I had to do a quick phone transaction. My person was quick, fast, & polite. He gave me an email & hardcopy receipt because I felt uncomfortable about handing someone my iPhone & leaving with digital proof only. I also saw a screen protector transaction with the customer behind me & their price point is great. I hope I don’t need a phone fix, but this is the place I will go in the future.

Poor communication about their business model. theres zero point in scheduling an appointment time for a company that works on a first-come-first-serve basis. Had I been Informed of that I would have happily been there at opening to be first in line for the daily fixes. a simple sentence from the employee I spoke to on their phone 24 hours prior could have saved me a lot of time and energy.

Have been in here twice already this week without my phone getting fixed. Workers are not clear what they need in order to start a repair and do not offer any insight on how to get there. They do not make this an easy process and want to scam you out of your money. Waste of my time

I scheduled an appointment for the next day which was a Saturday at 1030am to have my completely shattered phone screen replaced. Outstanding customer service, professional and extremely knowledgeable associates, reasonable pricing and the turn around time to repair the shattered screen on my phone was only an hour and a half!! Highly recommend this company to all!!

They were polite, quick and professional. They also told me that I had mistaken a optical illusion with a fractured cover anbd broken screen. They sold me a $10 cover instead of a $150 repair. ON another screen replacemnt they were fast, cheap and good. I love them.

Took in my phone to fix a cracked screen. Got it back and it constantly shuts itself off now. A number of my photos are now deleted and most upsetting, someone went into my profile on a dating app and changed details 😳. No customer service point of contact, cant access their website. The workers in the store were rude, dismissive, and became extra rude once they saw that I was trans from my ID. Ill be contacting an attorney ASAP.

They are AMAZING. I went to have my old phone fixed then went out of town. The manager Lin physically dropped it off at my house because it was on her way home. When have you heard of that?! Insane customer service. GO THERE AT ONCE.

So I wish I could give negative 0 stars right now. I cracked my phone screen, and because of Verizon, I was recommended to go through this service to have my screen fixed. I was SUPER nervous because Ive never done this before, or parted with my phone except at Verizon. I got to the building, and after explaining that I wanted my screen fixed, I watched the man behind the counter UNSAFELY unmount my sd/Sim card. A message popped up on the screen screen the man said its okay. He said there was NO problem with it. I left my phone in their care, JUST to have lost everything on my SD card!!! I lost very valuable photos that I cant get back! I will NEVER be returning to this business again!!

Unfortunately I had I really bad experiences with these guys; I repaired my Note 8 screen with them and the first time I wet my phone it stopped working.... I just wet the phone with water on the shore, and it shut it down immediately.. It was supposed that the repair had to be waterproof but it wasnt, when I went asking for warranty 20 days before repair, the manager said that it was my fault because I submerged the phone for too much time. I guess that he was with me... I just wet the phone, I did not submerge it and it was for a few minutes, for sure no more than 3 min... browsing at the internet I found that Note 8 waterproof is fully protected against any kind of dust ingress. As for the ‘8’, it denotes the handset is resistant to water ingress for 30 mins for up to 1.5m depth... For sure I did not exceed those... at the end! I lost my Note 8 and 295 USD. I dont recommended them at all.

Ubreakifix did a great job replacing my phone screen! The new one is nice and shiny and seems just as responsive as the old one. My only complaint is that online it said that screen replacements could be completed in 30 minutes but when I got there they told me it would take 3.5 hours. I needed to run some errands on public transportation during that time window and had not really prepared to do that without my phone. It ended up working out fine, but I would just say that if you are planning to get your phone repaired here, make sure you are prepared to not have it for several hours. Also, after I had picked up my phone I noticed that they had texted me 40 minutes earlier that my phone was ready for pick up, which I found kind of ironic seeing as they had my phone when they texted me that. But maybe some people have 2 phones?

They were really quick and helpful. much better than going to AT&T or the apple store.

My phones sim card slot was jammed and I broke off the little poker piece while trying to unjam. uBreakiFix Lakeview scheduled repair immediately, quoted two hours, finished in one, and the price was very modest for the labor involved. Fortunately my battery wasn’t damaged and my MacBook was saved. The even cleaned off the keyboard for me and charge me nothing. Fast reliable and efficient. These guys are super flexible, and genuinely WANT to fix your phone. I came in wanting to fix my phone temporarily just so I can back it up and put that backup on a new phone I purchased... they were totally cool with charging me half price for the temporary fix which would allow me to complete my specific task at an affordable price!

