Good place to shop good prices really good selection. Sometimes they dont have enough cashiers but I try to go when its not as busy if you check Google maps it tells you when its busy. Same problems as any other store with not having enough cashiers yes the lines can get really long but it goes pretty fast sometimes you could be waiting in line at Jewel, for example, a lot longer.

If you can get in early or a little later after 6 or 7pm, youre good. Otherwise, be prepared to deal with panhandlers, disrespectful young people (behind the registers and moving carts), and speeding cars in the parking lot. You can definitely find some great prices for your grocery needs. Pretty good meats too. Just make sure you pack your patience.

Went this morning to get fruit and water at 7. Cashier was over nice and pleasant.

I shop at this food 4 less and the customers are always aggressive and moody its not really the customers i have a complain about but the staff. A couple of days ago, i got attacked by these 2 customers. They started insulting me and my family since they got mad at us for whatever reason. We are in the middle of a pandemic so we have to keep our distance but they dint respect that and so instead of owning up to their actions they attacked us and started threatening us (what makes it worse is that they were literally threatening us right in front of children) and where were the staff? Only doing god knows what in their minds. They dint even defuse the situation or call security. Staff was right there in front of us and they dint do anything. You guys should really train your staff for these types of situations. Next time, there could be a fight or even worse. My other complain is that the staff always have a bad attitude.

Good Place To Shop And Save On Food Prices And Liquor.

The cashier and the other inside employees are helpful, the only problem I had was one employee by the shopping cart curtain that told me very rudely I couldnt come in with my service dog and I told him he is a service dog.i guess he never encounter people with disabilities. I still be a customer regardless of his stupidity .

I enjoying shopping at this store ..But today I brought a package of chicken that was on sale good deal cause it is the holiday weekend and such ..came home and the package of Chicken smell bad ... that’s why it was on sale ..get it together Food 4 Less with the plague is everywhere and such ..people don’t want food poisoning on top of that but other then that if I wasn’t living far away from the store I would take it back ...but other then that experience I would still shop there ...”But”...peeps be wary on sales on chicken or any other meat

I wouldnt recommend to come to this place, they have good prices but the workers are lazy and theres only like about 2 registers open for a lot of people to go through. One time I had to go through 1 hour through line when only carrying 3 items and there was only one register open. The workers get distracted often and forget to do their job.

The last time I was in the store I was disappointed with the staff.The cashier was eating a subway sandwich while ringing up my grocery, very unsanitary in the day of covid 19 not to mention she was talking on her phone with her ear peice very unprofessional.

This deserved a 5 star rating due to: they now have a GAS STATION, a FRESH seafood and the BAKERY is always on point! It has definitely upgraded since 3 years ago. The staff has changed a bit and it has a positive impact on us consumers. Parking is no problem, however it does get packed. Please arrive EARLY in the AM or late afternoon on weekdays :)

Nice atmosphere and lots of fresh food and smiles. I was helped by someone who put something into my cart that I needed. Jesus went shopping with me so I would not forget this item! Thank You! God for whoever that was, who was used of God in that way!

While this is not a bad store I dont go there very often. Its always busy and I have never seen more than 3 checkouts open at any time. On my last visit I searched forever for the Asian section. I finally asked an employee and she said to follow her. We go a couple of aisles down and she showed me the soy sauce and said thats it. Their vegetarian/vegan product options are extremely limited

Never enough lines open. Sometimes the lines are ridiculously long. Specially on holidays. I know it WILL be packed no matter what store you shop at (for holidays)but if lines circle around isles to the back of the store than its ridiculous. And only because 3 registers were open.

The most disorganized, short staffed, out of stock place I’ve ever been. They typically have two to three lanes open at a time, the shelves are always half empty, and the customer service needs work. Oh if you get a cake and need writing on it, be prepared to stand in line and pay first then have to stand in line to get writing on it. Adding to this ...With long lines that extend aisle lengths, I recommend going to Walmart across the street. They seem to understand the value of time spent in checkout lanes (including the addition of self checkout lanes), and everything isn’t locked up in a case that only makes wait times longer when employees have to find out who has the key. Not to mention, one way in and one way out - this place is like a prison.

