I’m posting strictly to give recognition to an awesome employee at this location.Ron Schmitts (spelling?) went above and beyond to give me tons of advice and tips on finding a Halloween product that he knew in the first 30 seconds of our conversation was not available at his store. His passion for helping me figure out how to locate what I was looking for was so friendly and such a breath of fresh air as most of the people I spoke to while calling around gave me a quick and hurried “no”. I know we all are busy and have bad days, but being treated kindly as Ron did really made my day better. Thanks Ron! You are a major asset to the company.

Clean, well stocked store, very helpful staff (much more than our regular location).Found some great plants for my indoor garden, so was thrilled about that.Weve been looking for floor lamps. One HD we checked didnt have much of a selection, but this location seemed to have more so I photographed to show my partner to get his opinion.

I had the worst experience of my life at the checkout. I met this bowling ball looking lady and she smelled liked fish named KC. She used very crude, foul language. As I was looking at the lawn mowers I saw her slap an associate. She defines authoritarian. Straight up looks like stormy cloud above her at all times. Please fire or control this bag of chips. Thank you.

Its a great place. Well organized, clean, stocked, the checkout staff are always helpful. I will say though, if I come by myself its difficult to find someone for assistance but if Im there with my dad its like the help finds us, even when most times we dont need it. I dunno the difference but thats my experience.

Lying and wasting time by HomedepotHey i was coerced into buying a new undermount kitchen sink by a sales representative on 10/7 at the Homedepot Chesterfield store who promised that Homedepot contractor can uninstall an existing undermount sink and mount the new one that i will buy from home depot. I had shown pictures of my current kitchen sink to the sales representative in the store. Now that the kitchen sink has arrived for pick-up in store i am being told that contractor does not do uninstallation and reinstallation . So the sales representative at home depot lied to me to sell the sink through homedepot. It shows bad reputation of homedepot that they have a bunch of liars and crooks as sales reps who try to sell you new product in the hope you will get it installed through their contractor program but then they do not have contractors to do the job. It is such a waste of time.I will file this with BBB as well.

Worst experience of my life! Ordered a washer and dryer- dryer comes damaged… ordered another dryer replacement and they bring ANOTHER washer instead of the dryer! Waited over a month for this and I still am waiting another two weeks!! Worst customer experience!

This is my favorite HD to go to. The people here are amazing, helpful and all around great. They know me by name here and thats nice. I will drive an extra 20 min just to go to this store.

Mike in the paint department was hands down the most knowledgeable worker. We had a paint issue and he resolved it immediately. He went over and above to make sure we were happy. Home Depot you need more employees like Mike!!!

I love the size of this Home Depot, it has many more choices simply because of its size than the ellisville location. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The only thing I dont like about home Depot lately is the sheer aggressiveness that they use to sell credit cards. Like I get it. You have a store card. But please dont chase me down across the store and force that poor 85 year old man at the register to sign up for one. I actually watched a cashier push a man into signing up for one when it was very clear he didnt understand what was happening. This is not okay HD.

I’m still baffled!!! I went to this Home Depot looking for two floor scrapers. I found one and went looking for a worker to help me find a second. After a few minutes I finally came a cross a woman carrying a small box. I asked her for assistance on where to find a second. She then told me she can’t help me because she is carrying this box and there should be someone else who can help. I assured her she was the only one I could find after my search. She told me again I’m sorry I can’t help you and went about her way. I then later found a man who was able to look it up on his handheld that there were four available in the flooring department. I explained that is where the one I had came from and there were none left could he help me find the other four. We went back and forth a few times and after he couldn’t understand the concept of coming to the department and helping me find the other four I went back myself, found the box on the shelf, used my pocket knife to open it and then finally purchased the two scrapers I had intended it also found the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.

Found the shower head we were looking for. We also needed help getting the right type of joint compound, and the gentleman at the Pro Desk (military veteran) took the time to explain the difference between the ones they had. Really nice guy.

Out of what I needed, luckily there are more home depots

Very good store, me and my boss went there for some electrical supplies and it was a smooth good experience.

