Went in twice to get help from Geek Squad and despite having an appointment to get a simple cracked screen repaired, they turned me away both times. I dont recommend them for cracked screens - try their competitor down the street. Their competitor is excellent as that is all they do and they do it well.
Geek squad customer service is the best that I have been to of any Best Buy stores
Never have I been mad enough to write a negative review. I had remote starter installed in my car. After they were done I was told the airbag light was triggered. The part they needed to fix it was not on the shop at the time. At the time I was told it was a computer error and that the car was still functioning properly and I could come back to have it fixed. I went back to the store and no one was at the counter to help me. I even called a couple more times after but could never get someone on the phone. I found out recently by another mechanic not affiliated with Best Buy that when they installed the remote starter a wire was cut and my air bag WOULD NOT work. He told me it would cost 5,000 to fix. so thanks to Best Buy I was driving around without airbags in my car. according to other mechanics are lucky I have no proof of this Negligence is I’m assuming they would have a pretty heavy lawsuit. Part of it is my fault for not getting the light fixed. But as stated above I was told the car airbags were fine.
Typical Best Buy location, basically a cell phone store that sells TVs 😆. (I couldnt resist saying that.) Everything here was fine on my visit.
The staff are well trained and very personable. They were very efficient with helping me with my pickup and answering my questions. Overall a great Best Buy!

My experience in the store was good. After the recommendation of the sales associate to get my new TV delivered is when the fun started. The TV arrived damaged and yes I can understand things happen. But the process to have the damaged one removed and a new one brought out, was a huge time waster. After being transferred to multiple different departments and to people that dont speak very good English, I was finally was told that I could get a refund and that they would pick it up. My recommendation is that if you decide to buy a large TV from Best buy, make sure you have the time to comment if you plan to take it back because the simple process of making a return takes a huge amount of effort and time.
Honestly, Best Buy is starting to remind me of Circuit City before I stopped going there too... Cant find simple cables or connectors. Looking for micro-usb (male) to usb-a (female) to connect mouse and keyboard to Raspberry pi.Heres to hoping MicroCenter expands to Chesterfield or St. Charles area.
Its Best Buy. Now after saying that, this isnt my normal BB. Much bigger and better laid out. The 2 staff member were quite helpful and got me what I needed AND only what I wanted. Maybe Ill consider driving out of my way to this one in the future
This store cant repair Samsung phones because we cant get parts so the manager decided to keep the dept closed. You will have to go to South County or Fairview Heights. Maybe they will have parts., I asked if he could call them since going there will cost me an hour in the car. He said, No. Best Buy doesnt allow any of the stores to be contacted and if you call you will get corporate who has no idea about parts or availability. Sorry you just have to go there. I can make an appointment for you.... Best Buy is broken. I have only bought my high end phones from them for 10+ years with full warranties. I wish they didnt self destruct so badly.

Had to beg to get assistance when 3 people saw me walk in. I came into get a phone case for my s21. He just pointed in the direction of phone cases. I couldnt find a single case for my phone. I asked for help again. He said since your phone is old, check the clearance. I just got this phone in Feb. Nothing for an s21 in clearance either.

This is one of the few non specialty stores that stills has a higher end home theater room including displays of audio products offered by Klipsch, Bower and Wilkins, KEF and many more. You can also view a large line of higher end TVs with better processors & faster refresh rates than entry level options.

The good:I wouldve put 5 star if the delivery were as smooth as the sales transaction. Lorenzo has helped us greatly in making decision of the top end washer and dryer. We came 25 minutes before the store closes but managed to finalized a transaction of a big purchase within 15 minutes.The absolute worst:The delivery was scheduled today, I received NO phone call, no heads up except the broad time of arrival from noon to 6 in the email. The other notification I got was an email 15 freakin minutes before the delivery, saying they will arrive in 15 minutes. By the time I got home, the delivery person has gone. I DID NOT receive any phone call or whatsoever, no voicemail, NOTHING. You dont just give a customer a broad time arrival from noon to 6 and then sent an EMAIL NOT a phone call for godsake, 15 minutes before the arrival?Are you guys expecting me to monitor my email inbox and mindlessly refresh every minutes from noon to 6pm? If yoi are coming in 15 minutes you better make a phone call. Its not that hard, its not a rocket science, just a freakin common sense.Bottomline, Thats not how you do business with someone who just splashed almost 5 grand of your merchandise and definitely not how you do business.Whoever attempt to deliver my merchandise definitely need to have another training.
This Best Buy has the best appliance team out of any Best Buy I have ever been to. I have several businesses out of state but always make my purchases at this Best Buy because this service team is the best!The team in home theater and also TV and sound are also good. If you are installing a big home theater dont hesitate to ask for an in home consultation in advance. They helped set me up with an amazing system.The Geek Squad team has also provided good service when I have had items have problems while still under warranty.

