They have almost anything you need, and at very low prices. I highly recommend. Theyre especially awesome around Christmas time. I normally get all of my stocking stuffers there, and things for the house there.

There televisions are refurbished.... there not new! I bought a tv and when I went to input it asked for a code!!! Called the company number not working, I took it back and they gave me a hard time about the box! I threw it aw at because the tv worked! I didn’t know I wasn’t able to plug a system up, but the tv was suppose to be new! No code on the instructions 🤦🏽♀️
Before pandemic the store was better. They remodeled and now are charging the customers for it.

I appreciate finding a place where I can purchase home furniture at a very reasonable price. Quality was good on most of the sofas, sectional, and tables. Mattress prices are good for most hard working household, selection satisfactory. Someone finally gets it; nice affordable furnishings you would be happy to have around for a time and redecorate without guilt.
We went for sunglasses (which we couldnt find! Shocking!) But came out with other stuff LoL its not as cheap as it used to be though.
Everything is really reasonably priced.It reminds me of a cheaper Costco.I was also able to sign up for fast internet for $35 and sign up for the free solar program and it saved me 20% on my ComEd bill!If you havent been here then you have to check it out!!

The delivery service was an absolute disgrace. They hustled me out of $60 after I paid for delivery saying my sofa was too big to fit, yet I was then told that if I gave them an extra $60 dollars they could do it. So after paying the extra money they had no problem getting my furniture in my house. Im totally unsatisfied and feel cheated. I will be calling the news investigation on them.

I ordered furniture un May. I specifically asked will there be a delay before placing an order. The sales rep reassured me that it will take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. I got a call stating that it would now take 8 to 12 weeks. 12 weeks pass and I guve them call to be told that part of my furniture will be here next month, which I seriously doubt and the rest will be here in December. December! And they also told me that they still waiting on other customers purchases from last December. So you lied to my face. Now they have $6000 of my money and I still have no furniture.

We bought some furniture from here about 2 weeks ago. Before we went to the store we went to the bank to take out money because if you spend a large amount of money in some places theyll put a fraud alert on your account. So to prevent this from happening we took the money out. One of cook brothers workers in the furniture area who rung us up said one of the bills I gave her was counterfeit. We told her that it was impossible, the money came straight from the bank. She stood in the corner behind the counter for about 20 minutes before returning the hundred dollar bill back to me. The next day we took the money back to the same bank and spoke to the bank manager and the banker who helped us. The called the Better Business Bureau so we can file a complaint and they filed a complaint against cook brothers as well. They also made other call to some other people. In about 30 minutes they showed up to the bank and asked about the situation. They were shocked when I told them they gave us the $100 bill. If a store is counterfeit money theyre supposed to keep it and contact the authorities. Be careful if you shop here.

I bought furniture here in April 2021My furniture got deliver in a pick up truck. On top of that they had no dollie to put the furniture on. And on top of that I was suppose have a rug deliver as well with my furniture. Unfortunately they call and said the rug got watered on from the warehouse so unfortunately they could not send it out or nor did they have one to give me to replace 😏. So she said they can deliver one in two weeks when they had more rugs. I was sure Np I can wait or unless I decided to come in and get my money back. So a few days later I went to cook brothers and ask the girl at the front desk can you check to see if you have this rug in stock (the same one that I was supposed to get deliver) so she checks and says the last rug was sold yesterday. So I was like wait a min how can that be, when’s you’s told me you had none in stock to be deliver to me? Well her eyes open wide enough to know they was on BS!!!!! Never again will I go to purchase furniture there. Watch what they tell you when you don’t get something you purchase!!!! Got my money back for the rug and purchased it somewhere else.

Pretty good warehouse-like store, the interior redesign is better than before and everything is very noticeable and clean. Pretty much a cheaper target which can bad to some but good to others.
The store has reopened and remodeled. I have been there 2 times since and it has been extremely clean and well stocked. The cashiers were cranky but overall it was a pleasant experience both times. Oh and kudos to the food stand...

Cook brothers has terrible quality electronic and appliances. They dont offer refunds so avoid any at all cost unless you have to. however you can find cheap clothes, socks and a handful of other decent things

Seems like deals when you first walk thru the door. But as you keep looking and actually see the products you realize this is actually a dollar store on steroids. Their products are things that you would get off wish or at a cheap dollar store so it looks like your getting a deal but the quality is lacking severely. Yes there are a few hidden gems in there but again you get what you pay for. Just keep that in mind
Wanted to buy a rug, I paid for the rug but it had the wrong item number and price on it. I had to go back to the furniture desk to get it settled. Then the customer service representative gives me the runaround so I can buy two different rugs. I would not recommend buying furniture or rugs or anything here. The only saving grace is the furniture representative, Dawayne, who was very professional throughout the ordeal

Store, has been around since the late 80s probably early 90s, and is a staple within the latin/black communities, and still going strong, after all these years!!! Competing against Walmart, Costco, and Target!!! Lets keep supporting this dedicated store, against the Mega stores!!!
