #1 need (distilled water) but they offer an amazing variety of items. I had to do self checkout, which was easy to do although at my age I prefer using a cashier, but the inconvenience was minor. Their store brands and generics are fine, but the name brands are usually available as well. So what the store lacks in ambience is more than compensated for by the prices and selection.

Pretty limited space and selection of items.

Found what I was looking for and low prices compared to Jewel and other stores.

Good environment, decent parking and also a contactless shopping you dont have to talk to anyone if you dont want to from shopping to checkout. I love shopping @ the store 100%.

Always provides excellent service. Very fast, friendly, and helpful. Great selection of fresh in season produce, as well as some of the best prices. So much better!!

I did curbside pickup here and had no complaints. Simply pull over with your hazards on and let someone know youre outside and they bring your order right out. Would do it again.

Covid-19 Ready! I shopped here on black Friday and was delighted to find all the baking supplies I needed for Christmas cookies in stock with everyone social distancing and a not too busy feel thanks to the staff at the doors counting folks to ensure roominess. Checkouts have been reconfigured in one large bullpen of self-serve scanning stations. Very well done, Walmart Team: A-plus!!!

Walmart ... HELLO!?If you’re trying to make the front door a huge Cluster - You have succeeded! But if you aren’t trying - you have still succeeded! Put the carts in the store so they aren’t blocking the entrance, which also is the exit because people are always trying to get in and out at the same time.Before anyone actually can gets in, some of us are already annoyed. Then there are LONG lines at the registers. Somewhat of an improvement over slow checkers... but I do not usually stay to buy anything and just walk right out - that is, after I maneuver through the cluster at the front door.

Small in size, but are always stocked. Plus they always have plenty of employees around if they are needed. Store is fairly good at keeping the store clean

Didnt realize this store was even here until I walked past it on my way to church a few weeks ago. Prices are all way better than nearby competitors and the staff is super friendly.Selection could be a tiny bit better (I buy a lot of ginger and turmeric) and Id LOVE to see more live plants here. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Good service, for a small store. But everything I went for, was there. Just as many groceries as any other grocery store. And plus they had Lysol, which I didnt really expect would be there, since its been so hard to find. I just wish that they had parking or atleast validated parking available. The PM manager that was on duty was very helpful. Thank You.

I took home an expired half gallon of Organic Valley skim milk. It had been for over a week. Yet it was sitting on the front shelf like it was fresh stock. On the other hand I was very impressed with their selection of Flat Out and Joesphs Bread.

After years of living in Chicago and going to Target every week, its a little bit jarring to step into a Walmart and be reminded how much better a Targets decent customer service and cleaner fresher feeling environment is. However, its nice to have one around if you need it and not have to trek to the suburbs.

Tonight the website for this 2844 N Broadway location in Chicago stated that it was closing at 8:30 p.m. Because I only had some spices to pick up, I got there at 8:23 p.m., but security would not allow me to enter stating it was closing (7 minutes early). As I walk away I heard Walmarts intercom state that the store was closing in five minutes for encouraging shoppers to complete their purchases soon as possible. Obviously, Walmart closed early to shoppers wanting to enter, and 8:30 p.m. was the time by which it wanted to empty out. A more precise explanation of what Walmart meant by its closing time would have been helpful to me in deciding whether I wanted to try making the trip.

Walmart is an unique store and the prices are better than other stores and its not me others also like Walmart.

Its crowded, rude, crude, and thats just the customers. Like most Walmart associates there over worked or on break, but they are under appreciated. Although its a take it or leave it, Next style of customer service, but there cheep. If you havent check out the local family owned stores, most have have great prices, more variety and way better customer service.

They really need to fix that dip on the ramp. Someone could seriously break an ankle or fall through tmat this point attempting to get fruits and veggies. I was a little annoyed they closed for so long, but were going through a pandemic and them being closed is really the least of my worries at this point. Super happy they are now open though, and that they have hand sanitizer at the door. Employees are very friendly and helpful when you ask them for help.

Very clean and organized. Great produce section and although smaller than other stores, it was very well stocked. Amazing employees ready to help and answer questions. Well lit parking lot and a very friendly and professional security guard as well.

