This is a great grocery store! It is always impeccably clean and the service is wonderful. The selection is a little limited but I love supporting this store.

Always a terrible shopping experience. The worst customer service. Rude employees all around. Pésimo servicio al cliente. I only shop here when I don’t want to go all the way to Pete’s and I always regret it.

It’s a decent food market, but the meat isn’t really fresh at all. It’s super old and chewy. The butchers give you a lot meat than you asked for. Place is a bit expensive lol.

This goes for the Restaurant part. I ordered food and came to pick up. Literally standing for like 15mins by register with no one acknowledging my presence. Place was not busy at all, had to walk up to ladies and still get an attitude from them. Without customers you wouldnt have a salary. Dam.

My mom loves getting the meat here. Specially the arachera (Skirt Steak) for cook outs.

La chikita its a grocery store that has a big variety of Mexican products which is good but i think its one of the expensive groceries store around the Little Village area

Went there yesterday to get carnitas,the carnitas are so bad!!!they literally put pigs ears n scatter everything in there,nothing but junk.

No one greats you, even during the check out process, everything is overpriced, if you ask for help be ready for the attitude. It almost seems employees are told to treat customers with no respect. If youre looking for great service and low prices, head on to Cermak Produce, its worth the 5 minute drive.

Great Mexican food

This was my first time visiting La Chiquita Supermarket. The actual place visited was the adjoining Taqueria. The Taqueria was referred by a friend, who frequently eats there. I ordered a dinner plate of grilled chicken breast, rice, beans and salad. It was ok. Nothing really outstandingly delicious. Minimal flavor, no dressing for my salad. I ordered a Squirt to drink. It wasnt very cold, so I asked for a cup of ice; Luckily I am bilingual. Its a big space. Indoor Dining. Masks were worn.

I prefer this Chiquita then the one on the corner of Central Park and 26th street

Always get what I am looking for.

Decent store. Good prices, good selection of products. Not a large store so theres a small selection of meats, cheese and bakery items. Not a lot of produce available but overall its a good store. Didnt have any issues with my visit. Parking is available here.

Good place to buy groceries, only reason I gave it 3 stars is because on 2 occasions I purchased sweet bread from the bakery and it was bagged with the meat which ended up contaminating the bread.By the time I was home it seemed like there was blood from the meat on the bread so we ended up tossing it away.

I had chilaquiles rice and beans. I like them because they were very hot and spicy really hot. not for the average person who doesnt eat hot food. Other than that they were average.

Buy the products that are only on sale But sale is what a product is usually what u pay for at a regular at a major supermarket.. I go there because its walking distance from where im at But i would rather go to Food4less or Peorias Butcher shop.

Ive been going here with my mom since forever to buy groceries but Ive never gone to their restaurant. Its a good decent place. I see most people here complaining about the language barrier. Well thats not a problem for me since I speak Spanish.

For a long time these stores have had the worst customer service. Most employees dont speak English. Or do and pretend otherwise? Dont expect a hi, goodbye or thank you. Not going to happen here. Prices are generally much higher. Most of their Chicago customers are a captive audience because only store in walking distance. At least there is a grocery store within said distance. Only good thing I can say.

The cashiers are friendly. The prices are great when things are on sale, bit high for regularly priced food items, found cheaper prices for same or similar items at corner store.

Ive always liked this place and enjoy the late hours. This time I came to buy fruit and this fat security guard kept following me around everywhere I went to me dirty looks and pretending that he was not. Very rude and made me very uncomfortable.

Has good fruit and chorizo, also has great mexican buns to die for. Yummy.

Very racist they do not like white people or black people coming in this store. If u ask a question you never get an answer just a blank stare with i dont know or oh no just like Family Guys housekeeper. Think theyre trying to get more inclusive. Had a black person running a register.

Prices are ok, not the best or worst. Its kind like a mix of a Cermak Produce (and Im not talking about the fancy ones) and a Fairplay... And way below a Petes Market. They have a good stock of Mexican stuff and a little panaderia inside which is always good.

I hate writing bad reviews on places but this one is a must! I honestly cannot stand when the place is almost empty one table with 3 people eating and too top it off they were almost done eating when me and my dad arrived the waiter took our order, it took the cook almost 30 min to get our food out!! Ridiculous I can understand when the place is busy but this is not acceptable

We sat ourselves and we waited 10 mins or more to order our drinks. The waitress only took the order of a drink of ONE out of the five. We had to call her back. Then we ordered our food and she went and ate herself while our food was ready. We tried to ask our servers but they all gave attitude. Theres an older lady who doesnt do anything and complains about everything. Our waitress then came to ask us if everything was okay and if we needed anything else because she was going to leave. She said this with attitude and eyerolls. This been the worst restaurant Ive ever been to. Get better food service who actually care about the customers.
