Great service! Team was very knowledgeable and helpful. Only optical in Chicago that can make glasses for you, same day (depending on your prescription.) Jaquelina was very very helpful!! Along with the rest of the team and doctors 10/10 recommend.

He changed the lens and adjusted my glasses within I think less like 30 min . He is very kind and made sure they fit good !! My glasses aren’t sliding off my face and I am not straining !!

Best service I have had getting an eye exam. They had a great selection of frames, doctor had good beside manner and helpful staff. They also accepted my eye care plan. Glad I found a new place I can get my annual eye exam and lenses.

I’ve been coming to this location for almost 10 years and have no interest in going anywhere else. It’s the same core people who work with you and they are knowledgeable, helpful, caring, and professional. I don’t have insurance that covers glasses and they still give me a discount to offset the cost. Whenever anyone asks for a recommendation, this is where I send them!

Everyone was great, and so helpful in helping me go through the wonderful selection they have. My glasses came in quickly and I had great personal attention with adjusting their fit. I highly recommend this Pearl Vision!

Always great to deal with these guys. One time my glasses came in and they delivered them to me in Rogers Park when I was in bed with the flu. This last time, they charged $90 for a new lens in an eye which had cataract surgery and that included the exam with an optometrist. Cant say enough good things about the Lincoln Ave. store.

My last visit was not my best experience at this location... previously I would have easily given this location 5/5 stars. To begin with, I felt like they were not being very considerate of COVID precautions - at one point there was 10 people in the store area of their relatively small location. I struggled to find a place to stand where I was not within 6 feet from someone else. I also had to wait over 30 minutes from my appointment time. Finally, I had never left without getting a pair of glasses in addition to my eye exam and contact lens; nobody even tried to help me pick out lens! It may have been because Amber and Jeff were off; these two sales have been beyond superb in the previous visits. Overall, I was disappointment I made the effort to come to this location and would not do so in the future.

Horrible Very unprofessional and dishonest . Went in on Saturday, had someone woman Amber supposedly help me !! Was starting completely new Lens, frames, & Exam . By the next day ( Sunday) miraculously the glasses and lens we’re ready for pick up . I couldn’t make it in that soon . When waiting for Amber to come out with them . I noticed that the glasses I picked out were the only ones missing from the shelve . When I asked her are these frames new or from the display she basically brushed me off and said they were in the back somewhere the ones from the shelve . I inspected them and found the residue from the sticker of the price on the frame . Told her I’m paying $272 for brand new frames not display she said fine I’ll order them takes 2-3 weeks . After paying I noticed the lens had scratches in the inner sides . Horrible job, Customer Service, dishonest staff . Makes me wonder being Hispanic was that the issue ?? How do they know who to to do this too or pick who do it too ??? Went back and without hesitation they refunded me back my money . He’s answer was “Sorry we dropped the ball this time “ wow !!! Honestly goes far !! Shame on that staff !

I would consider myself a particular person demanding perfect vision. This place is top notch, beyond fair with pricing, they are generous and are friendly. They prioritize satisfaction and customer service. All businesses should take note on the way this company is run. If you don’t get your vision care here you may not regret it but I can assure you that this is the place to go if you have the opportunity to get here.

Ive been going to this location since I got my first pair of glasses in 6th grade. Customer service has always been fantastic, selection is great, and Ive gotten really spoiled by the quick on-site services where I get my new pair of glasses same day! By the time I check out the Army Surplus store next door or grab a bite to eat, they are ready. The folks there go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable, fit well and that I take advantage of any deals or coupons going on. I get a family-vibe going here, my mom took me here growing up and I will take my children here as long as they are around.

Quite literally the nicest optometrist - no - PERSON - I’ve ever met in my life. Dr. Andrea is a sweetheart and Skipper made my glasses fit! Literally incredible experience.

Every time I go here it’s an amazing experience. Everyone not only remembers me by name, but they ask about my family as well! They are extremely warm and friendly all the time and I always leave feeling very happy and am in a great mood for the rest of the day. Go to this pearl vision location if you want the feeling of home and outstanding service and care. Plus, they always give the best prices and deals.

