The salesman Aidan was very helpful in showing us all the different mattresses and their construction with different materials. We were unsure with which to choose and he helped in further explaining what best suited our needs. I talked to a Michael who went above and beyond to help me with my request and we got my mother her new bed. Very happy with how things went and am now awaiting delivery of the bed. My trip to Mattress Firm was very well worth it! I’ve been in need of a new mattress for a while and oh was I so so glad I went to Mattress Firm! I was immediately greeted by Ace. He was super helpful, very polite and very attentive, answering all my questions with ease! I was looking for a Purple mattress and foundation. Ace showed me multiple mattresses from other brands just to see if those would suit me better. Once I laid down on the Purple Hybrid Premier 4” mattress I knew I found the perfect one plus my lower back pain faded away! The other purple mattress selections are very comfortable as well, but the Hybrid Premier is what caught my eye! Ace also showed me how the adjustable bases work and my god it does wonders for people who have back pain! I mentioned that the Purple mattress made my back pain go away, BUT the adjustable base just adds on to my back relief! When your legs are lifted by the bottom portion of the adjustable, it further relieves my back pain which is amazing. I was dead set on getting the non-adjustable foundation from purple, but after Ace demoed what the adjustable base is capable of, I knew I had to get that as well. So I went with the Mattress Firm 600 Adjustable Base. Ace’s coworker Phil was helping out as well and he was super nice also being very attentive! Ace and Phil taught me valuable sleep knowledge that I didn’t take too seriously until I stepped into that store! All in all, I definitely definitely recommend this Mattress Firm location in Roscoe Village!

I have been in desperate need of a mattress for years as my current $250 hand me down memory from mattress from Overstock just wasnt doing it anymore (and perhaps never was). We purchased a bed about 3 weeks ago and are so happy we decided to do so. We spent a good amount of time trying beds and were helped by Phil along the way. He listened to our issues with our current bed and gave us suggestions, while also giving us the space to comfortably try the beds and discuss on our own. We ended up purchasing pillows and sheets as well and its the best sleep I have gotten in years.

I had been trying to buy a bed for long time but was always unable to figure this out due to a time sucking job i had. Never enough time. One day I went in fed up w my old bed. Bought a great new bed that turned out to be just ok. But BOY was the PRICE tag out of this WORLD! I just am upset I was upsold on a more EXPENSIVE base that honestly was not a need. I paid through the NOSEEEE... Im NOT happy. THIS Happened at a closed branch not here. But yeah I will NEVER AGAIN do business with this company. At least not unless I do price shopping around even if it takes forever. Much rather get something reasonably priced from their competition. I had a very good experience at Mattress Firm. My salespersons name was Kyla a very nice and knowledgeable young lady, she answered all my question promptly and with confidence. I asked her if there is a discount for military veterans, and she said yes, it will appear when I start the invoice. She didnt have to check with my boss routine like one of her competitors did with me yesterday. I didnt like the game playing that her competitor used. I asked her competitor three simple questions, but she had to ask her boss every time for an answer. That didnt happen at Mattress Firm, I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. I would recommend Mattress Firm to my friends and family.My mattress was delivered as promised on the day and time I requested and was set up in a timely manner. They removed my old mattress, box spring and the metal frame. The delivery persons were friendly and helpful. I would recommend Mattress Firm to my friends and family.

I cannot recommend Phil from Mattress Firm enough. I tested my brand new purple mattress out for a few weeks only to realize I began to experience back pain and lack of sleep. I happened to receive a faulty Purple mattress. I even bought a new bed frame with wood slats to make sure I wasn’t imagining this. After a few weeks and confirmation from a friend that it was in fact not supportive at all on the one side I went back into Mattress Firm to ask for help. Phil listened to the whole scenario, how I tried different things to help make it better and he actually helped me process an exchange free of charge after all that I went though. He also made sure it was truly the right mattress for me, walked me through everything and explained the pros and cons of various options. He knows what he’s talking about and was super helpful with this process. Go to Phil if you need a new mattress.

She balanced her time between us and multiple other customers, but when it came down to the actual purchase she focused on us for a long time. She put in a call to get us better rates on the adjustable frame, and she really took care of us and all the options we wanted. Also, it was fun to chat with her about travel!I would have rated less than 5-stars if we didnt work with Karolyn:My only complaint was her manager/supervisor. He inserted himself more than once, and his feedback was NOT helpful at all. We walked in saying we wanted a hybrid bed with cooling. Karolyn was doing a great job showing us options. Her manager insisted on us trying a traditional innerspring mattress without the cooling top - exactly NOT what we wanted. When we said it was too warm, and the manager totally mansplained us - invalidating our feedback. Saying the mattress does the opposite. Look buddy, I laid down on the thing. I felt warmer on it than any other mattress in the joint.Funny enough, he left Karolyn to work alone. As soon as he did, multiple groups came in. He probably lost commission opportunities!

You can get pretty overwhelmed at a mattress store however if you find the right sales rep, they will narrow your search to the right product according to your needs and budget. My husband and I just purchased our fancy comfy king mattress with the adjustable. Their sales are legit. Make sure to get the mattress protection, its worth it. After listening to my 80 year old mother’s needs for a new bed, Erica showed her some options that met the requirements. She was very well-informed about the products and patient with us. We bought memory foam pillows too based on her recommendation to help alleviate aches and pains.

We never felt pressured to make a purchased and felt that he was more interested in figuring out what option would suit us best. And within our price range.
