The worst place I have ever been. I just needed a screen change for my a50, everything else was fine. They put another screen, they damaged the sound of the cell phone and the battery now runs out very quickly and the whole process lasted a month and a half. I dont know why this place has good opinions with how bad it is.

My phone needed a screen repair. I was told on a Friday that the new screen would possibly arrive on Monday and he would call when it came in. A week later he told me the same thing. After a month and several attempts to contact him I went to UBREAKIFIX in Norridge and was able to track the progress of the repair online for the same price. It was fixed in a matter of hours.

I provided my own battery for the iPhone 7. Ordered on eBay. He only charged me $20 to install it and change from my old battery. Works great! He showed me the old battery and gave it back to me.

Had a broken phone recently. Had it repaired back to perfection in a quick time frame! Would definitely recommend!

Got there just as they opened at 10am and they took care of me right away. Only took 15 minutes to replace my fully cracked iPhone 5S screen which also wouldnt even light up. Fixed my phone for a fair price and put me in a good humor for the rest of the day too. Highly recommended!

Well to start off, I have called so many other repair shops before to get prices and they all were too highly priced.... I heard from other people talking about a place on Belmont called CELLFONE MD. I decided to call and get a price for a new screen on an LG Thrill from At&t and the price was more than reasonable and most of all Affordable.I was able to pick up the phone the next day in the morning when all the other shops quoted me up to 3-5 business days. If you or a friend need something electronic fixed, i HIGHLY recommend this place. The two guys that work there are friendly.

I brought my ipod into this store because the sound was going out. I bought new headphones thinking it was just that, but apparently that wasnt the problem. Very versatile people who can fix pretty much anything on an iPhone, or any other smartphone. My first visit there they fixed a light on my 3GS, it was done quickly and they cleansed the inside of my iPhone of all corrosion. Since then, theyve been fixing all of my cracked screens and all my other cellphone needs. I highly recommend them. They know what theyre doing.

Went in to get my iPhone 6 screen fixed, and the two gentleman couldnt have been any nicer. I actually thought I had the 6s and Michael informed me it was actually the 6 and would cost less than he had originally told me. He could have easily taken advantage, but didnt. The process was less than 15 mins and I was on my way. The screen is perfect. Id definitely recommend them to friends, and come back if I ever needed another phone fixed!

I went into this store expecting that my iphone 4s was going to be a paper weight.They told me to leave it for 30 minutes and when i came back my phone was like new! i dropped it on the ground outside and it was shattered the front and back. The track ball on my blackberry curve 8900 stopped working and I wasnt able to navigate through my phone or check my work emails. I brought my phone into cellfone MD for repairs and expected to leave my phone for at least a day for repair, Instead I was out 15 minutes after I walked in with a new trackball for just $30. The t-mobile repair center wanted to charge over $50. This place has quick and reliable service.

These guys are frickin awesome! My IPhone had a major crack, and the screen was all white when I turned it on. So I brought my phone in, they looked it, and 7 mins later they were done!!! WOW !! Superb service !! I took my iphone 5 for a display problem, he checked it and immediately he had a new display which he changed. Then he discovered that there was a mother board problem which is actually causing the display problem. He is very knowledgeable and quick. He helped me in taking a backup of my iPhone as well. Since it was a mother board problem, he suggested it was not worth it repairing the mother board and he returned it. He did not charge a fee for checking this, he siad he doesnt want to charge because he didnt fix it. His initial quote for this was extremely nominal and he is definitely not after money. He means quality work !! I also had a Google Nexus 5 which had a headset jack missing, he replaced it within 2 mins. I would highly recommend anyone to go to this place for repairing a smart phone !!

I shatter my glass from my Samsung Galaxy S3 back in August.I ordered the replacement glass online, thinking I could do it myself but after watching the How-to videos. I did not want to take the chance of doing it myself and breaking something internally. I honestly didnt have the proper tools for it. So my buddy told me of the Cellfone MD where he took his phone and got it fixed. So I took my phone and the replacement glass there this past Saturday afternoon. When I arrived there, Luke was fixing the same phone as mine with the same issue. He had me check out what steps/tools he had to do replacing the glass. To be honest, it was so much of a hassle doing it myself. Came back in an hour and my phone was like new!Highly recommend this place for anyone who had the unfortunate event of breaking their glass off their Samsung phones.

Brought my iphone in to get fixed it was shattered on the front and back, and they were closing up for the day, it was like 7:01pm They took my phone to fix and i watched some tv. This Place WAS my life saver!!! After almost a week with dealing with my iPhone 4 Screen being cracked I had no other options but to get it fixed and ASAP!..Low and behold I came across this place on Yelp after almost 3 days of trying to find a cheap and quick place to get my phone fixed and I MUST say this place delivered!... I came in roughly about 5:45pm and I almost went in expecting they couldnt fix it and the guy without a hesitation quickly said yes and said it would be $80 installed, which was pretty reasonable and most places were lokoing for $89-$115. The place is small yet very inviting sat on a couch and watched some T.V the guy said it would be about 30mins. He also asked if I had wanted to replace my lock button which also needed repair, but I was on a small budget and told him thanks but maybe next time.I sat and within about almost 20 mins he came back out and said my phone was done and he even repaired my button at NO ADDITIONAL COST.. YES FREE!! which was really nice of him and my phone is good as new maybe even a lil better!! lol It does come with a 90-day warranty which is nice, I dont expect to be back hopefully not if I take care of my phone lol. But overall Id recommend this place to anyone!!!Sometimes Local is BETTER!!!
