Review is based on a take out order. Two omelets were going to take an hour which I understand since I ordered during a busy time. Once I arrived the staff handed me the to-go boxes vertically in a bag.This led to sauces coming out of the boxes, before I even received the bag. Both omelets came with two sides (at least that is what their menu states). we ordered a side hash browns and fruit dish for both omelets. We did not get fruit dishes. The taste was okay overall. Their advertised green chili was a red sauce which tasted okay. Pictures below of how food looked when first opened.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Our Server Travis knew his stuff! He was kind, fast and most of all a good server! Wonderful wonderful server. Its too bad we are just passing through or id come here all the time! Thank you Travis!

Hash browns were cooked in too much oil, omelet was small compared to price. Service was friendly but not attentive. No refills of drinks were offered as server never came to check on table for other needs. Taste of food was good. Would come back but need to adjust expectations for service and food quality.

Had a wonderful breakfast here. The staff was so pleasant and friendly! Would love to Be Their Guest and Stay Awhile another time in the future.

My family from Virginia, Mississippi and Chicago were visiting our sister from Cheyenne and she heard the Omelette House was a good brunch place. And, it was! The food was awesome, the restaurant was quaint and our server (Gabby) was fantastic! Very polite, quick service and went the extra mile to take a pic of our family! Keep up the great job with your restaurant!

Wonderful Breakfast. Yesterday we sat outside on their nice patio and enjoyed a great loaded omelette and warm cinnamon roll with honey butter (Very Yummy). The owner came out a talked with us and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. We returned this morning and enjoyed another cinnamon roll, sausage (Very Yummy too) and eggs. The food is great, prices are reasonable, and the employees and owner are very friendly. They open at 6.

If you want something different than the regular chain breakfast taste, then this is a good place to visit. The country fried steak, eggs, and hash browns were really good and you can tell it wasnt pre-made like most chains. Good service, decent prices. Just make sure you get there early, or youll be waiting!

This was the greatest breakfast restaurant Ive ever had. The staff was friendly, welcoming and over all made us feel like family. The food was delicious and not too pricey. 10/10 I would and will go again!

We were seated immediately upon arrival. The staff were pleasant and courteous. The food came quickly and my husband and I agree that it was delicious as well as having generous portions. I would highly recommend you stop by for a meal if you can.

It has had good food but bad service. We got seated at 10 outside. It took 20 min to get drink orders. And 20 min after that order food. I had to go in 2 times to check on out order. Since it took 50 min from the time we ordered. Our waiter did not come out to check on us for drinks during this time. Was walking in to cancel our order when the food came out. Had the 2 groups that were seated after us leave before we even got our food. We could see them through the window. Even a table of 6 that was seated right at the same time we were. Left before else got food. We have to scarf down our food since we had to leave and it was just disappointed.

Realistically this is more of a 3.5 star restaurant. The food is good, but not great. Portions are fairly large. However the staff could improve. Refills have yet to be offered in the handful of times my family and I have been here and it does take awhile for your food to come out, so don’t plan on going if you’re on a time crunch. The pricing is rather on the high side, I much prefer going to R&B where you can get twice as much food for around the same price.

Cool location inside and around an old house. The service was quick and the facility was clean. Impressive considering they were pretty understaffed. The food was good, not great. It was hot and prepared to order but it just didnt really make a lasting impression. No WIFI if that is a consideration.

We were excited to try this place since it had good reviews. We werent impressed with it at all. The potatoes were over done and flavorless. The Omelet I ordered said it was smothered in cheese yet I couldnt even tell it had any cheese on it at all. My husband had an Omelet with Feta and it had like 4 crumbles on it. The pancakes werent to bad. For a place that calls themselves a Omelet house there was very little to choose from on the menu. I understand they are short staffed but if you do go plan on it taking over an hour to eat. We will not be coming back anytime soon.

Good brunch place. Steak was juicy, tender but a small portion. Two eggs cooked exactly as I requested, over medium. Was able to substitute fruit for hash browns. Fryer not working that day so couldnt do country fried anything. The food seemed was fresh and tasty. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. Service was great.

