I just purchased my 3rd Lexus from McGrath. This time around I wanted to upgrade to a new UX250h. I typically work with Bill Tacker who has been great over the years. He started the process but the car was delivered while he was on vacation. He took the time to introduce me to Alexandra P so she could take care of me and get the paperwork done. Alex has great energy and was very professional and lovely to work with. Nick N introduced me to the new technology of my car....for the 3rd time. He always makes it fun when it comes to learning about the technology. Such a great team that help me this time around.
I had to make a last minute appointment to see the car on Saturday evening and McGrath showed nothing but professional until I left the place. What a pleasant experience. Jesse Fakhoury made the whole process seamless and it was one of least stressed car purchases as far as I can recall. The entire staff was extremely professional all the way until the car was delivered to my driveway. Well.. Even after delivery to be exact.

She has been patient, knowledgeable and has always made sure we were getting what we wanted. Alexandra helped lock down the best make and model for us as well. Have been using McGrath Lexus to service our vehicles for 5 years and have always been impressed. Tony B. and Robert Z. have been awesome to work with, with Tony being my primary service rep. Tony always takes the time to listen to all my concerns, never being dismissive, understanding that small things are big things to owners. He has always been honest on what needs to be done vs what can be deferred, and where he can, works on pricing. Having issues addressed via the extended warranty programs have always been easy with Tony as the team must have a collaborative relationship with the warranty companies due to their honest work. I have only taken my Lexus vehicles here but wouldn’t hesitate to bring my other vehicles there as well. Top notch all the way.
I’m always greeted upon arrival. The location is always clean on the outside and inside. They personally assign someone to you for your maintenance which is awesome! 🤩 The waiting room is nicely furnished with multiple areas with reclining chairs, tv’s, and even a fireplace which makes my wait super comfortable.
Went in for scheduled maintenance, was recommended I flush and fill transmission fluid and was quoted $479.99. Called another dealership and was quoted $249.00. GM said they made a mistake and accidentally added an extra hour of labor to my invoice.As to whether I believe this was an honest mistake or not, I’m not sure but they did correct their mistake and offered a discount on my final bill. Please double check your itemized bill and get a second opinion if something seems high.
5 stars to McGrath Lexus Chicago. I worked with Daniel to get my scheduled maintenance done. He was exceptional in keeping me up to date with the progress of my servicing. They also did a decent job with fixing a couple wheel scuff. You pay bit extra but this a dealership after all and they have to pay for this establishment and the staffs. It all adds up when you get great service and their staffs are very nice. I will definitely recommend this place.
I would send my friends and family to Bill Sharma if theyre looking into buying a Lexus.I came in to pick up a car that I ordered when my sale agent was on PTO that day, so Bill was just helping out. Bill spent the whole day helping me even Im not his main customer.When I got into the delivered car, it didnt have all the features I expected. They had to have someone to exchange it from Rosemont and boy it took a long day for someone to transfer it between the different locations.We came in around noon and didnt finish the transaction until 7:30pm. I think everyone left at 6pm because thats their youre regular hour. Bill stayed with us the entire time even after hour. Hes an example of excellent team player that deserves much appreciation and recognition, especially in the environment that involved commission.
I trust McGrath Lexus of Chicago because they treat me like family. Andy and the entire staff should be employees of the month everyone month because the quality of service is impeccable !
Very nice people who answered all my questions and concerns. I was consistently updated about the status of my car in a timely manner. I also loved that the core and the environment of the waiting area. Those chairs were nice, plush, and comfortable.

Not satisfied with my maintenance this time. I had 50K miles required maintenance, only oil was changed and I pay for new windshield wipers. The car had low tire pressure, low key battery wich wasnt taken care off. Car washed only from outside. Pretty mediocre service wich you get in Jiffy Lube or at some local gas station.These are prepaid services I get when I bought my CPO Lexus and Im expecting higher and better service!

I always feel confident in servicing my vehicle at McGrath Lexus of Chicago. David, my service writer, reinforced that confidence with his professionalism and understanding of my needs. As always the fleet of loaners is new and fun to drive vehicles, my 2021 NX was just that.I was surprised to get one that was pretty dirty inside, which was surprising, seeing that we are just recently pulling out of the pandemic times and some people are still nervous.

