Absolutely THE BEST phone repair shop in Chicago. Ive brought my Samsung S8+ for screen replacement, after trying to have it fixed by 3 other people (who only messed it up even more). One of those other people repaired my screen with used screen full of ghosting and messed up fingertips sensor,, the other one installed new screen but messed up charging cables and made phone useless since it couldnt charge. I got lucky to find these guys. They saved me. Z was amazing, repair took no more than 10 minutes. Phone is now good as new. And the price was totally unbeatable. Called 5 other stores before coming across this one and all of them were asking 20-30% more. Thank you Z.

I brought in my iPhone X today to fix my screen that had gone completely green from water damage. I got a new internal screen and glass screen, along with a free glass protector, for a great deal. I can tell the colors and resolution are definitely a bit off from my original Apple screen, but it is a small price to pay for such a great job and price from DPF. Thank you for helping me so quickly!

I didn’t realize the screen I was getting wasn’t similar quality to the original screen my phone came with. The resolution isn’t as clear and it isn’t as responsive. At the end of the day, I saved $100 by sidestepping apple and at this point I regret that.Additionally, it lasted for about 3 weeks before it cracked again, despite the additional screen protector I was using. Back to square one but will not return in the future.I will say that the service was great and the repair was quick but I would never go here again.STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT A LEGITIMATE REPAIR WITH LEGITIMATE PARTS.

Unfortunately- this guy is not to be trusted (i would give zero stars if i could). I went because my i phone X was cracked. The owner charged me $140 for screen repair and retna disply. To start - that is not a good price. However - i was willing to pay if he could fix my phone. Long story short ... he did not fix it and he was dishonest. I now have no access to my phone.I picked my phone up and right away it was clear that he did not do a good job - in fact, my screen functionality was worse than when i dropped it off (i came with a normal crack, when i picked it up - the touch sense was ruined). Now my phone does not work at all. I will not go back because of how unpleasent my first experience was. If you need your phone screen fixed - PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE. this guy will front nice and then just make it worse. your better off paying more money for someone with credibility. STAY AWAY

Long story short, a third party shop in Mexico gave me a faulty display and I found this shop to diagnose. In 30 minutes, my phone (iPhone XS Max) was replaced with a nice OLED screen and the owner, Z, even helped out with a glass screen protector! What customer service! To top it off, it was pet friendly so I was able to bring in baby boy from the car :)Z was very knowledgeable and quick to address the issue. The price was extremely reasonable. Considering Apples price and their lack to help, I am grateful for shops like this. Thank you Z for the service, the jokes, and everything else that you do!

The shop was quick. They fixed my phone in almost 30 minutes. The price was good. But the spareparts they use, I am not sure how good the quality was. I got a screen replacement for the iphone XS and the colors are looking not good from a side angle. Even tho I got the more expensive Oled screen.

Zee and Direct Phone Fix is amazing. My screen was broken and I contacted a number of places including the ones on Yelp. Zee was not only the first to respond but took the time to ask me exactly what needed to be repaired. Other places gave me a quote but changed the price, Zee did not and honored it. I had been at another repair shop that it would require an expensive to fix my iPhone 7 Plus front screen and battery.The DPF tech looked up the model and assured me it did not require such an expensive fix. Went in a couple of months ago to get my cracked iPhone 11 screen repaired. It was fixed in just 30 minutes, and I was so happy and grateful! At first, it seemed to work perfectly fine, but, as time has passed, my phone screen has gotten glitchier and glitchier. Its gotten to the point now that I can barely use it because my phone screen is totally tweaking out - it switches between apps without my pressing anything, the keyboard barely works, the home button feature does not work, it makes calls without my doing anything. I would not recommend taking your cracked iPhone 11 screen here. Go to Apple instead.

Got my iPhone 10 screen replaced here. Lasted less than 2 months. Subpar parts and subpar service left much to be desired. I ended up going elsewhere to get my screen fixed and had a significantly better experience. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Took my phone in to get fixed and when it was returned it has a little red line on the background. Their 90 day warranty means nothing because when I went back Im told if they fix it again Ill have the same problem or theyll fix it with original parts but I have to pay again for the part. Also I just found out that the front camera lens wasnt cleaned before installing the replacement glass so its very blurry and basically left me without a front camera.Edit after store manager respondedWow I refuse to believe that you dont remember me unless there are more customers that come in to complain all the time. I had a part ordered and Im using my name in this review but you still say Im not a legitimate customer? I still have the receipts and my card statements showing I spent $300 with you because I thought you were a respectable store. We already talked you said original LG parts are expensive and if I want an original part I have to pay for it. Now I understand this but I was never informed that before the repair and that I would be paying $100 for a cheap replacement screen.

My phone was fixed and looked brand new. Great quality and half the price I was quoted at my service provider’s outlet. Definitely recommend.

Ive used Direct Phone Fix multiple times on my Google Pixel and my wifes iPhone. Hes replaced broken screens, old batteries, and replaced the broken-back-glass on my phone. Hes quick and affordable.For the broken-back-glass, his supplier was out of stock for the part, but he didnt mind me ordering the part myself and bringing it in for him to do the installation.

Went to get my Samsung screen replaced. When I got home I noticed my camera wasnt working and my phone couldnt read my sim card. They didnt know what to do when I went back. If you have a Samsung device strongly recommend ubreakifix. They reorganized the mess made inside my phone for free.

I got my iPhone XS screen fixed here on the 8th of November, I paid $111 and it was not installed well at all. Also they made me pay by Cash App which was weird. It was lower on one side than the other and I wasn’t able to click on my camera on my Lock Screen anymore. I was super disappointed but wasn’t sure what to do. Yesterday (the 17th) my phone rolled off my bed onto the floor and cracked WITH a screen protector and a brand new case. I reached out to them and they said I’d have to pay for a new screen. This is ridiculous. Avoid this place at all costs.

I was hesitant to bring my MacBook pro to a computer repair shop instead of Apple store but Im so happy I did. DPF was able to take my laptop right away and have it back to me in one day. Which was so great because I was in middle of my office work. They replaced my shattered screen, ram upgrade and battery. Only charged me less then all repair stores what they have quoted and I know as a fact Apple have cost significantly more. I would recommend this to anyone who wants realizable work on there computers for a fair price.

Great guys here. Started my own repair on an iPhone. Ran into issues on a stupid propriety security screw that Apple uses. I stripped a few screws because the bit I had was low quality. They removed the stripped screws for me and gave me a heads up on a higher quality bit. I was able to finish the job on my own and their recommended bit worked like a charm! Very helpful and accommodating. Go there for any repairs that you need!
