Overall this is a very nice office. The place looks to have been remodeled since my last appointment. The staff were very friendly and inviting. Following COViD protocol by folks sanitizing their hands when the come in, cleaning the glasses before you try on, and allowing folks to try on their glasses in private in another room without their mask. My only problem was I took the day off from work to have a complete eye exam. I had a basic exam and was told to make an appointment to come back for pupil dilation. That would have been nice to know up front before I made the appointment. They knew why I was coming! I would have gone to another establishment to have the full exam had I know this. Other than that, nice experience and will still patronize.

Dr. Ross went even beyond, beyond, his usual superb professionalism and examined me after severe injury on a thoroughly on a quasi-emergency basis. James was, as always, thorough and helpful. (I look forward to conversing when I return.)

This was my first visit to Rosin Eyecare and it was definitely was a great experience. They greeted me upon entering and took care of my registration. The doctor was on time and the exam was thorough. I will not hesitate to return to this facility again. Very professional and highly competent people work here!

Extremely happy with my exam and the process- Dr Ross and staff were amazing and the office is lovely; with great parking options . I was able to pick up my frames within a week. Overall, it was seamless . They had great frame options and the exam was very skilled /efficient (new equipment ). So, happy with my experience- would recommend to all ages of patients( graciously accommodating).

I called twice but no response. Left a voice mail but never heard back. Finally just went there to see if I could schedule an appointment but the door was locked because they are operating on appointment only and the two employees actively avoided acknowledging my presence until I gave up and left. Its worth going to the loop to go to another Rosin where theyll at least have the decency to treat me like a customer.P.s. they close at 2:30pm on Saturday, not 4pm.

I love my new glasses. Turnaround time was quick. Please invite guest in though out the cold, give them hand sanitizer and take temperatures but get them out the cold weather!!!

I have been going to Rosin for my eye care needs for years. The same staff has been there each time I went. Chanel and Harold have always taken good care of me! Dr. Ross is also great! I love that location and plan to continue going there as long as I can!

They were very friendly and personable. The eye doctor explained everything and the staff helped me determine what my insurance would and would not cover and it was easy for me to choose my new glasses. Great social distancing and checking temperatures and washing hands throughout the appointment. I would recommend Rosin in Hyde Park for all your eye care needs.

The staff made sure everyone was safe from Corona virus by checking temperatures and using sanitizer after every person got up from the chair.The also practiced social distancing.The doctor was very informative and friendly. Very very very bad store couple days ago I need only little fix on my screw on my glasses which I purchased at that store they didn’t wanna do it without appointment even I suggest I’m going to wait outside of the store because from my point of you that’s going to take only 20 seconds to screw that in because I had everything just my glass was falling down and they didn’t wanna do it very very bad never gonna come back. Suggesting everyone do not come back to that store they treat people like Trash.

Their staff and doctors are some of the best I’ve experienced so far. They’re kind, relatable, and thorough with the appointment process. Even with COVID-19, they have maintained these characteristics and always ensure that the patient receives the best care.

Place is a joke, I took my son in mid September 2020, it is now end of January 2021 and I’ve still not received my son’s glasses. I’ve called multiple times, and only once was I actually able to speak to someone, who told me there was a covid outbreak so there was a delay... it’s now been over 5 months, no attempt from their office to contact me, no returning my calls. Go elsewhere.

Good safety protocols. Competent staff and good frames. Satisfied with my sun glasses, but glasses are SO expensive- not just at Rosin, but every place.

Covid-19 procedures are in place before you walk in the door (mask and temperature check). Handwashing was required immediately after entering. I visited Rosin Eyecare to purchase new glasses. The staff was very professional, and I was pleased with the quality of my new eyeglasses when they arrived.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment. Upon my arrival, I was greeted immediately. As soon as I completed the necessary forms the doctor was ready to see me. There was barely a wait.I received a thorough eye examination. The doctor was very patient with my questions as well as my reluctance to perform some tests. (Some things are just awkward.) At the conclusion of my visit, I was immediately seen by the optician who assisted me in finding my frames and ordering glasses. I received my glasses in less than a week.Very good first time experience.

The staff is great.So, why the 2-star rating? The hours are far too limited to be practical for people with jobs. Also, the turnaround time for orders is slow, which is unexpected for a place that charges premium pricesI want to emphasize that the he eye doctor was great. The other staff members were friendly and professional. But the company needs to consider the current marketplace and make itself more competitive with convenient hours, lower prices and quicker execution of orders.

Everyone here is so friendly and nice. They take very good care if you. They let you know what your insurance covers and how much you will be spending before you do anything.They have a great selection of frames for you to choose from. I actually needed help and I was helped choosing a frame.My husband saw how friendly and professional the folks at Rosin Eyecare was, he changed his eye care professional. He also had an exam a couple weeks after me for contact lenses. He thought this was the easiest contact lens exam and fitting hes ever had.Rosin Eyecare-Hyde Park is our new place for eye care.