Store is rather unusual --- smaller even than most of their other neighborhood markets I have visited. Very clean and well organized. Sometimes, FEWER options to choose from is a GOOD thing! Found everything I needed at more reasonable prices than expected. Unlike some other major chains, prices do not seem to be higher based on neighborhood demographic/income level. Friendly, helpful, knowlegable staff too!

Clean store, line moves relatively fast. Some issues with stock but generally okay. The entrance is a little tight and can get difficult going in/out.

I like this Walmart. I use to like it more before it became completely self check out but I understand and I dont have to deal with the extremely rude cashiers.

Employees that couldn’t care less, a haphazard layout and the jankiest self-scanners ever seen — what more is there to want in a store?Well, this Walmart meets the challenge by adding low quality meat products, stickers that don’t care that they’re blocking aisles, and a weeks-long closure that has yet to be resolved.It’s enough to make you remember you got by just fine before this parasitic company moved into the neighborhood. Shop here only as a last resort!

The price and diversity of the products is great but the problem is everything seems to be somewhere that not even their staff can find them. Weird! :/I raised their stars because I could find low carb bread and Lavash bread(that only used to be in CA branches) here. This place is getting great keep going!

Everyone in the neighborhood I believe is so happy to have Walmart open again. We were worried about the delay in opening of Walmart and we were saddened because we had heard Walmart was going to move to the suburbs but thank God one day we looked and Walmart was open and we are so happy about that and as Neighbors in the neighborhood we will do everything we can to help keep Walmart open thank you very much is one of the greatest stores in the neighborhood we love them and we love you too thank you.

Very average urban Walmart. Smaller than normal and the layout is really strange. You got groceries right next to frozen foods. The groceries arent super fresh and some items are missing. But more importantly this is a Walmart by a big intersection which is really nice.

Does local Walmart is better than most other grocery stores in the area. the only problem is is that they do not have a wide selection of items and also when they go out of stock of something and takes him about two to three weeks for them to replace that item. I love my Coke zero and so does my girl but they always seem to be out of that along with other popular items like Omeprazole and certain types of

The friendly staff make up (almost) for the small store, and minimum selection. Upstairs youll find grocery fresh items and a few household items for the kitchen. Downstairs includes the Pharmacy and canned goods and paper goods. Youll find cigarettes at customer service...if you must. Handicapped accessable.

Good place to shop groceries and vegetables. Prices are bit lower than the Jewels. However, sometimes I notice the vegetables will be empty at counter. You have to request staff to get it more from storage inside. Best place to shop groceries in this neighborhood!!

I love going in and out quickly! Just wish they had online pick up.

Dont have what I was looking for and they never answer the phone when you call them and their money order machine is always down.. Instead of getting a new one they just continue to have one thats broken. If no stars was an option I would give them that.. Yesterday I was there and asked for help and the employee just looked at me and went to talk to someone else.

They have a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Meat department is also very good. I only wish it was a full Walmart

Very helpful employees! I wanted to buy something and was not able to find it. One of their employees (I think her name was Jori) who was busy with her own tasks personally looked for that item for me. I was literally leaving the store and she found me and gave me what I wanted to buy. Also, although this store is small, it has almost everything we need. All in all, I don’t see any reason to give it less than 5 stars.

Walmart is a place you can get just about anything you need. And the worker will help you anyway they can.

Ive shopped and worked at the Springfield Super Walmart but was surprised at all the products they do carry at this neighborhood sized store. But I need super value White cheddar cheese puffs, Nightshade (our furbaby cat) loves them as much as I do. And we are out!

This place is not bad depending on your goals. Do not expect to do all your shopping here. The produce choices are few and far between.This place is good for quick pick ups of household items like toilet paper, toothpaste, and cleaners, and laundry detergent. Their prices on these items are very good.The food is not something I would buy here. Even the fresh produce does not look fresh.The only food items I would purchase here are the prepackaged stuff.So if you have time to go two different stores when grocery shopping, then this place is good. You could save money by buying household items here and then shopping for fresh food somewhere else. If you want to buy all your stuff in one place, then this is not the place for you.
