Dont shop here often but they have pretty good selections and food is pretty fresh and the biggest plus they have the Amazon hub lockers so I get packages sent there pretty often

The store supposedly opens at 7am and this is the 2nd time Ive been here and was told that they cant open because they dont have any cashiers at work yet. This is very sad but if people cant come to work on time maybe they should be replaced with someone who would love to come to work. Now theyre saying the cashier should be here in ten minutes which will be 716am.. gotta to better

Im reporting this store for price gouging. They should not be allowed any money from the stimulus package passed. 8 bucks for a frozen chicken thats usually under 4 bucks. 2.59 for eggs. Nearly 2 bucks for generic margarine. The Mayor and everybody said the supply is plentiful. There is no shortage. Put limits on how much people can buy at one time and you wont run out. Disgraceful taking advantage of people who already live hand to mouth. Reporting Pulaski store to corporate and the State of Illinois and the city of Chicago. Think Ill contact media too. Shameful.

This grocery store is not in a particularly nice neighborhood. It focuses mainly on low price items. Many name brands are not available.That said. Prices are good and the staff are great. They have always been super helpful when I had questions. I really appreciate that. Save-a-lot is my go to for groceries in this neighborhood.

This store sells the worse produce at times and also you have to pay attention to what you get,because on a couple of occasions the meat was spoiled .

Prefer this save a lot to the other one in my neighborhood, so sad to hear its closing

I just left Save-A-Lot on Pulaski and Congress. The store manager Sheila and the security guard was so helpful in everything that I needed in the store. Its good to know that you can get great customer service from an neighborhood store.

Clean store, good prices and a variety of fruit, vegetables, etc. You have to pay for bags so its best that you bring your own! You might get lucky and score a free bag or someone might offer it to you!

Very helpful staff and check out was really quick, just hate they closed the one on Ogden because I went there first due to being close to where I was and had to double back through construction to get to this one. But it always quick and the checkout is very fast.

There was a female cashier. I came in and as Im paying for my food hit that I wanted cash back, she then cops an attitude because of it and says I dont have cash to do cash back. Im telling you nicely... I stated thats something you should have stated before the transaction began. She then said again, well Im telling you nicely. As if she was doing me a favor. Horrible customer service and I plan to go back and complain about her.

Hella ghetto location and not enough security around. Stay away incase you dont mind the location. Its smaller than other save a lots and not enough variety..

Horrible experience and that location need a new look and why prices for bags are so high it doesnt make sense. They dont even sell that much brand new food! Hopefully they can get brand new food and a new look! Hire more employees that will help build the store. Lower the bag prices is not necessary!

Very rude cashiers produce is not fresh and is brown. The atmosphere is horrible and feels like youre unwanted. Employees seem to ignore customers needing help finding something or who have questions. I have never seen such lack of professionalism in my life. I will never be back to this location ever again. Parking lot is very unkepped and dirty. You cant even get through the doors because of all the people standing outside the door begging for money. Horrible horrible horrible.

There was very little food in the store and they werent except g any cash for food.

Had to get a few things, had everything I needed. Clean and well lit with security on site amd I did like the prices. Its like Aldis with a different name. Some name brands but alot of generic products. Dont slip on the generic, sometimes better than name brand. The cashier was friendly and had a great smile. I never give a 5 as that means perfect and NOBODY is perfect. I would go back again. My only compliant is the bag prices, for 2 big bags it was .33, make sure you bring your own bags, will save you 💰.

I made a stop to this store before boarding a Forest Park-bound Blue Line train on my way back to the western suburbs. I love the prices on the food items and the customer service, but I HATE the crackheads who hang around on the streets in the vicinity of this place! I felt that my personal safety was endangered thanks to them! Lay off the drugs, people!

Like this store because it closes to my house. Went here one Sunday there were 2 security guards working. They were using all kind of bad language. I thought to my self they wondered why we dont want to shop in our own neighborhood. You have the elders and small children comes in this store thats not right for them to be using the the bad words that they were using.

Save -A-Lot is an excellent grocery store, everybody should go to the grocery store and buy their meats from there, they need to get their cases of pop from there also.