I just tried to order a Birthday Cake for Saturday and I was told by Rosa, that works in the bakery they couldnt take my order? What kind of Customer Service & Satisfaction is that? Then, I asked to be transferred to Customer Service and they NEVER gave me the number for Corporate like I asked nor did they come back yo the phone. They just kept switching me back and forth, until I finally spoke to Asst Mgr Jeff. He was was Apologetic, Empathetic and provided me with the information I needed. As well EXTREMELY Professional and he even offered me a job :)))

So the lines are to the back of the the store and they have 2 lines open and havent called anyone else to help with the lines or anything

With the exception of rain gear on a rainy day, Food4less has almost everything you need. Food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, cosmetics, you name it, most likely, they have it!The only problem Ive had is trying to get help finding the item, or items Im looking for. My Food4less app may direct me to the correct isle, but once Im in the isle in question, and looking at the correct section of shelves, but because of my visual disability, I dont always see what Im looking for.So, I try to find an employee to help me, but most of the time, all I see are fellow customers, who may, or may not have time to help me.As a last resort, after I get their attention, I ask a cashier to page someone to isle x to assist me. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 pages before someone comes to help me.Beyond this though, its a good place to shop for your groceries.

Quick trip to the grocery store was fine.... Even on the holidays (4th of July). Found everything I needed and more, prices were great and service was on point. My only issues would be the bathroom... It was out of service.... !!!!!

Stroller is consistently pack all the time with customers its good to come very early because everyone comes to North and Cicero to shop. There is strip malls around and you can also get cash back 250 dollars but there is a $3 fee there is Lottery inside also you can cash. You can refund any item unless you have coupons if you have used that that purchase.

This place could be better but I dont think they care too much now that they have been here and have made huge profits off of us.

The store is very clean, most staff are friendly and very attentive whenever Ive had problems. I like that most Staff greet you while your shopping especially the manager. One thing Im not happy about is the deli prices and staff. Big thx to bakery staff for always taking good care of me. Going to miss this store when I move.

Ive shopped here since they opened. A Wal-Mart is 2 1/2 blocks away too. So thats a clue on how much I love shopping at this Food 4 Less. There is a aisle where you can get certain items in a big family size container, also a aisle with goods from Mexico. 👍

Bought more than I came in looking for! Was pleasantly surprised with the selection of baked goods they have. I shouldve expected it with the Mexican influence. But overall, a great experience and I got through the line very quickly when there were a lot of people shopping on a Saturday!

This place is horrible! They might have good sales but the wait in line to purchase is extremely too long. Every time I go here, I always leave my shopping carts with food in the aisle and walk out. Stop trying to save on labor because you are loosing many sales because the store is not staff enough to handle alot of customers. Put your customer first and stop having us wait so damn long to make a purchase.

I’m giving two stars only because they are a big store and have some sales.This store no matter what time it is has the longest lines imaginable so if you’re going in there for a couple of items beware your wait time can be almost an hour in line.

If I could give zero stars I would. I Went today and actually tried to stop a man from stealing. He stole 4 big packs of meat, possibly an amount of $60 dollars. I told him to not steal and he left. I didn’t see security and staff didn’t care. I told two employees. Worst thing was that my daughter witnessed this. So disappointed with this store. Food 4 Less has ridiculously long lines. Sometimes, its on one checker that has to check out more than 30 people. Your lines shouldnt go all the way to the food aisles, and and deli section. This is the main reason that I dont like shopping at this store because its a nightmare with the long lines and then the customers become all disgruntled and argumentative. The checkers have smart mouths about being in certain lines and its just simply ridiculous!

Well I see a lot of fruit that has been black and etc. I was looking at some fruit and I was like um.. No so dont get the fruit but you can get anything else. but I am not the person to tell you what you want so go for it. Would not recommend it though.

