Really disappointed. The store is big with 3 floors of clothe and shoes.Unfortunately, my experience was not positive at all. I bought the new Vaporfly Next the weekend before the Marathon and I’ve received a pair of shoes that looked like already used. I tried to change twice. But after long waits, finally I had to return them and could not used them for the Marathon. It’s a pity that an amazing brand as Nike, sell their products in these poor conditions. Specially with these kind of shoes that their optimal use is 250km
Located in The Magnificent Mile (669 Michigan Ave.) of Chicago is a great Nike Store. But, being in one of most famous and touristic places of Chicago, I dont understand two things:First, how is they dont have more multilingual personal?Secondly, why they havent the first official t-shirt but have the second of Barcelona FC.
Nike is a great brand, awesome clothes. But whoever chose this building to be the Nike store surely didnt do their homework. From the outside its an old, beat down concrete building that more closely resembles a century old bureaucratic bank than a worlds leading sports clothing company. Moreover there is not a even a Nike logo anywhere near the door or front facade of this place.Inside its a different story, still an old beat down building with cracked floors. But the displays and clothing layout make it feel less of a jail and more of a store.Primary reason for my low rating is that I couldnt find a sales rep on the 3rd floor, after literally making two circles around the floor I was able to locate the single employee working there, and he just came down from the floor above.Good brand, but a bad location.
This store is very busy and customer service is very lacking. Even at checkout the employees were unnecessarily rushing rather than take the time to help. On top of the unwelcoming atmosphere, the atmosphere is too crowded as stated.Throughout the store you will find trouble finding an employee to help with a purchase or get more information, it is probably worthwhile to go to a Nike outlet location instead or order the items online for the amount of money they charge here.
Never a negative experience when I am able to come into this shop!! This particular store certainly has some wonderful employees! I was able to get in and find the items I needed for a very reasonable price! Not to mention the assistance I received when I was struggling to find an item. Absolute wonderful experiences! Cant wait to go back!!
Good selection of clothing and foot wear. Options for all sections of the community. Could add notes on type of shoes. I had to keep asking for details. Sales team was patient but eager to close a sale.
This large Nike store is fun to stop, easy to find something on every floor from all sports. I have many Nike shoes for obstacle running, marathon, triathlon and strength exercising. And their clothing is awesome; I like their fitted shirts, Nike Pro as well as their 7 inch shorts. Overall I’ll keep coming back, on weekends they are very busy but manageable.
How about some more attendant people to help get shoes. After searching for one, he scanned it... Had someone else complain to him that they needed help and then disappeared into the back. When he came back out he had no shoes for us and walked right by and over to someone else looking for help. After that found another rep... He got the shoes but when I asked for the disposable socks to try them on took about five minutes for him to come back out with them. In that time I found someone else that had found some in a bag on the floor. I dont blame the reps here... Its chaos in the store... Need a better process. Tried using the Nike app to scan the qr code on the shoe and request it that way but the qr code couldnt be read so just another broken process.
So I went in looking for just a plain colored womens golf polo and I realize its not golf season but they literally had one white polo. For such a large facility there really isnt a lot of clothing to choose from. And its mostly just Urban streetwear now. I was really disappointed. Luckily the staff was tremendously friendly and helpful otherwise they would really have one star.
Service is pretty poor. Expect to be left waiting for over 15 minutes. But I love the clothes... Shop online if you can avoid it. Kudos to the great mannequins though
Ive made several visits to this store, various days and times, and today was the most disappointing. I was on a mission to buy a new pair of sneakers, I found my way to the third floor, decided on two different pairs of shoes, requested my sizes, then was just handed the boxes before the sales person walked away.Theres a reason why the specialty running stores do well, theyre customer service is near unbeatable. Their sales associates really know everything about the brands they carry and what works best for the individual who is shopping.Today, I wasnt asked how my shoes were fitting, I wasnt asked if I needed any help as I started picking up a few different styles, and I was only given a generic response when I asked what the difference was between two styles. The best service I received was upon checking out downstairs and as I was exiting the store, I was thanked and told to have a great day. I would have given 4, maybe 5, stars had a shred of customer service existed.I am pretty stoked about the pair I bought but I cant say much about the shopping experience itself. Nike, I think you can afford to put more money into training your associates to be real brand ambassadors and put customer service standards at the top of the list of priorities.
Very nice! There was a vagrant BEGGING infront of the store and said something out of the way to me and my husband. My husband was about to get him then out of nowhere the Chicago PD came in plain clothes tell us hes not worth the butt whooping he was about to get.... glad they were there to protect and serve. The workers in the Nike store was very nice and professional too.
