Dirty store... I only go in there to buy detergent thats on sale. Lol ... food never... looks very dirty... need to be remodel. When you go in smells like old building. Nope wouldnt buy anything to do with food. Detergent cleaning supplies...you are good.

Its ok it just get to crowded an they put prices the when you go to pay there different so always check when the scaning before you pay .las 3 times il got over charged or the prices they put are not rigth its just not ok you expect to spend an amount an they you pay more but in general they have pretty much all spanish food an American too

They do not clean their meat cutting machines when cutting headcheese just before i asked for krakus polish ham shaved, deli just cut head cheese for someone else then didnt clean the machine and put my ham on that yuck, yuck yuck thats disgusting and when i said something they had a problem with it, they need to be trained to be clean, i will never buy deli there again

This guys have everything you are looking for. Look at some pictures to see what im talking about. But some prices are a little high but good food for go and buy.

This is a small store. You would miss it if you werent looking for it but this store is great! They have loads of vegetables. Purple potatoes, cactus, banana leaves, lots of stuff! They sell tortillas, fresh and prepared meats and cheeses. Its worth checking out. Their produce is 5 star and does not cost as much as other places.

Milk was only 2 for $4. Good price 👍

I love there sales. Everyone is very polite. What I love the most is with the covid everything is very clean and sanitized. Shopping carts and they give people a pump of hand sanitizer in your hands. Love it. Thank you El Güero. Keep up the great job. A satisfying customer.

I have been going there for three years today someone stole my backpack in front of the lady who is in front they always told me to leave my bag at check-in so when I walked inside the store so I follow the rules and today someone else took my bag I asked to check the cameras with no results so if someone is reading my message who stole my bag now you have a brand new backpack and for employees I am very disappointed of your lack of skills to resolve this issue

A lot of their food is spoiled for some reason. I’ve just gotten food poisoning for the 3rd time and will definitely be my last.

I love this place because regularly the prices are great compared to the average grocery store here in Chicago. The only thing that is needed for the easiest experience is to know some Spanish. I speak the language due to my family being Mexican. Love the Price its real Nice. And the staff.😊

I dont know why most workers there dont know how to speak English BUT WHAT IS MOST FRUSTRATING IS THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE PAY FOR YOUR COLD CUTS AND YOUR MEAT IN ONE REGISTER AND GO TO ANOTHER REGISTER AND WAIT AGAIN TO PAY YOUR GROCERIES?? IT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE THEY THINK YOU ARE GOING TO STEAL THE STUFF THEN WHAT REALLY MAKES ME MAD ITS THAT IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT A ITEM AND YOU WANT TO RETURN IT THEY GIVE YOU A FACE LIKE THEY ARE LOSING MILLIONS ON THAT SALE EVEN IF IT IS FOR $3 BUCKS THEY MAKE A BIG DEAL OUT OF IT TO ME THAT PLACE SUCKS ROYALLY I GUESS PEOPLE GO THERE JUST BECAUSE THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH AND DONT HAVE OTHER CHOICE

They always have great prices for produce. I like buying my fruits here! The place is somewhat small and the aisles are close together.

Gueros can lower their prices, it is very expensive, as to being overstocked like really? All of you would be complaining if they didnt carry that many items. As for the size, they work with what they got. I am truly proud of this supermarket because they have a great staff that is always willing to help out the community.

I bought chicken fajitas here and once i got home i put it in the freezer for later use. I thawed it and cooked it. It had a horrible taste to it as if it was spoiled. The chicken had a greyish color. Will never come here for meats again.

Well the food is pretty expensive,but the food on sale are a good deal the cashiers are very helpful & polite also the butchers are helpful with letting you know the specials its kinda home friendly environment if your Hispanic & need to find something for the dish you are cooking this is the place to find, what you cant find at the regular supermarkets such as food 4 less fairplay the only grocery Wal-Marts Or big wholesale food stores like Costco Sams club also during the months of November-january they raffle of gifts such as a bike and plenty of blenders & coffee makers so they kinda give back to the community in one way or another they participate in neighborhood givaways weather it be food or cash.😉

At a time of need and they take advantage of their community by overpricing the cases of water.