Dr. Grote is the absolute best! I’ve been going to her for the past four years, and I can confidently say that she is the best eye doctor for me. She has such a nice personality and really tries to get to know her patients. She is very patient and wants to make sure we get the exact prescription I need. She’s sent me home with a handful of samples and lets me make sure I’m choosing the right contacts. I used to live a few blocks away, but now I’m up in Evanston and the commute is 100% worth it for the quality and care that you get from the doctors and staff.

Spoke with Jeff over the phone. Even tho we didn’t do the exam at his store he was very helpful to get us replacement contacts. We will definitely refer other and give our business to them again!

Great location. Last year helped me quickly and affordably with getting rid of a painful stye hurting my eye. This week my teenager decides she wants contacts NOW. The docs and staff at Pearl were great with the exam, fitting, and their price for a year supply of contacts beat the online 1800contacts so Im happy again. Everyone there is very nice and patient. Even the guy who spent 45 minutes teaching my daughter how to use contacts.

By far the best costumer service I have ever experienced. I worked with Jeff, who was always cheerful, going above and beyond to stay in contact with my old eye doctor, and worked with some difficult requests. When I came in for my appointment all of the staff was incredibly helpful, and made both my kid and me feel welcomed and comfortable. I strongly recommend this location!

They run absurdly late. Scheduled an appointment for 1, was not able to see the optometrist until after 1:30, making me late to my next appointment. They are also constantly trying to upsell you on medically unnecessary additions (which aren’t covered by insurance, because they are unnecessary). Quite unprofessional. (Edited- the actual optometrist was lovely and very quick - actual exam only took 7 minutes max)

Great experience. Dr. Geiderman was very professional, informative and helpful. The check up took less than 20 minutes. The staff was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend quite a few frames that met my requirements. The color of the frames that I wanted were not in stock, but the staff was ordered a pair for me to try out. Within 3 days, the frames came into the store and I was contacted to come in and check them out. The lenses were ready after 30 minutes of my approval of the frames.I am very pleased with the experience and the service. Would definitely return for my next checkup.

Everyone at this store has been incredibly helpful, kind, accommodating, and patient with me, from the receptionist who booked my appointment to Dr. Johnson-Grote, who answered all of my anxious questions, to the woman at the desk who helped me choose my glasses to the man who not only retrieved my glasses but invited my dog into the store AND gave him a treat. Fantastic service, great atmosphere.

I had a great experience at this location. I met with Dr Ralph Giederman, and he we fantastic. Very personable, hes been in the area almost 30 years. Excellent location! I do not typically write reviews, but I had such a good experience, that I wanted to let others know. Dr. Andrea is friendly, knowledable, and helpful. She provided a clear explanation of my contact options, detailing the pros/cons of each. And Mr. Castorena did an awesome job of walking through my insurance, calculating out numerous options I had between glasses, sunglasses, and contacts. Then did a great job of helping me pick out a pair of sunglasses. Also, great selection of glasses/sun-glasses, efficient appointment, and nice venue. Highly recommend!!!

Easy to make appointments. First appointment there the staff in front gave me so much time to help me find the perfect pair of glasses for me. They gave fun advice (seriously, did we really talk about the relationship between brows and frame?), they gave votes, and found better and better options for me WHILE STICKING TO MY BUDGET**. Good experience. Second trip there, the doc did everything she could to make sure the contacts Im getting are just right, which they are. Their glasses maker made some adjustments for me. Glad I found this place. Honestly, I found them one day on a whim...I was walking by and wanted to get my glasses physically straightened out (werent sitting on my ears right). They did it in a minute and for free. Give these guys your business!

We went on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. I did feel a bit out of place here (since were not from Lakeview). If you dont know me you may look at me and think that I dont speak English or something.. Lol.. Those are the kind of looks I received from the other customers in this store. The gentleman who took care of us was very nice though. Just dont come here if you are a minority.