My friend and I have tried every restaurant in Cheyenne looking for a place to have a good breakfast. Went to the Omelet House with no expectations. We were encouraged by the sign posted that they serve Daz Bog coffee. The inside is warm and comfortable and the staff was attentive. My friend and I both ordered omelets and the portions were very generous, we both took part of our breakfast home. Hash browns and home fried potatoes were fresh and the coffee delicious. And there were many tables occupied so I think the word is out, we finally have a breakfast place in Cheyenne.

If you don’t mind waiting 2 hours to get your food then this place is pretty good

The service was awful here. We waited about 30 mins to get our food. Not too bad but in the mean time we never received fill ups on our drinks or asked if we were still doing okay.The food was not very good. I got the burrito smothered in green chili, the hash browns inside tasted burnt and I ordered a side dish and never received it.The waitress came out with our food, slammed it on the table and walked away. Never said how does everything look, or need anything else.The people next to us said they were waiting over an hour before getting there food and it came after ours.I would not recommend this place. Go somewhere else!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first breakfast here! I had the quiche and bacon and hubby had the Daddy of them All omlet and we shared a cinnamon roll. All if it was fabulous! We will definitely be back!

A refreshing change to the breakfast food chains in town. Their short staffed & there may be a delay getting seated depending on the day of the week. My wife & I enjoyed the food & the wait staff are very courteous.

Well... we did get a cold cup of coffee. But that wasnt our servers fault. The hostess brought it to us. The omelet I got was AMAZING! so... worth it in the end.

Fan-tastic!!!! We ordered the Breakfast Platter for 4...there were 5 of us and we couldnt even finish it! (One was a toddler, but still) Huge portions, delicious food! We will be back.Not to mention the incredible service!!!! Seems everyone in town was short staffed this weekend, but they kept smiles on their faces, they were prompt and genuinely friendly!

I’m literally sitting at this restaurant right now. The service might be the worst in town. Our current waiter is very rude and my wife has had to go inside and retrieve some dishes for us to eat the sweet roll that actually tastes great. There are a plethora of other great breakfast places in town where you feel welcome at.

Had a wonderful experience! Had to wait a bit to seat our party of 13, and short staffing, but the service and food was amazing!

The food was exceptional. They were lacking on their ability to seat six or more people. They need to work on this. The wait was just over an hour . To their credit they were busy, it was fathers day.

The building is a nice and comfy place. The food was OKAY... once it arrived. Maybe 2.5. *Read on.I had slow seating, slow tableside service, only 1 refill check on bottomless coffee, and my food was slower than most tables. -My tableside service: First drink order took a while to place. Waitress was in the room 3 times after 1st coffee was delivered, then I had to ask her to take my order, as she was walking out of the room. Food was slow to deliver with 2/3rds of seats taken (there were no waiting like). Another couple came and were seated, they were able to order drinks immediately. The drinks were brought right back out and immediately able to order their food.There are other restaurants Ill go to.

Customer service is awesome. Food was great.

The restaurant it’s self is very nice. The waitress we had was slow and not very responsive to us. We aren’t really picky but she only visited the table 3 times and we had to wait for the check after finishing our food for 35-40 minutes. We were also all by ourselves in a secluded area. Multiple people came and looked at us and then just left without saying a word. The food was alright, not very flavorful and expensive for a burrito. I am sure today this staff member was having an off day but still. I do not think we will be back to eat here but it was good to try it.

Thank you The Omelet House for having us in yesterday. After the recent storm we wanted to show some appreciation for our members that worked in last weeks blizzard/snow event. We left with full bellies and couldn’t have been happier with the timing of our food and the room we got to use.

