Makes no sense why youd buy a jersey and customize it for $150 but a baby jersey gets extra $40 fee for customization and if that werent enough the guy stood there until we were done like if we were going to steal something. This place has horrible customer service! I ordered two t-shirts on July 2nd and still havent received any information for my order other than it is awaiting fulfillment. I attempted to cancel my order and they stated they cannot cancel and orders take up to 14 days to process/ship. Well, its going on day 18 and my order still hasnt shipped. Ordered a Christmas gift Nov 23. It hadnt shipped by Dec 10 so I emailed them and was assured it would ship and arrive by Christmas. It finally ships Dec. 15 and of course doesnt arrive by Christmas. I keep emailing, they keep saying its not their problem they shipped it. Finally get notified its delivering Jan16!!!! It shows delivered but it never arrived. Will never deal with these people again! Do not recommend!

I live in Georgia, but every time I come to Chicago I pick up Cubs gear from Sports World. I have purchased hats, t-shirts, hoodies, and jerseys. Service is always friendly, and prices are reasonable.

After and order got mixed up, they made things right at a cost to themselves. I compared official apparel between SportsWorld, the official cubs store (at the stadium) and MLB.com. The jerseys are all the same, but SportsWorld had the best selection (only store carrying womens blue customizable jerseys) and the best price. This will be the first shop I look at for all things Cubs.

I ordered a jersey online weeks ago for a Christmas gift. I sent an email requesting an update on the order information as it was a gift and received an email with a refund for my purchase. They did not give me any explanation, nor ask if I were willing to wait. I would NOT recommend purchasing from this company. The owner says they wrote me twice and refunded me a week ago. Possibly the worst online order experience. Four weeks since I placed my order and still havent shipped. Called and email several times but could never get a straight answer. Finally got a refund after almost five weeks. Will never order from this place again.

Absolute worst customer service, communication, and help I have ever had at a company. I bought four products on September 29th with the guarantee that it would be a 10 business day wait before shipping. It is now November 1st. I have called five times sent three emails all with broken promises. I was told I would receive a refund and call back each time I called due to the time that has passed. Today I get an email stating the items have shipped and they aren’t giving me a return. Like I explained to them it’s been way past the wait I was told, I was told I’d receive a refund, and the items were presents the our kids coaches. Which the day has come and past. These people are money scammers. Don’t waste your time or money there. I will be emailing the owner of the company as well.

I Do not recommend buying from this company. The product took about a month to arrive. I was fine with that but I was not given any notifications about when it shipped or what was going on with my order. I had to message customer service multiple times to finally get a response. Never got money for my return. I ordered a large sweatshirt as a Christmas gift. The sleeves were too short and I had to return the item. In the mean time I ordered a different sweatshirt that worked out fine, no exchange, just a new item since I didnt want to wait. Purchased a jersey online and it was a size too large. It was a custom order, we went to the store (we live local) and they were able to exchange same day doing the custom work in the shop. My daughter took a trip to Chicago and brought me a Cubs hat. She didnt notice a broken clasp and we live in Alabama. I called and spoke with Tony, who was more than helpful and told me I could return it for an exchange. Couple of months go by, tracking receipt for insurance is lost and by last resort hope I call and speak with Tony again. He assured me that they would take care of me and sent another hat that day. Each interaction with the entire staff was such a pleasure. Everyone was as so incredibly helpful. Tony is an incredible asset to their company and is the sole reason that I will be ordering from SWC for many years to come.

Worst customer service!! Youd think theyd be friendly and willing to answer questions being that theyre obviously catering to mostly people visiting Chicago. The two guys at the back register acted as if we were bothering them when we asked for merchandise from behind the counter. Didnt even get a thank you for shopping there....Go into the actual stadium store. Same merchandise and same prices, but friendlier people.

