The price for my car is the best I was able to find in the city and its been working great for me.It would be 5 stars, but some of the processes with gathering interest rate data and the overall time it took to work with management was a little tiresome. My experience with Hertz was awesome. Gus the sales rep was very helpful and patient. I forgot my check when I was there and Gus was able to present me with other alternatives. He was able to guide me through the whole buying process even when it was near closing hours. At the time Gus was only able to locate one car key but he promised he will look to see if he can find a spare key and he delivered with his promise.

Heartbroken. I bought a used Ford Escape from this dealership 38 days ago and now its making a terrifying noise and my husband and I are afraid to drive it. Hertz told us to take it to Pep Boys (the companys mechanic) who said that they didnt know what was wrong and they wouldnt fix it. They called Hertz who also said that there was nothing that they could do. Maybe try taking it to Ford. Now Im $10,000 in debt for a car that I cant drive because they sold me a lemon. I dont know what to do. Im thinking about calling a lawyer. They never disclosed to us that the car was previously a rideshare rental (we found ALL of this womans personal information and rideshare contract with both Hertz and Lyft in the glovebox after we got it home). I was willing to overlook that. I was willing to overlook the hole that went through the mat AND the floor carpeting that was conveniently covered with a paper floor cleaning mat when we test drove it. However, I cant overlook the fact that after 38 days WE CANNOT DRIVE THE CAR. Its been such an awful year and now I dont know what were going to do. We really needed a car and now after 38 days I cant even drive it. Im truly heartbroken.

The staff here are very friendly! This was my first car ever, so I was a little scared at first, but Martin took care of me. I ended up financing on a 2019 LX Kia Civic Sedan. I took it for a test drive and it rides smoothly. I’m very satisfied! Martin is a great salesman! This is the perfect car for a first time buyer! Love it!

We went to Hertz after going to six dealerships. We were able to get our vehicle a good amount below the KBB price. The staff was very friendly and made the car buying process very easy. Our salesman, Martin, was patient and made sure all our questions were answered. He stayed late helping us pick out a car. There was no pressure. The pricing was broken down so that we knew exactly what we were paying for, very transparent. The “no haggle” pricing made the process easier. Cars were well maintained. All in all, we would recommend going here for a transparent car buying experience.

I found on the website a vehicle with the guaranteed No Haggle Price of $25,190. I completed the application to pick that up and completed financing for that online. I called this morning and was told after applying by Diego at the local store where this vehicle was being sold that they did indeed have the vehicle in stock but they did a bait and switch and changed the price to $58,000. Not only was the rep breaking company policy, the store rep was also extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.

Stood in the lot for 30 mins looking at cars and watching 3 guys sitting in their chairs laid back inside talking and looking out the window at us and none of them bothered to come out or offer to help. The only agent that addressed me was the one already helping another customer on the lot. I had a check in my purse, the car I wanted picked out and a driver for my own car. I pretty much just needed to sign the paperwork and pay. I know I got there 30 mins before they closed, but I was ready to buy. I left with my check a little dissappinted.

They made the finance part very easy and help me match my monthly budget I was looking for. Listing price online no where near the price, expect $200 + more then stated. And though everyone is polite and all that, customer service stuff, I have a good vehicle but at an expense may not eat couple times a month and no where do the state where or what ways able to make payment. I was originally interested in a Nissan rogue but upon arriving to this dealership I found a Ford edge that called my name. The service from Martin was excellent. He was friendly, spoke perfect Spanish with my father and mother (who helped me make this decision) & kept the details as clear as could be with me. I financed the vehicle with them since they were able to offer me a reasonable APR. The process and financial details were as transparent as can be in this market, which is exactly what I was looking for. Martins service is professional, and he is kind, down to earth, modest, and very easy to talk to. My family will definitely be going back to him for any future car shopping.

I worked with Gustavo and to say he knocked it out of the park would be an understatement. I was in a car accident that wasnt my fault and had to incur all of the negative repercussions that comes with that situation. This is the only dealer that doesnt make me nauseous. They are really great here - personable, transparent, and nice to hang around. I called in an hour before coming into the location and informed the staff (Derrick) that I was interested in the Volkswagen CC stock number 43733. After meeting briefly with Derrick I was quickly passed on th another agent. After driving from the far south suburbs, I was told after sitting in a cold office for 30 minutes that that I can’t see the vehicle because it’s buried in the snow. There where two other customers in the Facility at the time the at were able to test drive the vehicles they inquired about. Thank you Hertz for such great “customer service”!

Purchased a 2012 Prius. Buying a used car from Hertz with its limited 12 mo/12k mile warranty helps alleviate some concerns with buying used. The staff was professional and helpful. However, the buying/paperwork process took an hour or two longer than what I would have liked. Nonetheless, Vince and Carl were helpful. I had to come back a couple of weeks later to handle some post sale items (smoke detailing, key fob). They honored their post sale commitments with no issues.

Martin was very personable & made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend him to anyone in search of a vehicle!

I bought a car through Hertz Car Sales Chicago and Henry helped me through the whole process. Before even coming in he was returning calls and emails (I work the same hours they are in office and Im not allowed to take personal calls, so this is a hassle to anyone really) and they were very understanding on my situation. After a week of talking back and forth we found out I was approved for an auto loan! I wasnt expecting it with the terrible credit I have due to medical bills and such, but to get a chance on getting a car is amazing.Their cars are all in great condition and most are under 36k miles. All of this information you can get on the internet from their car listings and you know what youre getting when you decide on your car. Clean, minor scratches from use (insanely minor. Like when you miss your ignition with the key and scratch the dash just a hair. Thats pretty normal on any car.)It was great enough of an experience that even my sister came in 2 weeks later and got a car too. I will continue to recommend them to anyone due to the amazing care I received from Henry and the rest of the Hertz Chicago team.

Last week I bought a car at this Hertz location, the next day the check engine light turns on. They fixed it but 1 week later engine starts automatically without anyone in the car? Coming from a reputable company this car should have been checked before sold. It is very disappointing to have to get this car fixed again after 1 week of purchase. Please make sure that if you buy a car here ask to see if it has been checked before selling! 😡😡

What a relief! Ive had a lot of problems everywhere else trying to get a car due to ID theft 5 years ago, but they were able to get me approved and get me an even newer car with lower mileage than the one I saw on the website. I had rented a Nissan Sentra from Hertz about a month ago and absolutely fell in love with it so I knew that was the top choice of car for me. Thanks to Martin De La Torre for picking out a really nice 2017 with only 44k miles within the price range I was looking for and for working hard to get me approved. The car passed the Lyft inspection and Ill be picking up my 2nd job as a driver soon. This is a huge blessing in my life like Ive never had before. Ive been very low income my whole life and now it looks like I finally got the chance to do better for myself. If I ever need another car years in the future, Hertz will be the first place Ill look.