I read the reviews after we ate there and Im honestly surprised. Not sure if it was an off day for the cooks or what but this place barely deserves 3 stars imo. The staff was super friendly and I have no issue with them. The food however was no better if not worse than any big chain restaurant Ive ever eaten at. Started with a cinnamon roll which was super soggy and was covered in frosting which was broke and pretty gross appearing. By broke I mean the butter separated from the cream. Thats a pretty basic thing to make right. Flavor was ok if you could get past the soft soggy dough and separated frosting. Next was the food we ordered. I went for the daddy of em all omelet and overall I give it a 2 out of 5. Hardly any flavor at all and was basically a fritatta folded in half covered in what tasted like La Victoria salsa.. Not impressed. The country potatoes were super plain and soggy as well. No seasoning at all short of maybe a pinch of salt and pepper. I also had a side of sausage which they only have in patty form which is fine but it wasnt good. Jimmy Dean is better than what they are offering. All in all my meal was not great and barely good. My wifes order was French toast and 2 eggs fried over hard, she liked the toast but her eggs came out more raw than cooked, far from over hard. It was getting busy so she just didnt eat her eggs. My daughter got the same French toast and a cup of fruit. Fruit did look to be fresh so that was good, pretty hard to mess up fresh fruit. All in all, I was dissapointed. I dont like chain restaurants and as a small business owner I like to try to support other small businesses but this place has a long ways to go before I try it again. If I wanted something like Sharis, Culvers, IHOP, etc. I wouldve gone there. I was really hoping to have a regular decent bfast place in cheyenne, this will not be on our list.

Tried for the first time today thanks to Restaurant Week. WOW! We had the breakfast pizza, and it was stellar! We will definitely be back!

Pass on this place. Ordered a breakfast burrito to go and when I sit down to eat it I find that it is covered in gravy which has no business being on a burrito and some disgusting salsa concoction that tasted spoiled. The inside had no flavor to it which was surprising because it was bacon and I am not sure how you can make bacon flavorless but somehow they did it. To top that off the potatoes were partially raw. 5 stars for screwing up something as simple as a breakfast burrito. I will not eat here again and I suggest others seek out the better breakfast options in Cheyenne.

Was traveling from Chicago to salt Lake and Las Vegas and needed to do video conference as well as grab bite to eat food. The food is excellent hands-down and the service it was phenomenal very friendly staff and awesome food definitely recommend the Big daddy’s omelette and biscuits and gravy.

Enjoyed breakfast at 11:30. The service was perfect! I felt like I should try an omelet...after all, The Omelet House.😁 However, there were many other menu items that sounded good. My omelet was very good! I will definately be back to try other things...like the quiche.😋

Tasty and BIG lunch platters. I had the Alaskan Cod lunch which came with their house version of chips. I had FIVE battered filets. EXCELLENT fish for SURE. My friend had the chicken fried chicken sandwich with fries. It was a BIG sandwich on a roll with lettuce, tomatoes. She saved HALF for a late dinner on the swing shift. Good food at reasonable prices.

The food was amazing! Got the Silvas Smothered burrito and it was delicious! We got our order in About 5 minutes or less the fastest we’ve ever gotten our food. Plus the Server Matt was really friendly and helpful and quick so thank you! Had a great experience.

The food is absolutely good. The staff (I had that day) didnt seem to care to be there, though everyone is struggling to try and stay open. Id say a thank you, Id get nothing in response. My empty plate sat there for two more rounds that they came by (coffee refills, etc) before they decided to remove it. Lil things make a big difference.

Great staff, great service. Food was delicious, except for one thing. The waffles tasted like a cheap mix. But I will definitely go back to try the biscuits and gravy, it looked delicious. Bacon and eggs were perfect.

Came in and was told there was a 15 minute wait. We were sat after 20 min, and got up and left after another 10 min went by and we still hadn’t even received our water.

We were looking for a classic breakfast spot, and The Omlette House delivered! The waffles were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Pancakes and fruit cup were great. The hash browns were seasoned well. The coffee was quality and Matt kept the refills coming. Matt displayed excellent customer service, providing drink refills when they got low and offering the extras that everyone loves but forgets to ask for-salt, pepper, ketchup, etc. He also made sure to accommodate my partner who can’t eat pork. He offered to add extra eggs instead of bacon. Thank you so much for a wonderful breakfast. We appreciate you!P. S. AJ your pancakes tasted like crepes because you drenched them in syrup. What did you expect, LOL 😆

Friendly and fast. Good food. Been here on two different occasions both on a Saturday morning around 8:30. We went inside and were seated right away. Ordered our drinks and breakfasts and in no time they were out and to our liking.