Pleasant and professional, ensuring clients take advantage of all the services and benefits of the program and insurance. I have never had the same optometrist for my visits; however, they are thorough and careful, explaining each detail of your procedure and treatment.

Every time I go to this facility I walk out with a smile. All of the staff are so welcoming and informative. They also remind me about my appointments and keep me up to date on when to pick up my contacts. The staff is also very understanding, with my busy schedule and try to work around the loop holes to get me appointments and make sure I can see the doctor. I appreciate all the care I receive from the staff here at Rosin and its definitely a place I would recommend to my friends and continue to visit.

The process was great and the doctor was very friendly and explained the process of everything he was doing. All fine until I sat down with one of the salespersons, I believe her name was Chanel.Based off of what she did, it’s safe for me to assume they work off of commissions, which is fine but when you start adding stuff to my eyeglasses without my permission and then I ask you why does it cost so much and you fail to tell me about the $90 extra feature you added is where I have a problem. Extremely unethical.I literally had to tell her to print out an itemized breakdown of the cost before I paid because what she told me verbally was not adding up. When she printed it out, I immediately saw the charge that I didn’t ask for (and that she forgot to mention verbally).

I appreciate the people working in the office. They we friendly and helped me find a style of frame that would look good on me. However, I’d still give this location a one star because it’s been two months since I ordered my glasses and every time I call back I’m told they should be done by next Tuesday. I would expect more prompt results from an Eyecare professional.

There has been a staff change since the last time I was there. This current staff is nothing short of phenomenal. They were very helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. The day I was scheduled for my appointment they were backed up but remained professional and courteous to the end and every patient received the same treatment and this was a Friday and an hour before closing as well. The optometrist was very nice and well read in his profession. He took the time to explain every step of the eye exam and to answer questions thoroughly. Nice to see that these types of businesses still exist.

This location provided excellent customer service and goes out of their way to assist with any insurance issues or questions.

I was very happy and satisfied with my care and service with the front-end management, as well as the optometrist. Dr. Washington was very friendly, thorough and took extra care with my eyes to check for any dryness since I am currently a dialysis patient. Great team at this Rosin location. I love getting my sons and my eyes examined at Rosin Eyecare in Hyde Park. Theres plenty of parking in the lot and the surrounding shops are always fun, in addition to the fact that there is live jazz playing in the courtyard in front. Professionally, the staff are very nice and the practitioners or optometrist are knowledgeable and patient and explain what they are doing. If they find any abnormality you are referred to a specialist or ophthalmologist who can further look into your situation. I give Rosin Eyecare Hyde Park 5 starts.

The Rosin Hyde Park location is a nice place to go for eyecare and eye wear. Dr. Smith is professional and pleasant. She was very patient with me in trying to get a specialize contact lens fitted. She encouraged me to hang in there and give it a try when I wanted to give up. I would recommend this location to anyone who needs a eye doctor and glasses or contact. The other staff is also very nice and professional.

The doctor and staff was wonderful. My glasses I had problems with the frame. But they replaced the frame at no cost to me. Now I have great vision thanks to my new glasses..

I was impressed with the doctors knowledge and his willingness to share the details, process, and reasoning for each part of the examination. He was very thorough.

Service was great and had a much larger selection of frames than I expected. Glasses and contacts both came in quickly - less than 2 weeks after eye exam. Also, have convenient weekend hours.

I came in for an emergency appointment minutes before the office closed for the day. Dr. Ross was actually packing up when I arrived. The wind had blown some debris in my eye, and it was badly scratched, causing extreme discomfort (I could barely keep my eye open). I offered to come back the next day, but Dr. Ross kindly encouraged me to stay. He dealt with my issue very efficiently while still maintaining excellent bedside manners. He and the rest of the staff showed empathy and thoroughness in their care.This was my first visit to Rosin eye care since I do not have a local eye doctor. After this experience, I intend to return to this office for future, routine eye exams, etc. Thank you for your excellent level of service!

Last time I was there, I was talked into purchasing insurance for my contacts in case of tear or issue out of the package, and I really didnt want this insurance. I called recently as I had an issue with a lense and was told this insurance that Id never used expired two days prior and they couldnt help me with a replacement. TWO DAYS! Id been to this location multiple years for exam/contacts so to keep a customer I would have gotten them a replacement lens. Instead, Chanel tried to tell me my eye curvature could change overnight and that my eye was probably the issue. After a drive to the burbs, I got a free trial lens from my cousin who works at an optometrist and of course it was the lens... Not my eye! Ill not be coming back after having been a loyal customer. Take care of those that support you!
