This is a great local neighborhood grocery store. Feels good shopping somewhere that isnt a corporate chain, and they honestly have some great specific items that are hard to find anywhere else. Being on the edge of Rogers Park, it caters to a diverse community with pretty different culinary preferences, so as someone who enjoys trying new things, my options here are awesome.Prices are also pretty decent, with some things being wonderfully priced and other things being less competitive. But, either way, for a grocery store its more than reasonable.I was able to easily purchase all the things I need for a burrito at home, so 10/10 for me.

Great as an everyday market, though you can spend five bucks and walk away with a big bag of slavic treats.

Devon market is a really good local eastern European ish grocery store. Good produce. Quality meats. Solid selection of regional sausages and brands. Not price competitive mostly with a Jewel or a Dominics but way more likely to have specific ethnic food items.Plus they have a giant pickle barrel.

This convenience store is incredible! I couldnt decide when and where to buy Asian goods in the capital. This supermarket, on the other hand, had a large selection of Asian products. They all have the most welcoming and friendly staff! AWESOME! Stongly recommended!

This is definitely a nice little neighborhood grocery store with good buys. The orange juice in the front side section which was made fresh by Nora. She was quite kind and was great to interact with. Carlos (De Venezuela I believe) also was amazing to interact with. He was on Crepes sampling duty and it was refreshing to chat with these two individuals apart from the good buys you can find here.

A really organized store for groceries! I have bought a lot of things here. Their services were fantastic, and the clients were so welcoming and polite to their employees. If you live near this store, try to visit it. A lot of fresh items can be selected. Five stars, boys, for you! Cheers for your accomplishment! I highly recommend this to my family and friends. I was just walking down Devon and saw this spot and thought i’d stop in for some milk. What a great and varied selection! There is food from all sorts of culinary traditions. The workers were very kind too. I’m gonna be going here for my next large grocery run for sure.

A great convenient local shop when Aldis and Target are too far. The fresh baked bread is great (half off loaves after 8pm) and they offer vegan products if you look around a bit. It can be a bit on the pricier side.

Fun place to shop - they always seem to have have small runs of obscure eastern European products. I love their fresh pita bread and the fresh lepinje. Need to be a bit choosy when selecting delicate produce which I dont mind. It is a small format store which I would not recommend for people using mobility aids as the aisles are quite narrow and pallets of product often obstruct. There is no public toilet/ changing station. Usually has short-date discount product in the back of the produce section

Awesome neighborhood market. Fresh and cheap veg and fruit. Crazy assortment of beers and wines form across the world. Best priced arrachera. Everyone who works there is so nice. Did I mention fresh baked breads? Yep, they have it all!

This place sells very fresh and delicious fruits and veggies. Every step is taken to ensure the safety of the customers. Can find variety of different things from all around the world here. Nice and friendly staff.

FYI - they take EBT as well. I didnt see it on the page. This is a great small grocery store, although they have a lot to choose from. I love the homemade salsas and Mexican rice. Its always busy so you know its a good place to shop.

This local market usually has at least 95% of what I need for the week. Great ethnic sections. Love it.

This market is conveniently located and has a great veggie and fruit area with some good cheeses and meats as well as decent breads. The dry goods and canned goods are expensive, but its a small business after all so it comes with the territory. I believe that they offer a senior and student discount which is great for the community. There are always produce sales happening and the staff are decent as well. I think that this is a great place to run in a grab something last minute or to find a specialty product.

Devon market is probably the best grocery store I have ever been to. This place is filled with good vibes and the sweetest workers. It is also has such good produce at a reasonable price and yummy pressed juices that are so fresh. Me and my girlfriend go here at least everyday just because it is such a happy place. If you havent been to Devon Market then you havent fully lived.

This store was a cut above the rest. Fruits, vegetables, and meats were all new. If you get hungry while shopping here, there was also a small food court. There are several things to choose from!

Wide variety. Decent prices for veg/fruit and meat. The homade breads are amazing. Not as clean as I would like. Checkout can be slow.

They got almost everything you need, prices are reasonable.

Everything is way over price here. Just a few blocks west there Cermark Market. Same products at a cheaper price. I live 2 blocks from this place and I only go there if it is an emergency or something really quick I forgot to buy for arecipe. It is really outrageous.

I just want to rate them today because I really think they are doing the best they can to handle the pandemic, theyve taken the most aggressive efforts of any grocery store Ive gone to.Whether you like Devon Market or not depends on what you want out of a grocery store. If you want name brand, prepackaged, convenience foods (no judging, I often do) you can get better prices and selection elsewhere. They seem to markup these items more, and I think thats on purpose so they can sell their more unique and multi-ethnic goods for prices that are often surprisingly good. Its amazing the variety of international goods and rare finds they have available and for good prices. Theres been many times Ive found ingredients deemed hard to procure at this place, and I love that. I really think they are more meticulous at most about their margins to make these products more accessible, which I appreciate. Also amazing produce and great butcher department.The aisles are hard to navigate at first but its worth it, because this store surprises me every time with new and exciting products to try. Its not Jewel, its certainly not Aldi, not even a Whole Foods. Its a market designed for the multitudes of the neighborhood, and for someone who enjoys cooking its an amazing place.

I love this place. Have been coming here for years. It doesnt have absolutely everything a chain grocer would have, but itll get you 80% there. Plus, it has a lot of food from many countries you wouldnt find at your average grocery store.Over the years theyve expanded their offerings as well. About the best youll get from a neighborhood grocery store. I almost never feel the need to go elsewhere.

Ive been going to this market for the last decade, and its lovely. The produce is generally very fresh and affordable and there is a large selection. I havent bought many meats here but theyre also generally good from what I have seen. The deli counter is great and has a large variety. There are many authentic ethnic foods to try. Everything is reasonably priced. I will say if you are trying to get boxed food like spaghetti or mac and cheese or canned soup or something there are cheaper places for that sort of thing. But they are available here so you can one stop shop if youd like. In the past decade Ive dealt with 1 less than ideal employee, and every single other employee has been pleasant and helpful. You cant really ask for better than that. There is also a great selection of wine. In the last year or so theyve started carrying a variety of prepackaged foods as well such as cake slices or sushi rolls. These are also generally good though I do not believe they are made in house.

Good neighborhood grocery store !

They cater to the many ethnicities in the area so you can find many specialty items that arent available in national chains. They are in my neighborhood and open until 10 pm.

It is an interesting store for sure and they have some unusual products. They have many types of feta cheese and it is the only market I know of that carries the Amish milk I like to use for yogurt. The biggest issue I have is that the aisles are so narrow that it is difficult to social distance. I have to say that, in general, the clientele seem to be pretty unaware when it comes to allowing a proper distance. So, that is really an issue of the moment but it is significant.

This is a pretty small place with a lot of different food for people from different cultures. Free spacious parking, friendly and professional staff and reasonable prices - lower than Jewel Osco, ALDI, etc. I like this shop, its a good place to save money and buy products of high quality.