I was one of the first people in the store this morning and not a single employee came up to me to ask me if i needed help finding my size in the shoes i wanted. the store was completely empty and employees were talking to each other rather than helping one of the only customers in the store.employees were rude to me when i asked for help and barely communicative with me. if all nike stores are ran like this i will take my business elsewhere from now on.
Love this store. Best place to find the newest in Nike gear. Changes every month.
FANCY. Love all the displays and the gear that Nike is coming out with. Definitely worth a look even if theres no chance youll buy anything
First time visit with the granddaughter...I love seeing things through her eyes. She wanted something from almost every section. She scored some really cute running attire. Kids clothes are super cute, no one at school will have that outfit!
Best staff around. Really helpful, have a lot of stock, and overall great experience every time.
This place goes without definition! It is my always favorite shopping place and quality is amazing, I wear their winter clothes, it really comfortable and keeps me worm! The shoes they sell are really comfortable n great! I always recommend it to my friends.
Very nice store. good choices for men, women, kids. Very pricey when you can go to other malls around town and spend less. But great experience
I went to this store on my last trip a got a pair of vapor max, so went back this trip to get the new release store was very busy and a bit short on staff . The staff that were present did their best and tried to help all of the customers. Maybe a couple of extra hands on deck today would have been better and less stress on the staff .
If you cant find what Nike piece of clothing/article you are looking for here, you will not find it. Three stories of Nike goodness! Or was it four? Like a kid in a candy store!
Its a great store I bought pine green 1s here. Nice experience
This place was unreal. Amazing time and amazing items. They really had the Chicago Marathon on lock. Awesome merchandise. Unbelievable items available with a funky vibe. They had guest DJs playing music all the time. Very lively atmosphere.
Big huge five story location on Michigan Avenue. Great shopping! The place is huge. I mean HUGE. I think its three levels. They even have an elevator and escalator. I love looking at the running shoes. Wish I had the funds to buy every pair along with a million pairs of sweats and quarter zips and sweatshirts. Theres no limit to the amount of damage I could do in this place if I had a huge spending spree here.
After long time again I went to buy Nike shoe. They had a lot of variety. Running shoes I purchased. Its nice. Nike team member helped to get correct size and quality shoe.😀
This Nike store is awesome. Four stories of awesome apparel. The storefront changes once a month too which is pretty amazing.
Very nice store, lots of room even with the crowds, 3+ levels its all sorted and spread out by sport types, may ways to access all levels with elevator, stairs and escalater, it was nice to see they had a small area for plus side not too much but a few options, the college athletes always love to visit and shop there!
I have never been so disappointed with retail in my life. The management staff at this location does not care or does not value their customers. July 3 I purchased multiple items and some were shipped to my home. We are missing a pair of shoes from my shipment. Ive been trying to call the store and fix my problem, but no one has been willing to help me. All 3 managers there have lied to me, promised they will call the carrier and call me be back. That never happened. I have reached to their district manager for help. All Ive been asking for someone (a manager) from the Nike store to do is to call the carrier to verify the claim so that I can be refunded and repurchase the shoe. I dont even want the money back. 3 weeks Ive been trying to get the resolved. Hours on the phone. Im on the phone right now on hold 36 minutes. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR HELP FROM THEM FROM THIS STORE, DO NOT EXCEPT IT!I wont drop names in this review, but they should be ashamed of themselves. They have poor customer service and communication skills. I hate that I have to even give them one star. (thumbs down)
Visited the store throughout the Chicago Marathon race week and after. Very nice store. Excellent staff. Ricky was especially helpful and very knowledgeable about the products. Thanks!
For such a big store they have very low inventory and extremely limited selection in shoes. So disappointed. You have more chance in finding better shoes in another store like finish line. Sevice was also awful. They were all huddling in a corner and never paid attention to customers. We practically had to interrupt their little social meeting for help and even after that they had to make pit stop to chat some more to other co workers.Bad service and experience.
The most underwhelming Nike experience Ive ever had. Theres practically nothing in store even though its massive. Its minimalist approach is a hard fail. Retail stores in the area had more variety and more unique footwear than the actual Nike store.
Pretty incredible Nike store. Dont come here looking for a deal, frankly, I didnt buy anything. If you want the newest Nike clothes/shoes and have the money to afford it then stop in. If you are just a tourist it is worth a quick peek to just see all that the huge Nike brand offers.
Large Nike store on Michigan Ave in Chicago with five different floors of goods. There is plenty of staff to answer any question or order from. Pricing is above average since it is in Chicago. The fifth floor has the new items that have not been released to the public yet. Plenty of items to choose from.