Today upgrade by car audio at Bestbuy in Chesterfield, MO. Brogan Sherman who did my install was friendly, very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job in installing the car amplifier . Total Tech Support membership is best value for money when you are upgrading Car Audio.
My husband and I are unable to wear masks due to health reasons and we read the sign before we went into Best Buy, and it stated that young children and those unable to wear one due to health reasons can enter without wearing a mask. We went into the store and 3 separate people approached us requesting that we wear masks after hearing us tell the other associates that we are unable to wear them, and that the sign on the front of the building states we are allowed to enter without masks. We decided not to give our money to a company that doesnt want to enforce their employees to follow their own guidelines, and allows harassment of their customers.

I placed an online order for curb side pick up. The order was ready the very next day and the pick up process was very quick and easy! The store assistant who brought the item out was also extremely friendly. We will be back especially with how quick and easy the pick up process is. This is a helps with the number of people in the store plus it is a HUGE time saver for busy moms!!!

My wife and I stopped in to look at car audio stuff for her 2007 expedition. We were in the store for approximately an hour. Only interaction with a employee was him telling us we needed to have our masks on. We admittedly forgot to put them on. We then asked him to get us some help for the car audio section. He did not and he had an additude. We went back to the car audio section and found another employee and ask for help and again nothing. No one paged for our assistance. We will never shop at this location again. The employees are rude and lazy. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Trying not to leave very hateful reviews when Im aggravated by a situation. I pre-purchased a viper door unlocking system for my vehicle a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the closest place that could even do it was 40 miles away and I had to take a day off of work to make it happen. When I get there the guy tells me that he is not trained on this specific install. He says hes trained on another unit thats more expensive and has no real advantage to upgrade to, unless you want to have the ability to unlock on your vehicle from your phone. So Im not mad at the tech because at least he was honest and told me where I really need to go to get this done properly. But now I have a new appointment at a different location, but its another month away and Ill probably have to take a day off of work for that too.If I buy something from your store and you have the ability to install it for me, you should at least know that when I get there, the people you have working for you can do the work.
I am not sure when this store stopped offering customer support, but the last three times Ive been in the store has been a complete disgrace. In the last 6 months I have bought a laptop, tablets, Video Games Etc for office and kids. But three times Ive been to the store now to correct a simple return on a pre-order, have spent over three hours of my life, for a $45 credit LOL. Seriously, get with it.

This is my new favorite best buy in st.louis, its the only location with a selection of Blu-rays and UHDS, all the other locations have a small shelf that is usually sporadic peppered with a hand full of titles.
Waited almost an hour in car audio. Even asked customer service for help and no one came. Also noticed the ceiling is leaking in more than ten different places. Will definitely not be coming back.

They had all 3 games I was looking for for the Nintendo Switch. Game Stop on Manchester by Vetta Sports had cheaper prices but games werent in stock. Staff didnt have much knowledge on how to play multiple people in Minecraft.
My husband and I went in to look at car audio products with the intent to buy. I went up front to ask for help. No one came. I asked the guy in the TV department to call for help. No one came. All in all we stood there for an hour and no one bothered to talk to us. That is ridiculous considering I asked for help twice 🙄

They called me saying that my installation appointment that was booked well over a month ago cancelled, and that they could reschedule at a different store in 3 months. Is this a joke? I told them to cancel my order and they won’t. After spending thousands of dollars at this store I will take my business elsewhere. No one seems to care. Best Buy I hope you go out of business soon.
My dryer went out on the Sunday before Thanksgiving at 6:30 pm so we went to this store to purchase a washer and dryer. We had to ask 3 people to get someone to help us finely when someone did show up he was rude and sarcastic and handed us off to another person she was better but after looking for 30 minutes we found out they dont keep any stock in the store. We were clear with the first person we needed it that night. We left and went to Lowes, they were great they price matched we got a great deal and left with a new washer and dryer that night.
This location has demos available except major price tag demos. Supposably have those restricted supposably due to covid and yet they will let you put on as many headsets that are demos as you want. No associate greeted me or ask me if theres anything they can help me with. Im aware of stores up in Chicago having demos of everything available you would think by now St Louis would have caught up

Went to this Best buy for an oculus link cable, we walked in and found it, I realized I did not have a Usb type 3 port so I went looking for an adapter, couldnt find one and asked a guy to help us out, he called the manager. He then went on to LIE and potentially get me to buy a new PC motherboard and tell me that The cable will not transfer enough power and lag my oculuss preformance, then ANOTHER employee jumped in and tried to persuade me into buying a 50$ head piece, like who does that? We got the cable anyway, cause I felt bad. I ordered another cable being USB type C to USB type A, and guess what, it works!To sum it all up, do not trust any employees here. They are money hungry, and will manipulate you into buying stuff you dont need.To add a little more on, we were at the fridge area, employees kept coming up to us trying to chat which was very annoying .

