Secured a 2015 Ford Taurus Police AWD V6 3.7L with the help of Ted and the whole crew at Chicago Motors Inc. This is my first personally-owned vehicle, and I bought it after work on a Monday evening. These guys really care that you get what you wish for here. Ted was even able to give me insight on the models which have performed better in Chicago’s snow, and I was able to confidently choose the All-Wheel Drive Ford Taurus.

We have been working with CMI since early 2019. I can say out of the 15+ vehicles (Taurus and Explorers) I can say 2 years later we still have them running solid. We have cars that we purchased locally in California and out of those 10 at least 4 have all been downed permanently. Those maybe lasted us 1-2 years so we only purchase our vehicles from CMI. Ted and his team are great and responsive. Ted check in on us time to time letting us know what his inventory is as he knows we purchase regularly. We had a vehicle (non CMI) blow it’s engine recently after dropping 2700 in engine work. I reached out to ted early morning east coast time it was midnight California time and he responded and had a vehicle shipped out with in the next day and we received our vehicle with in the week, engine down Saturday vehicle in Cali on Thursday! I purchased a Ford Crown Victoria based only off the photos and information provided on their website. I live in Georgia so I was hours and several states away. The staff helped me get all paperwork I needed days prior via email and I flew up to pick it up in person. The staff was super nice and helpful. Less than hour and I was on the road and headed back to Georgia with my new Crown Victoria. The car was in great condition and rode great. I drove 700+ miles back home with no issues! Long story short, I had a very positive experience purchasing car from this place. They sold what I wanted before I got there, which was my bad, should have put a hold on the car. But at the end, I bought what the shop owner was driving, which was a similar model. Price was still a bit high (in my opinion), but during COVID all used car prices are through the roof... so no complaints there.

I’ve searched high and low for a clean retired Ford Explorer. I got very discouraged until I discovered CMI Motors. Going through there inventory I could tell all of the cars were super clean, and decided to give them a call. The whole process was easy with open and honest employees. I had the confidence to buy sight unseen. Everything they have is hand selected, gone through, and ready for delivery. Once I received the car it was better than expected. On arrival I looked over everything along with an inspection at a Ford dealership. They were amazed with the great condition of the car. Great car buying experience. I flew in from Nashville Airport and was momentarily picked up at the Midway airport by Riaz. He then transported me to Chicago Motors where we got things started. Due to a misunderstanding on my part, I had a good bit of trouble with my bank but a resolution was met and I drove the car off the lot by the end of the day. I worked with Ted at the dealership who was more than accommodating for me. His brother drove me around to FedEx so I could overnight a power of attorney to my local bank. Ted was aware of what I should look out for to make sure there aren’t any catastrophic failures in the future, if proper maintenance steps are not taken. I asked for a number of cosmetic things to be swapped out or found and Ted was more than willing to oblige. Upon getting home (600 miles away), I realized that I was missing some seat belt buckles in the rear seat, which I really needed, as I have kids. I asked Ted if he could send me them and he promptly shipped some to me. If I get another ex-police car in the future, it will no doubt be from Chicago Motors. Awesome company to purchase from, I made my purchase with out seeing the vehicle in person because of distance, but since the price was great, recommend from other co workers that had purchased before and since the condition of vehicle looked great in pictures, I decided to make my purchase, I’ll admit I was alittle worried about the overall condition of the vehicle once it arrived, however once they delivered the vehicle to my front door in Texas!!