Have contacted the store FOUR times (two online and two on the phone) for assistance with a return from beginning of November. Each time promised a response back from sales team and gotten nothing.I will give a pass for original issue in which I was given wrong product. It was probably the busiest day of their existence (parade day).However, simply needing assistance in returning an unused hat due to not receiving itemized receipt (did get credit card receipt) should not be this difficult. I have worked retail before so I understand the time of year can be hectic. I have been nothing but polite and patient with those I have talked to.I am actually posting this so that someone working there may see it and assist me. Nothing else seems to work. Ive both shopped here while in Chicago and just ordered a custom 2015 authentic on field cool base jersey online as the flex base ones look like they have a diaper attached to the bottom. They have last years authentic cool base jersey still in stock. I saw a lot of iffy reviews about shipping and customer service. Let me tell you. I ordered my Jersey on a Saturday and it arrived less than a week later. The person I spoke with via email was pleasant and professional. I am very happy with my purchase and the service I received. If you want a custom pinstripe jersey and dont want a flex base diaper jersey order from here while they still have last years in stock. Dont get me wrong the flex base is nice just not the pinstripe ones unless you tuck it in. Thanks sports world chicago. You all are awesome.

Their service is useless. They all want your money and they will not communicate with you for your order upcoming or exchange or whatever it is. BEWARE! please make sure your order is correct because if you change your mind after you received the package and you will have to pay both shipping. They will not provide you a shipping label for return. Whats more, they has attitude on the phone. I will not order there anymore and this is my first lesson. Their service is zero star, their prices are rip off, and greedy business.

TERRIBLE PEOPLE WORK AT THIS STORE. Ive bee to this store a few times this year and every single time the workers have been beyond rude (I dont know why I went back) but I purchased a good amount of overpriced world series gear and specifically asked what the return policy was. I was told 30 days with a receipt....I asked multiple workers at the store. I went to return a few items and was told no returns on world series gear and the man pointed to the worlds smallest sign that I guess had been posted, but the day I bought the clothes there were about 200 people in the store it was chaos. I explained I was told I had 30 days the man proceeded to be completely rude to me and said they had new people working that day..... Im sorry I dont see how thats my fault. Beyond this the workers were just so rude and could care less. Absolutely no customer service. I ended get a store credit but the thought of even going back there makes cringe because this people are the ABSOLUTE WORST. My advice is to shop ANYWHERE BUT HERE. They dont deserve your money or your time. Other store owners in the area are super nice.

Absolutely terrible. Went here after a Cubs game and bought a $25 shirt. However, they told me the price they were charging me AFTER they swiped my card. They charged me nearly $40 for a single shirt that was supposed to cost $25. Upon returning home I thought about the price of the shirt vs. the price I was charged and called the store to inquire as to why this happened. They said that their sales tax is 9.25% (even with that included, I was still overcharged about $13) and that they couldnt do anything about it because I had already left their store. Unbelievable customer service. Even though the official Cubs store across the street is busier, Im sure it is a heck of a lot more reliable. Wont ever be shopping here again, and I advise you save yourself the hassle and do the same.

This website is awful. I was trying to buy a gift for a family member. i ordered a hat that was in stock. A few days later I get an email that says you have been refunded. I guess it was not in stock. Against my better judgement I picked another hat and made the purchase. A few days later, I get an email again, stating I was refunded for my item. I guess they dont have that hat in stock either. I took my business elsewhere and will never use this website again.

Ive shopped at the store for decades, but their service and integrity have taken a huge dive in the last year or so. Ive ordered items that have never arrived, had to dispute payments over orders that just plain disappeared, and have found their stock in the brick and mortar store to be lacking.Its a very sad thing to see a once great business deteriorate, but this store has definitely become much less of a destination for Cubs apparel and other items that it used to be.

Be very careful with this store. We purchased a Jersey and the price tag showed $119.00, my son and I debated if we should pay that much or wait until we got home to find a lesser price. Ordered a jersey on Amazon ~3 business days before Christmas, and it arrived on the 23rd. Realized I ordered the wrong size and emailed them asking about an exchange, seeing as I surprisingly live about 5 miles from them, I drove to the store today and exchanged it for the correct size with no issues. Terrible customer service.Before placing an order I called in to confirm the item would be delivered on time for a birthday. When I was assured that it was I went ahead to place it online. I got a confirmation email and then nothing for another week. When I called in again I was told the item was scheduled to start production and would be shipped in 3-14 days from the order date. They insisted that this language was on the website, but Id never seen it and it was not mentioned by the employee I spoke with.Not only did they refuse to refund, cancel, or do anything to expedite my order, but when I mentioned potentially disputing the charge on my credit card they simply hung up on me.