The staff are helpful and friendly. They also have a good selections of products at good prices, but they do need to get more cashiers at peek times.

This location is a joke and its all because of the females working the register. As a customer in line i should not hear u as the cashier telling another cashier that u are ready to go cuz folks are getting on your nerves. Keep that yourself and do your job, you applied for it. At least the location on North ave & 25th have some class.

Apparently, its ok to take 30+ items through the express line.... 15 items at a time. -.- Someone allowed that!!!Other than that, the stuff they sell is great. I just wish the employees were competent enough to care about their jobs.

Everytime I go there is always a mess. Half the carts dont work and usually all are outside and none inside where you need them. There are never enough cashiers. Once had 3 aisles open and over 15 people in each line. Seven more cashiers standing at other registers not doing anything but not making any effort to open another lane. Three customers in 3 lanes had 2 carts each of groceries, took over an hour to get to the register and we were third in line. Not even good to just pick up milk and bread. Will travel farther away for a better store.

This store needs new management! The store has poorly packaged meats and unstocked shelves. The cashiers yell at each other across the registers while talking about their personal business.

I started having a lot of pain by the time I made it to the check out line, I was in one of the Food 4 Less portable wheel chairs, and had more than 15 items in my cart, when in all of my 56 years on this earth, met the nicest cashier, I dont know if she saw the pain in my face or what, but she told me to follow her to her line which was 15 ITEMS OR LESS, and said too me that she was here FOR ME!!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AT ANY TYPE OF STORE BEFORE, SHE SHOWED ME TRUE COMPASSION, SO MANY CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS TO LEARN FROM HER, THANK YOU FOOD 4 LESS, FOR THE TRAINING YOU GIVEN YOUR STAFF, IT SHOWS!!!!!!!!!

Store was very large!! Lot of variety!!! I was very pleased until I got to the register this morning. Around 10:14 am today, the cashier was not the most welcoming individual. I dont know if she was upset because another employee didnt show up or what. But dont take it out on the customers. First of all you chose this job and second of all dont ignore the customer whenever they speak to you like u do not hear them. Remain Professional. I understand stress comes in at all levels but sometimes u need to hold back a bit. Other than that, I love everything else about the store.

The prices are mostly expensive. The stuff are Disorganized, warehouseman are very helpful. Only one Cashier is working and create long lines.

Horrible, I thought someone from maintenance was to check bathrooms every hour, well no! This is how I found the bathroom and after checking every stall no toilet paper at all. Went to the help desk, took her sweet time.. After waiting nearly 10mins and no sign of her or the two other employers I spoke to... Went ahead and opened a Napkin roll(yes I paid for it) and used the bathroom. Very disappointed, if my 5yr old would of been with me and this occurred she would of had a full blown accident!BTW now they charge 3.00 fee on debit card transactions of 100.00or more..

The place is the scum of the earth. It seems like every employee there was trained to be as rude and ghetto as possible. More than half the items in the store have no price tag so you have no idea how much you are paying for something and there is no organizacion what so ever. The entire place looks like a dump. If I could rate negative stars I would.

Omg! Disorganized, long line wait and staff arent ever available to assist customers. Overly crowded on a daily basis, line wait at least 30-45mins or longer. Overly priced items, charge for bags, and sometimes sell expired foods/beverages. I recall most recently purchasing an expired apple juice. Now, I usually check expiration dates, but this particular date, I didnt and ended up purchasing/drinking a expired beverage. Point is, staff obviously arent disposing of expired goods or checking the dates on each item daily. Not to mention, they need to hire/train more cashiers. And develop a better check out process for customers where itll be a lot faster and easier to have someone bagging groceries.

Great place to shop, it has a bakery, meat counter, sea food counter. Its like a sam club but without the membership.

The gas attendant left the booth with a gas station PACKED with cars. She walked out with no backup and Ive been waiting for gas for a long time now. Will never come here again and WILL NOT recommend this place to ANYONE.