Went to the flooring department to order additional trim from a previous order so that the job could be completed. The elderly lady back in flooring was on the phone.. I patiently waited.for her. Once off the phone she inquired what I needed. I told her I needed to order a strip of trim to match the flooring. She just pointed me to standard trim on the shelf. When I tried to explain it would be special order trim that I needed. She once again said she was busy on the phone.. She doesnt listen . I have additional rooms in my house to be updated. No more Home Depot!

Not usually our home store of choice, but I had a gift card and was able to quickly and easily find something to spend it on.

I like going here. Its a big box store so it is easy to socially distance. Masks required of course. Staff are very helpful. If you go mid day on a week day it is not busy at all. Great for quick trips without much hassle. Just wat out for all the old money driving around recklessly in the parking lot, plenty of that in Chesterfield 😉

I was able to purchase what I needed

After experiencing the poor customer service at this store, I would recommend either selecting another HD or choose the Lowe’s next door. After trying to get assistance from three separate employees and the lackadaisical attitude from the store manager, please avoid. Customer service and valuing those in your store is not a key priority here. Sad, just sad.

Employees were super helpful. Their house plants were alright, especially for a big box store.

Ordered a new front door for installation at my home. First, it took well over a month just to connect with someone in the doors department in order to schedule a consultation for door measurement. While it was annoying to have to repeatedly come back to the store amidst the pandemic I understood that several places were flexing their staff. However, it was frustrating to have to come back to make sure they processed my information in a timely manner which surprise surprise....it was just sitting there with no one taking any type of action. If I had not taken the initiative to follow-up myself who knows how long it would have sat in their system. On the paperwork, it indicated that trim would need to be replaced as part of the scope of the project. I tried to make the process run smooth by selecting the door and handles, etc. so it was ready for install. The install date was set for three weeks out. Now mind you they had 3-4 weeks to prepare for the installation. Please tell me why 10 minutes before they were to arrive for installation I get a call basically saying the door they went and picked up from another Home Depot store is damaged and they needed to see what supplies they needed for the trim work that would have to be done. WTH?! In all those weeks they didn’t check the door or even bother to look at the paperwork which clearly stated the trim work and included pictures. Then they had the audacity to be like it’s not happening today and then not have a new date for installation? Completely unacceptable! Oh, and this is not a fluke because my brother had to stalk them about his door installation as well. If you want it done right and efficiently I wouldn’t recommend Home Depot and especially not the one in the Chesterfield Valley.

They refused to honor the extended warranty on my washing machine. They claimed it expired in spite of the terms on this warranty attached to the purchase papers.

Michael was exemplary. He had a wonderful cheerful attitude and rectified a problem in regards to our order while juggling 4 other customers! Thank You Michael. It a delight to shop at your store!

Didnt find the products saw on line, and then remembered another item needed and asked for help in lawn and garden and guy said area was at but acted as if I was disturbing him. I had to find it and was more than I needed but then did find another smaller bag in different spot.

We rented a drum auger advertised with a 75 ft drain snake to unplug a house drain from this home depot. After driving it on site, carrying it downstairs, snaking the pipe we found out that unfortunately it was not a 75 ft but a 50 ft that was placed under the 75 ft sign because the actual 75 ft was out for repairs. Baffled to why would anyone would think that was acceptable? Needless to say we already knew 50 ft was not going to be enough. What a colossal waste of time. They refunded our money but wasting 5 labor hours (which cost a lot more than the tool rental) because of their incompetence is so sad and unacceptable from a massive corporate organization like Home Depot. Extremely disappointed

Usually like the garden center. This year, when I got there, it seemed picked over and less overall choices.

Guys were helpful as always however, I was very disappointed that only option was self check out. This will make me go to lowes if it keeps up. And I hate lowes lol

I needed an oddball part that I didnt think Home Depot or anyone else would have. Short of that, I needed some creativity to get what should have been a simple job done. I found that creativity and a lot more in Tom Noerper at the Chesterfield location. Great guy! He was friendly and helpful, understands customer service and is thorough. He came up with an idea that involved drilling through two bolts, cutting two pipes, drilling four holes, and proper measuring of things so these tasks were performed correctly. I needed to get two nuts and two bolts. I found a five pack. All the while, Tom was friendly and we shared a few stories. He put a half hour in and it was nearly closing time. He would not accept any gratuity and the total cost for all this (which was simply for a five pack of nuts and bolts) was $1.29 including tax. To find this level of customer service in terms of knowledge, friendliness, motivation, and overall pleasantness, not to mention creativity, is a rare thing these days. I take my hat off to Tom and offer my sincere thanks. I wont forget what he did for us this evening.

