First time at Lincoln Square Service and I will definitely be back. Carmelo was a pleasure to work with and very fair. I had an issue with my brakes squeaking and so I assumed they needed to be changed. Carmelo could have taken advantage of the situation and changed them out but instead explained they had plenty more miles left and saved me from spending a bunch of money I didnt need to spend. I will definitely be going back!

Amazing service. Hard to find a mechanic like this nowadays. Repaired our old Subaru quickly and for much cheaper than anyone else. This is the only place I will take my car. Very honest and fair.

I first tried this place years ago based on the shining reviews. It’s the only place I take my car even though it’s a 40-min drive up. Carmelo will let you know what needs to get done to your vehicle and what can wait until next service. He’s a man of integrity and honesty, and that’s rare to find.

Been here a few times. I think the service here is good and they are friendly enough. My one complaint is that I told them specifically not to do anything extra without checking with me first since I didn’t want to pay anything extra. I then get the bill with a small fee for windshield washer fluid. First of all I paid for the full service with oil change and tire rotation so why charge for this. Second I never got a call about anything that would cost an extra fee and I had washer fluid at home already. I had topped it off fairly recently so they couldn’t have added much. The cost wasn’t too much but it is the principle of the whole situation. Will probably try another local shop next time and see how things go...

We brought our car here for the first time to have the suspension checked on our 11 year old Buick, and I was very impressed with their service and honesty.A few months ago, I had taken the car to a national chain auto repair place for a brake job and oil change (C---X), and this other place told me it also needed all new front and rear shocks and struts, and estimated $1,900 parts and labor (???!!!)So glad we took it to Lincoln Square Service for another opinion! The car had been riding a little bouncy, and we heard some squeeking in the steering. LSA found nothing wrong with our shocks and struts, but kept it another day to check the rack and pinion steering too.They told us they couldnt find anything wrong, the car is perfectly safe to drive. And they didnt even charge us anything for their time! They even called us before closing on a Friday afternoon to pick it up, as they are closed weekends and didnt want us to be stranded without our wheels. Very considerate!* NOTE: their business hours listed on Google Maps are incorrect, they are actually open weekdays 8am-5pm, closed Saturday and Sunday. But they were nice enough to leave our car accessible in the lot to pick up after hours with our extra key.Overall, very impressed, and well be using them for all future repairs and maintenance.

I took my car in after battery kept slowly dying. After a day and some detective work, they discovered my trunk latch was loose, causing the light to stay on. He gave me a price to fix the latch or told me he could remove the bulb. I chose the bulb.I liked him so much I had him replace all four brake pads for much less than the dealer charges me. Everything went fast and smooth there. Hes now my mechanic of choice.