Terrible. I placed an order for two jackets online with them. They stated it was in stock and ready to ship in 4 to 5 days. After two weeks I noticed item never shipped. I contacted them and they told me it was a custom item. I sent them a notice to explain to me who the jacket I ordered is a custom jacket, when there is no customization and many others sell the same jacket. They never replied to tell me how it was a customized item because they know it is not. After four weeks the item still hadnt shipped and I requested a cancellation. They refused and told me I have to wait to receive the item and return it and pay a restocking fee. But they never even shipped the item. After multiple attempts of trying to get them to cancel the order and no luck, I got a third party involved. The third party manage to get them to cancel the order after a month and the item never shipping, if you read reviews on this company you will find a pattern of them never shipping items. Keep away from these people.

I have been advised by all three ladies that Julius will call me back because he is the only person who can give me a status on the order. What?! Are you kidding me? Why would you have a customer service department in place if they cannot give an order status. Well, Mr. Julius Murda - you are serving the people of Chicago and surrounding areas a horrible service and experience with your company. Dont like the review for your company, give me a call. You have my number. Maybe this will get your attention.

My experience with this facility has been on-going for a month, as I have yet to receive my orders/purchases. At first I thought this was a great site, with excellent deals, and I was hoping to make more future purchases. But all I am aiming for now is to receive my Christmas purchases and then not use this site again. Even with the Christmas rush, and the UPS/Fed-Ex back-up, this does not excuse the poor uninformed non-autonomous Phone Customer Service, this area of business has great room for improvement. Caveat emptor! Read reviews before purchasing and read the fine print prior to checkout. It could take weeks to have your custom order made and another week (or more) for shipping (depending on how much extra you are willing to pay for shipping). Customer service is all too ready to cite the fine print if you have questions regarding your order and the employee I spoke with (who sounded either gay or very immature) repeatedly hung up on me because I asked for his name. Ultimately, I filed a complaint with PayPal and they canceled/refunded my order shorthy thereafter.

This place is horrible! I went in with my girls to buy a jersey and my two friends already had there jerseys on! I was trying on jerseys and I went to pay and the guy at the cashier said I could wear it out I asked for my receipt and he gave it to me on my way out I was not only embarrassed but harassed by two big guys talking about I did not buy my jersey I had showed them my receipt and they still didnt believe me! I had to walk to the cashier with the guy that I checked me out and he said I was okay I paid and he even said sorry but the other guys no then they wouldnt let my friends leave because they had jerseys but no receipt so they had to go on snapchat and show these guys pictures we took at 7 pm just so they could let us go! When they didnt even buy the jerseys from there! It was so embarrassing they made a big deal in front of everyone I am definitely calling the manager today I want a refund! So upset with this service!

I was informed that the jersey would arrive just after Christmas, on the 28th. The order had not been shipped, and I called and asked about the shipment and was told that I would receive it by the 2nd of January. On the 3rd of January I contacted them again and was told I could not change the shipping address or cancel the order, although it still had not been shipped.Now, I have to have my parents (Who I was visiting for the holidays) ship the jersey to me when it arrives in North Carolina after I have left. I contacted this company multiple times and their customer service was very far from helpful. I was told that this was my fault (although I was deceived by this company multiple times) and I just had to deal with it. I will never buy anything from this company again.BRIGHT SPOT:All of that being said, Jenna from customer service was extremely helpful and resolved my issue (I contacted her from their website in the Live Chat function). I paid 80 bucks for 2 hats and the same hats were on the website for 22.00 less. I had to exchange one for a larger size 2 days later and he made the mistake of telling me the one I was returning was only 25.00. I said whoa. I paid 80 for both, how much was the one I am wearing. He said, that one is more. I was very vague, didnt offer an itemized receipt and was a little shady. The products are good quality but be careful when ordering. They may try to rip you off. It was really my fault for not asking why much.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! We wanted to custom make T-shirts for good friends of ours as a wedding present that stated their new last names with Mr. and Mrs. on the back. This was all clearly outlined and confirmed in the order form we filled out online. We instead received Mr. and Mr. shirts. We had to call the company, were then directed to fill out a return online, and then it took another phone call to confirm the incorrect shirt. We then waited almost 2 WEEKS for the other shirt to arrive, only to find it with the back stating Ms. and printed on an incorrect shirt size all together. Our friends are to be married in 4 days, I only hope we are able to give them their present that has taken us over a month to try and have in hand. I would NOT recommend this company, and they will not be getting our business in the future.
