Im giving 4 stars because the vegetables and fruits are priced so well and the selection is large. The deli is GREAT and extremely reasonable. I only knocked off one star because its like everything else is priced so high, I dont know how anyone could afford to fully shop there. I get my fruits, veggies and lunch meat... otherwise in case of an emergency, Ill grab something else... overall would recommend.

Some of the more common household staples here are higher priced than their competitors. This is where I purchase all of my produce and also meats. The selection is fresh and plentiful and the cashiers are pretty friendly. I’ve never had an issue parking in their lot and this given how many people appear to always be shopping here. It’s a popular place. I’ve been coming here for years. Make sure to bring a quarter for your cart!

Loved this supermarket! It was a small location but had a great variety of items and everything I needed! They had all the seasonal items on display and at a great price! Lines weren’t long either was able to go in and out quickly.

Their produce game is always on point. They have a wide variety that many bigger chains just dont have. Their pricing is also very affordable, so of the best in town. They are always my goto spot for quick greens or fruit.

Well stocked, you can always find workers on the floor to ask a question (most of them will help). Prices are ok, produce looks fresh. They could have better customer service they all seem like they wish they where some place else and no one smiles ever.

I love buying their fresh made Red Velvet Cheesecake and Chocolate Covered strawberries. Theyre Delicious!

I Love this store. They have all the staple foods plus lots of international foods. I make lots of potstickers and they have every ingredient I could possibly use right there in the store. They also have a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The meat section is great. They have fresh fish, chicken, beef, pork in all different cuts and loads of of spices. I Love this store!!!

Every clerk at this location should list customer service on their resumes. They do a great job and it shows that the management encourages them to be professional.

Nice grocery store having products focused on Mexican, Chinese, Indian and other Asian customers.Since lot of Indian students are residing in and around Bridgeport, it would be nice if the management provides Indian groceries like snacks, spices, wheat flour, Indian grains. Already few Indian food products (like rice, Toor Dall) are available but the above additions would make it great. Kindly limit the snacks to a MAXIMUM 4 PER CUSTOMER, so everyone can have an opportunity buying fast selling products. Also, please consider providing the above goods at prices competitive to Devon street groceries, it would enable fast selling of products.

I love this market! Inexpensive veggies fruits meat and produces. The parking lot never slows down but you can always find a spot.They have Mexican food, Asian food and even Asian snacks! If you take bus, there is a stop just in front of the store. They have restroom open without a key. Just FYI.

A defining moment for me at this grocery store is the woman selling tamales outside in her cooler pre-covid. Compared to the Jewel Osco or the Target over in roosevelt, youll definitely see more ethnic options as well as a wide range of prepared meals.The parking lot is pretty much what you can expect out of downtown Chicago with limited spaces and an accessibility ramp close to the building.It is also fairly close to a CTA bus stop.

My favorite neighborhood grocery store. Great selection of produce, fresh baked goods, awesome butchers who cut, season and package a variety of meats. And they have a deli. The store is always clean, items are restocked as needed all throughout the day.Best times to shop are early to mid morning.One more very important thing, the staff is very helpful and attentive.

I love this grocery store! I can walk there in 20 minutes around McGuan Park. It has fantastic produce, which is always fresh and reasonably priced. I also like the fact that they have an Asian section, so that I can get Asian ingredients that are not always found at other grocery stores. The manager is always making sure that things run smoothly in the store and he is always available if you have any issues. The check out lines move quickly and the staff is highly efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this gem of a store!

Excellent fresh French bread and sheet pastries like apple or cherry pie or brownies. Their chicken soup is always nice too. It’s a pleasure visiting this neighborhood gem.

The prices overall continue to be quite affordable at this location. This store always has the best variety of greens and produce and great french bread too! Great assortment of packaged meats or get your choice cuts with the butcher.

It’s my local grocery store. Their prices are decent for fresh produce. It’s clean and neat. I wish they would sanitize their shopping carts and remove the requirement to insert a quarter to use the carts.

Getting a box of green bananas was so hard. They tossed me around until I told them that it’s the only cermak that doesn’t sell boxes of green bananas. Then brought the box but hiked the price as if it was my fault to buy in large quantities.

This location is always very clean, neat and organized. Although its quit pricey everything is always fresh.

My all time favorite produce place with fresh vegetables and if there is a birthday celebration we drive all the way from suburbs to get the tres leeches cake 🎂 topped with fruits!! They’re so tasty and no one likes to waste the cake in our birthday parties 🥳

I like the produce, some other items are a bit high priced but only because most of their meat isnt... Take that however you see fit for imagination sake!

Over all, its a clean place for grocery. They have the best price on fresh chilis, citruses, and cilantro. 😁They always have milk and eggs when other places are ran out. The quality of fruit and vegetables are much lower than what you will find in the Whole foods, but they are always cheap. If youre on a budget for grocery, come to Cermak Produce.

I prefer shopping at Cermak Fresh Market. The food is good quality and the prices are reasonable.

Fully stock and well organized. I really stuck with Cermak when the pandemic 1st kicked off. Unlike other stores they stayed stocked and cleaned.

The butchers have great customer service they do not make you wait greet you say hello and they get what you need right away

They jacked up their prices!! You can buy the same products at Whole Foods, which will be natural and organic, for much less money and Whole Foods delivers for free! I used to love Cermak, especially because theyre right near my house but I will never, and I mean never, shop here again! Our country is in a crisis with this pandemic, I will not give my money to anyone that is taking advantage of this situation by increasing their prices when that is absolutely not necessary. Shop somewhere else, anywhere else!!l

I am loving this store more and more. Today I found TWO obscure items that even Whole Foods didnt have. This is the only chain where I have ever found caramel made from goat milk (allergic to cows milk). GREAT international section, extensive produce section, clean, friendly... Even better, theyre opening a store even closer to me in the next year or so.

This has been my go-to grocery store since it opened down the block from me in 2011. The prices on some things are not as good as youd find at Jewel or Marianos (mainly big name brand junk food) but overall they keep things affordable and the variety of produce in unparalleled. The seafood is mediocre but the meat department is good. And regardless this store is 100 times better than the Jewels that occupied the same spot before 2011.

Quick stop grocery store. Has all the basics of a large supermarket and then some. Fruit selection varied. Mexican cooked food in the back. Small bakery department. Variety of beer. Very friendly staff. Amazon locker on site. Honestly - very convenient location for the Bridgeport/Canaryville neighborhoods. Parking lot available.