I called and scheduled to bring my vehicle in for service. I had to request the service advisor three times before he confirmed my appointment was scheduled and I would be provided a loaner. When I arrived at my scheduled time I was informed I had no appointment and the service manager would have to approve me for a loaner if available. I was told to wait for the service manager he would come and find me in the customers lounge. After thirty minutes I located the Service Manger in his office. I informed him (Frank) of the inadequate service I had received and explained I needed his assistance resolving the issues and getting me a loaner. Frank was argumentative and rude. I requested my vehicle immediately and departed the dealership.
This place is amazing. Im from out of state and had a car crisis in Chicago. Dan Howe and his team took care of my car immediately and got me back on the road asap! Amazing quick work!
I was able to get a same day appointment when my “maintenance required” light came on. From start to finish Frank V. explained everything to me and corrected the issue I came in for. From now on I will be servicing my vehicle at this location.
Everything was very efficient from the check in to the status. They sent me a text with all of the information so I could send a text back to the coordinator. He managed everything including the shuttle to pick me up at home so I could go back to get my car. It was very efficient and everyone treated me with great respect.
Consistency is the word for McGrath LexusMy family has purchased multiple cars from McGrath. The service is top quality. I had a 100000 mile check up and a detail. My car look and drive as it did when I purchased it 7 years ago. Last but not least, my service rep Andy Pak, is the best.
I have been taking our car here for service since we have owned it. Most of my experiences have been decent where I would put this at 4 stars. The main issue I have had in the past which was exacerbated recently is their timing and scheduling of appointments. I had an appointment for regular annual service (think oil change, tire rotation, check the car) at 9:45am. When I arrived at 9:35 am I was told that it would be at least 2 hours before my car was even looked at and that it should be done in 4 hours. This was frustrating as I wondered what the point of an appointment is if there is a 2 hour wait just to see the car. Overall, it was not a big deal as I could rearrange my morning some. Approximately 2 hours later I received a text telling me my car would be ready by 5:30pm. This was incredibly frustrating as I would then again have to rearrange my day. I called to find out what was going on and they said my car was ready now (which is not what the text said). I explained my confusion and frustration with their communication.Aside from unexpected issues arising when inspecting the car, I feel as if a service shop of this caliber should be better at scheduling, communication, and predicting times.

Usually the service is excellent. Todays experience was met with various issues. The cashier was pleasant. Unfortunately, I had to wait over 30 minutes to find out why my car was not coming down. They finally told me they had to find car. They eventually found car with the incorrect tag. They identified by Vin. I had body work done at fix it & brakes front & back, maintenance & tires. I said I really wasnt comfortable paying for bodywork until car examined. I paid in advance anyway. The body work was not complete. Emblem replaced & installed incorrectly. Wave feature not operable. Then they wanted me to drive to autobody shop to fix.. No time children waiting to be picked up after school. I get in my vehicle & it was empty no fuel from driving back & forth to body shop & wherever. Exasperated I went to speak to mgr & he agreed to fill vehicle up with gas. So inconvenient
This was an out of state purchase and I thought it would be a headache, but the sales rep Gary Sowell made it a smooth and worry-free process. I would definitely buy from them again.

This dealership provided one of the best shopping experiences Ive had -between my moms shopping over the past decade and my own over the last two months. The showroom is very clean and they take great care in following COVID-19 guidelines to make customers feel comfortable and safe. I came back multiple times, was always greeted with a smile, and ended up deciding on a used 2013 RX350 that was in great condition- never once was I pressured to drive something home that night. I have Mike Lagiglio and Bill Tacker to thank for that- I love my new car and am excited for the new memories.The battery, however, was on its last legs and fried itself within three weeks of ownership. It was a mild inconvenience, but I was referred to Justin in service and the problem was immediately rectified- I was able to drive home a clean (and running) car within a few hours at no cost to me. I highly recommend their team and will be returning for my future service!

The staff is very knowledgeable, however it shouldn’t take over 2 hours for an oil change. When you make a reservation online, they should give you an approximate time for the service you’re requesting.