Had a wonderful experience today when getting two dozen 2x4x10s. It began a little rough as all the lumber we required was out of reach and tied up, but we had some wonderful workers off duty offer to assist us. Two cute younger gentlemen, one I believe named Keith and another with a backwards Chiefs baseball cap, and an older gentleman giving off cool dad vibes helped us pick out our lumber. They were even considerate of our specific requests and searched for the best selection. If the store could just lower the 2x4s, that would be lovely, but it was still a pleasant experience thanks to those gentlemen!

We went to the kids craft event today with our grandkids. We had a great time! The craft was well organized with good, clear instructions. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The work area was kept clean and safe. A good event for learning and practicing basic building skills.

Almost everything you need, csn be a bit difficult to find some items with there huge selection, ussually there is an employee nearby with at least a general idea of where to find it.

Always had great service at this location. Special shout out to Tom, he went way above and beyond to help me out with an obscure shower valve, as well as giving great advice about a water heater project. Kudos to these guys for a standard of customer service that is rarely found anywhere, especially at big box stores.

About 2 weeks ago I went to Home Depot in Chesterfield to purchase boards to make a very simple TV stand. Literally just a box. I had measurements with me and even had an idea of what kind of wood I wanted. As I walked in, someone asked me if I needed help, so I told him what I was doing and he said Let me get our specialist, Tyler, and hell help you out. So I go and wait for Tyler. Tyler shows up, I tell him what I want to make as he draws out a sketch. He asks me what kind of tools I have, and I tell him I have a drill. He asks if I have a saw, I said No, but dont you guys cut the boards here? He says yes. Then he goes on to tell me that this project is going to be a lot more complicated than I think, that its going to take about 32 pieces of wood along with brackets and some sort of edging stuff. Oh, and I should probably buy a saw, too. Also, they dont really carry any 2x4s that are stain grade. I tell him I dont want to use 2x4s, I want wider, thinner boards so I only need a couple pieces, not 32. He says Youd be a lot better off just buying something already put together. I disagreed with him, I said I was going to build what I wanted, and I left.Yesterday I went to Lowes. I picked up 5 boards, had them cut, grabbed glue, stain, and screws and had the whole thing put together and stained in less than 3 hours using just my drill and a screwdriver. In my living room. And it is beautiful. And cost me right around $35.So, thanks to Tyler, your specialist in your lumber department, I will no longer shop at Home Depot. I dont appreciate being treated like Im incapable or stupid just because Im female, or being told that the things I need dont exist and that I should just buy something already put together because CLEARLY I dont have the skills to use a screwdriver.

Despite help from service people the store was out of stock on two items when their inventory records showed they had some. They suggested we call stores before going there as we cannot trust the on-line inventory information.

Home Depot that has the parts I need.

Had the parts I needed. No one to ring up purchase. Had to use self check out. I want a 20 percent employee discount.

I just had six months of nightmares after ordering kitchen cabinets from Home Depot. It took 6 months to get the order correct and return all the damaged merchandise that kept coming in. I will never make a purchase there again or at least a large purchase. Dealing with Home Depot is terrible.

Your rental/repair are clueless.I bought a chainsaw in may and used it twice. I went to use it again in September and it would not start.I dropped off at the chesterfield homedepot after waiting almost half hour for someone on sept 6, and got a call to pick up on 20th. I showed up there and after waiting 20 minutes again, i was told its not fixed yet and they do not know who called me.Ive also had an incident previously where i was going to purchase close to $1000 worth of blinds for my house and waited half hour for someone just to be told shes going home in 30 min and i can come back tomorrow.For some odd reason Bridgeton is improving their service and chesterfield is just getting worse overtime.

Everytime I go to the HOME DEPOT in Chesterfield Valley I am greeted with smiling faces. The customer service is top notch(Trust me i go to many different ones and this one is the best.) There is alwYs someone there asking if they can help you. Oh yeah, this one has a fantastic foodcart there everything from hotdogs to Gyros. And the lady and young man that works there are so friendly and helpful.