I had an excellent experience here. Tl;dr: they solved the core problem at a cost to me of $0.My Pixel stopped charging, so I took it in to see what was wrong. They were clear about what needed to be fixed, the costs, and the fact that there would still be some residual damage to the phone.While I didnt really want to pay for a battery and charging port replacement to an old phone, I did want to recover the baby photos I hadnt backed up yet. The folks at UBreakiFix Lakeview were kind enough to give the phone back with their new parts temporarily, were patient as I backed the photos up onto my home computer, and didnt charge for any of it. First time in this type of store. Google customer service told me that they would cover the costs of fixing the USB port on my phone if I went to this company and the guy at the front desk was so abrasive that Im literally considering not fixing my phone because it was such a bad experience. He acted like I was speaking a foreign language when I tried to explain to him that Google sent me to his store and even after I showed him the email showing that Google was shouldering the $70 cost for the USB port, he made it sound like I might still be charged. Why would anyone want to do business with these people? I havent had a truly bad customer service experience in a really long time and I really, genuinely tried my best to explain the situation to him. Maybe there are other options?

Quick service at a great price! Crack my screen on my Pixel and they were able to fix it quickly. Customer service is top notch here. I highly recommend this place for all of your cell phone repairs.

My phone was water damaged and they “fixed” it for around $270. The phone started glitching, 2 weeks in and has not stopped. The first night I noticed that the brightness doesn’t go up as high anymore. The glitching presses random buttons, calls random number without my knowledge and the screen pops out. Now I need to get a new phone because it’s so bad. Literally go to Apple if you can, I’m mad they charged so much only for it to be pretty much unusable.

Had an issue with my iPhone not charging properly. Made an appointment last week and they looked at my phone and decided that the charging port just needed to be cleaned. They cleaned the port and showed me it charged and cable wouldn’t come out and best of all they did not charge me. Got a customer for life.

I found them on the Samsung site and made a Friday appointment. They were not open when I showed up at 11am. Hours were not online or even posted in their window. I had to call them for the voicemail to tell me the hours. I will try again because there are so few locations. This one is the closest at 5 miles from my home. I cant give them a good rating at this time.

These guys are awesome! Unfortunately I extra broke my computer but they were able to recover all of my data onto a backup drive. They also offer resources to dispose of broken electronics in a safe way. They explained the internal damage my computer suffered in an easy to understand way. I would recommend them to anyone, thanks a lot guys!

It says they close at 7pm but they were closed before that. That’s unprofessional! If your hours are until a certain time then you should still be open UNTIL 7PM. Made me waste a trip just because they decided to close earlier.

This is actually a zero star review. Within an hour of dropping off my wifes phone to have a cracked screen repaired, they damaged the phone further. The back of the phone was in good condition, but when it was returned it was shattered. This also cracked the antena so the SIM card could no longer be read. This was bad because my wife is a healthcare professional and needs her phone for work. The biggest issue though was the poor custermar service. The employees were indifferent to the damage they had done. All he did was give a number to call to make another claim, and then he went into the back providing zero help. I had to yell for him to come back out. We never received any kind of apology from the employee who damaged the phone, who told us his name was Stephen, or from the manager. I would highly recommend using another location to have your phone repaired.

While it took a little longer than expected (Luke squeezed me in before closing time), the price was as quoted and done perfectly. In fact, he tried cleaning the contacts before replacing the charging port. Very pleased and would recommend!

I came in for a broken screen, got it fixed but I noticed the phone wasn’t closed all the way by the screen so I can see the inside of my phone. Came back and they said it was due to my battery expanding - which why tf would you attempt to slap a screen on top of that? So anyway they replaced the battery for me (free of charge) which that’s what they should have done seeing my original bill came out to over $200. A few days later my screen literally went out it had the striped color lines. Took it back in for the third time and they fixed it. I JUST paid for a tempered glass and when they offered to replace it the one they gave me literally slid off my phone outside the store. Idk to each it’s own if I were you I’d save time and have your screen prepared the correct way just go to Apple.

I discovered this repair shop on social media within the last week & I had projects I needed to have completed. The location East LakeView U Break I repaired my iPhone 6 battery in a few hours, which earned my continued business & big kudos to them for that. My next project was physical cleaning & HDMI replacement (most important). However, my last refurbished Playstation 4 i bought from Gamestop was refused due to dead bugs found inside, which I had no idea. My expectations were to have it physically cleaned inside due to aging of the console & reapply the thermal paste to the on-board CPU for extending the lifecycle of the console.As an experienced former Certified On-Site Traveling & in-store Retail Tech, ive seen it all: dust, dirt, dust bunnies from cigarette smoke, spider webs, dead bugs, dust inside the chassis to where its visible by eye-level, cosmetic damage to the Desktop tower, etc. If i didnt sell, my market basket would effect my hours to pay bills. I had to do what I had to do to make business happen for repeat customers. In my schedule, I have a lot on my plate as an a Senior Software Support Engineer, which I cannot tailor to this project seeing as I could have YouTubed the solution & did it myself as the quickest repair . In conclusion, I was not happy to hear it was not going to be repaired, which I feel they are not willing to go above & beyond.A word of advice is to publicly document what services will be refused by a checklist enumerating whats not repairable vs cannot be repaired. Someone else can and will do it with no questions asked. Set those expectations for those who just discovered your business. As a result, your business could become an opportunity for someone else since theres multiple shops in Chicago and/or Suburban outskirts areas of Chicagoland areas with the same repair options & potentially at a lower price.Overall 2/5.