My boyfriend asked me to do the dreaded task of getting an oil change. We are new to Chicago and I couldn’t get an appt at any of the local auto shops for weeks. I booked a same day service appt with McGrath Lexus (which is seriously unheard of) and I am blown away by the level of detail and service provided. From the moment I brought the car in until the moment I picked it up, I was treated like I was the only customer there (even though they were very busy). They were transparent about areas of the car that needed work but not pushy like some dealerships are. I felt very in control of what services were being done to my car and yet very thankful for the thorough inspection that caught some items we hadn’t initially accounted for. Justin gave constant updates, always checked in to make sure before asking the team to proceed with a task and even got me a ride to and from the dealership. Took my 2018 Lexus NX300h in for a service after the end of Covid-19. I asked for a 3 year service but was told my car was at too low of mileage to need that level of service. They recommended an oil service and inspection. Everything was fine so was done quickly.
Alexandra and her team are the absolute best! The customer service is always amazing.
I made my appointment online, got a text confirmation. Arrived for my appointment and was told it was covered and how long it would take. Once service was done I was explained which service they ended up doing, what they didn’t need to do and when I need to schedule my next service. They washed my car for me so it was a good visit!

I worked with Brent Matthews, and if this review was solely for him Id give 5-stars in a heartbeat. I came into the store in June searching for a luxury compact SUV and wanted to test drive the Lexus UX hybrid. Before going on a drive, Brent listened to the complaints I had about my current SUV (uncomfortable seats, loud engine, poor sound system, so-so gas mileage) and my reasons for looking at a more luxurious upgrade (new job with 3x travel time). After hearing what I would ideally like out of my next car purchase, he recommended I try a sedan hybrid instead and had me test the Lexus ES 300h. Up until this point I was dead set on buying an SUV (either UX or NX), but driving the ES up the 94 expressway completely changed my mind. After this interaction I used the next two months to drive SUVs of other luxury brands (BMW, Mercedez, Audi, Volvo) but could not get the feel of the 300h off my mind. I ultimately ended up calling Brent two months later to buy a CPO version of the 300h, and have been happily driving my 2hr roundtrip commute ever since. The negotiation process was quick and easy, and they bought my current car with almost no haggling required. Brent has a great sense of humor and was really enjoyable to talk to, definitely one of the best car buying experiences Ive had.While working with Brent was great, waiting for their finance department did take a lot longer than I was anticipating. We had a price agreed upon at 1:45PM, and I did not leave until 6:15PM. Everyone I interacted with along the way was super nice, but I feel things couldve ran a bit smoother once the negotiation process was finished. Aside from this hiccup, I highly recommend McGrath of Chicago for anyone looking to buy a used or new Lexus of any kind.

They not only performed my cars usual check-up services, but a few things I hadnt taken care of previously were also serviced that same day! My initial McGrath Lexus car service appointment was scheduled for July 29th. I completed an online appointment for 3:15pm for a regularly scheduled maintenance appointment. I arrived at McGrath Lexus at 3:10pm. At that time my cell phone rang and it was McGrath Lexus. After approximately 10 minutes of waiting, I was informed that I they did not have time to fulfill my car service appointment on July 29th.I thought this was extremely inconsiderate of McGrath Lexus to cancel my appt. without a phone call earlier in the day to let me know not to come to McGrath. McGrath had my online appt, the guesswork was removed. Was this an exercise in futility?I have written an email to McGrath Lexus and have not received a response.On August 2, I returned to McGrath Lexus for my scheduled maintenance appointment. All went well.
Worst service ever. David service guy lied to me for 48hours continued to string me along before my family went in vacation. We had to rent a car because they would not complete a 30min JOB AFTER HE TOLD 4 TIMES ON THE PHONE HE COULD. RUINED OUR WEEKEND AND COST ME MONEY. DO NOT SERVICE YOUR LEXAS AT THIS PLACE WORST SERVICE CENTER EVER.
We had a great experience! Drove over 200 miles for a vehicle and everyone was very helpful...... especially Bill our salesperson. The only reason I have the rating 4 stars was that I was pretty disappointed that I had to look at yogurt or something from the previous owner because it was not detailed prior to my arrival.
I left my 2013 Lexus ES350 for standard and scheduled maintenance. Although they replaced the AC filters and two other items, someone spilled a substance inside the car all over the passenger side of the front seat. It is a white powder substance which is also on the inside of the front door. Of course, no one is willing to take responsibility for the mess.I called and left a VM, but no one has responded. Horrific customer service.