I just loved it. It literally had everything that I wanted from the store. The employees were great, everyone was super kind to the customers.
Staff was excellent and very knowledgeable in the products they sell. Plenty of stuff you dont see elsewhere, especially in the NikeLab that sits on the top floor, only accessible by elevator. Definitely would recommend to anyone interested in shoes!
Manager Joi was super nice, and knowledgeable. Gav went above and beyond to find a plus size color block bra for me. Keep up the great work!
A very large Niketown right in the heart of Chicago on it’s principal shopping street. The Store is big set over a number of floors, there’s a great choice of Nike sportswear for all sports. The local Chicago Bulls, Cubs & Bears are all represented. There is also a great range of Jordan sports wear, the bulls greatest. All local sponsored college teams are also represented.Worth a visit
Their store was open at 9AM for a private event and there was NO signage outside showing this. Do better.
Yikes. the layout of the store is really nice, but the staff is very slow and not very helpful at all. I waited 10 minutes and wasn’t helped, even though there was hardly anyone else there. When I realized that no one was going to help me, I got up and asked an employee for help. He seemed very annoyed by my presence.
I would agree with many of the reviewers that they lack in customer service skills. Its simple, say Hello, have you been helped? They are no Nordstrom Ill tell you that. Cmon magnificent mile Nike, just do it!
This is a great store if you know what to look for, and where to do so... but if youre a first timer like me, then you probably dont know where to go because its so gigantic. I mean, 5 levels with escalators?! Wow, this is one huge Nike store! This store deserves to be on the Magnificent Mile because it has such huge inventory. However, as youd expect for it being a big store, its hectic, and hard to maneuver yourself around. Also, the staff are hard to be seen. Theyre either helping other customers, or theyre non-existent. Im not going to give a 1-star rating because of that. While I had trouble myself, Im sure if you can find someone to help, youd have a good shopping experience there. Oh, and the Air Jordan logo made with bunch of golden Air Jordan shoe silhouettes are pretty cool.
First time Ive been back to Nike Chicago since it was Nike Town years ago!Very clean. Lots of cool art and Chicago inspired things on the walls.
Very cool store. I love the design and layout. Didnt see anything I wanted to buy though. All the styles were just a little off in one way or another.
This is another store I love going to get shoes but I like to go to shoe carnival more
You go here for the Nike experience. Their merchandise wasnt much different that was sold in other stores. Was looking for unique Nike Chicago items like Under Armour has. Didnt find anything like that
Seriously....dont put your phone number anymore on google maps, its useless. Nobodys answering, we are from suburbs and just wanted to ask if the shoes we need is available but called million times no ones answer.
I love nike I just wish they have more of a selection there
I roamed around for a good 40 minutes and nobody wanted to help me. When I did ask for help they said theyll be right back because theyre helping out another customer.
Staff was very helpful. We explained that we were told by a phone rep, (not from this store) the football cleats were at this store. We discovered that they did not have the cleats my son needed. The staff was very helpful with alternative cleats and suggestions.
I only visited this location for about ten minutes because the particular style of shoe I was looking for wasnt available, but I went through a process that included Nikes service. The shoes there, from my past experience, have been good and high quality. The service at different locations are different but theyre all not too bad. This is a big location, almost like a warehouse, and usually has a okay amount of people milling about in the shop at every hour. Id like to say that this Nike store is more busy in the afternoons, but I cannot confirm that.
Last time making the trip to this store. I love Nike, but after most recent remodel there’s practically no inventory.
Just had a great experience shopping for new running shoes in this store! The guy working in women’s shoes, Gav, was very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. I bought a pair of Zoom Flyknit which feel like walking on marshmallows, and might go back to get some metcons🤔. Thanks for a great shopping experience Gav!
Its a nice location but very small selection for kids. Didnt have much to choose from. The customer service was good.
This is the best Nike experience I have had. I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. They were quick to assist and were able to help me find the shoes I wanted.I came in on Sunday looking for a specific shoe, which they had, but not in my size. They didn’t mention they had a shipment coming the next day with the size I needed, which was disappointing. I chatted with a rep on the app who said they had restocked, so I went back and sure enough, they had them. Very happy with the store, but better communication would be appreciated.
Staff seems to have personal conversations more important than serving clients as I watched couples looking for anyone to help . Place could use some managers that are conscious
I loved every bit of the Nike store, from the shoes to the overhead music. I will definitely visit again soon. :)
Love this store. Best place to find the newest in Nike gear.
This is a nice Nike store, always crowded but its normal since its in the middle of magnificent mile in Chicago. They have a good rotation of shoes and try to maintain the latest models out on the displays. Staff are nice