Dropped my PS4 off on Monday. They did their diagnostic and called me and said I needed a new hard drive and that they had to order a hard drive. (I’m thinking in my head, this a electronic repair business, you should have spare parts accessible at all times. It’s like going to ice cream shop and they say we’re out of ice cream to me) but, I said ok cool I’ll wait and pay the expensive cost of 157.00 to get my system back on. Due to covid they state that their orders were all cancelled and can’t do anything for me. Understandable not upset about that.I ended up going across the city to the south side and getting it fixed in less than a hour and paid $80 buckS. Moral of the story, anyone like me whose looking for a repair shop search a little harder. You will find lesser known places that are fair in price, can do it in a timely fashion and are legit shops with a large inventory of supplies.U break I fix has fancy website, cool tracking system, delivery etc but, dropped the ball in all categories in my experience. Won’t ever be back :)

My iPhone screen was shattered, so I brought it here. They completed the repair in less than 2 hours at a more reasonable price than many other places in the area and explained things well. They also have a 90 day guarantee, which is reassuring. Hopefully I won’t need to go back, but I will be returning if I have any other issues!

My iPhone5 battery was literally dying (It drained 1%/min) so I found this shop and was able to change my battery in less than 20 minutes! I used the Yelp deal so it was even great. It has been a few weeks since I visited here and my battery is lasting really long! Very satisfied and will definitely revisit.

I have used them for both my phone and computer issues/repairs. Not only are they knowledgeable, theyexplain every step in explicit detail yet in a way that even the most technologically inept (yup, thatd be me) understands. Definitely stay away from this “repair” shop. The first red flag was when I walked in for my appointment and the person working asked what phone I had and told me they’d check for the part. What was the point of making an appointment and giving my information if they weren’t going to even check if they were prepared before I got there. This wasn’t a huge deal because they had the parts they needed. The first REAL issue was after they replaced my screen my fingerprint sensor stopped working. I was frustrated but since my phone worked otherwise I just ignored it. In the month following my screen started to crack at the corners without me ever dropping it, just from me placing it down on the table. After that, the screen started to have phantom touches where things I didn’t press would be pressed, making typing and using my phone absolutely impossible. Now, the phone doesn’t even recognize a charging cable being plugged in and I am just going to have to get another repair. I recommend you stay as far away from this shop as possible. They did so much damage to my phone that it would have been more valuable to throw my $90 in the garbage. I will definitely be making sure none of my friends make the mistake of bringing their phones here to be destroyed.

Lucas was AWESOME. I needed help getting my ipod fixed and he was fantastic every step of the way. He always kept me updated (the part needed to be reordered as the first one didnt work) and when I picked it up it was like new. Plus the price was really fair.I will absolutely be a return customer should anything else of mine need repairs.

Amazing service at UBREAKIFIX. Very knowledgeable, friendly and quick people working there. Price for reparation was very fair. My camera lens was broken and Luke suggested to replace the camera instead of changing the lens only, that way photos are 100% clear. It took a little over an hour (instead of the 2 hours that he said it would take) to replace the camera. Very happy with the service!

They replaced the battery on my two year old Pixel XL. They were professional and courteous and were finished in two hours as promised. They also installed a complimentary screen protector. Now my phone works like new. I was very pleased with their service.

I brought in my iPhone because it was not charging properly and I had problems with the charging port in the past. Cesar quoted me a reasonable price for replacement of the port ($70ish) which they had in stock and could fix that day. I got a call about an hour later saying that they cleaned it out and that it is working fine now, NO CHARGE. They could have very easily not told me and charged the full price and I would have had no idea. Trustworthy guys and will definitely be back.

My husband had a loose connection inside the phone causing the speakers and charging port to malfunction. These folks were amazing and Luke & Cesar helped to get the phone up and working again free of charge since it was just a loose connection. The BEST! Some rain dribbled into my headphone jack and water was showing up under my screen. They opened up my phone and dried it out for FREE! It works perfectly and I didnt know what else to do but say thanks and highly recommend them for any tech needs.