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE curbside experience. Ordered at 9:50 AM before they opened. Email status never changed. Over two and a half hours on the phone over the course of the day and they suddenly tell us the order is ready at 8:30 PM. We get the email after store hours and within the curbside hours. However we show up to pick it up and they dont even have our items?!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS at 9:15 on a Sunday night?!?Ill take my business elsewhere in the future with these kind of headaches. Very frustrating to say the least.

I ordered a Nintendo Switch for a Christmas present. I logged into my order and added my wife to the pickup list. I got an email shortly after saying their was an issue with the order and it had to be canceled. This was after I got a confirmation email that it was ready to be picked up and it was a black friday online order. I will never rely on Best Buy again. Now we are stuck 2 weeks before Christmas scrambling to try and find one when we ordered it a month in advance.

Had an appointment with the Geek Squad in Chesterfield, for the phone I purchased in Brentwood 5 days earlier. It was arranged through Apple support, Chesterfield was unable to fix the phone or order the parts, so they set up an appointment for me at the South County Best Buy in another 4 days. They said that store might be able to replace my screen, but South County might also have the same problems trying to order the parts.

I had a store pick-up today, Christmas Eve 2016. The line for pick up was short. Computer problems delayed the transaction. He started on one terminal, computer was running slow, and then realized store pick-ups couldnt be completed on that computer and we had to wait for the guy to finish. We had to start all over on the next terminal. He was helpful with carrying tvs out & laoding car. 3 out of 5 Register at Store Pick Up should work for pick up.
Shady return policy and would NOT exchange the orange Bose earbuds that I received for Christmas for the blue color. At the time my husband purchased them on 12/20, a store employee assured him there is an extended holiday exchange policy and said why dont you go ahead and buy the orange ones so she has a gift to open, then exchange them for blue when we are restocked.However, attempting to do so has made my opinion of Best Buy drop to the point that I will not shop there again. They insisted we owed them an additional $30+ to exchange colors. The price has increased since Christmas, but we had the receipt with us. They insisted that the policy only allows for exchange of the SAME product and these are not the same product. They have different SKU numbers. Completely absurd! They ARE THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT with the ONLY difference being the color.I truly wish I could have rated this ZERO stars. We have purchased a GREAT number of products from Best Buy previously, including multiple laptops for ourselves and 3 kids, refrigerators, washers, dryers, home network supplies, random household appliances, phones, sound equipment and so on and on.... literally thousands upon thousands of $$$, but they simply do NOT care about customer service, at least at this location (Chesterfield, MO) HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING!Attached are the different products, per Best Buy. You would think that Best Buy would ensure their customers are satisfied with their products, especially considering these are nearly $200 earbuds.
The staff here were completely inattentive and made no effort to assist us in making a purchase. We were looking at home theater options for a new home, but no one appeared to be working in the Magnolia area. One person did eventually walk back there, but proceeded to ignore us and decided their phone had more important matters to attend to. Several of their home theater displays were not working, including their Bose setups. (I came here looking for the Bose Lifestyle and sound bar systems) When we reached home appliances, we were greeted by an associate, but unfortunately she seemed rather disinterested and had very little product knowledge. I am going to try to find a different home theater store to buy my set-up at, although it doesnt appear there are many options in the area.
Shopped here to get a new cell phone case and screen protector for replacement phone. Drove quite a distance and was pleased to find they carried the products that I was really looking for. We had checked online for in store productsbut also found other cases to fit my phone in store. After selection we took my phone to the Geek Squad to have the screen protector and case put on and were rudely told we dont do that go over to cell service even though the sign right there stated it was a service. Finally got to the phone section and the wonderful young woman who helped me is the only reason I am giving three stars. She was an angel! She was very apologetic for the Geek Squad and took very good care of me. She set my phone up and I walked out of there exactly how I expected to. I even bought an extra case. She really did save the day. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she really was at helping. Very friendly and kind. You need more people like her working for you and not people who blow you off like the Geek Squad did. Especially when they charge you for setting up a phone. Dude...Im going to pay you for a service and your rude to me and tell me to go somewhere else? Really? No problem! We almost left the store had it not been for the young woman in the cell phone area. She deserves major props!

Looking to be abused by a car audio guy? Then shop here. Until this experience, I spent many thousands of dollars at this store each year. No more. I bought a car stereo on 12/24/19 from this store and had to wait until 2/12/20 for an installation appointment. I showed up for my appointment 10 minutes early and the installer refused to let me inside -- left me OUTSIDE in the rain and sleet. When he came to the door, his attitude was absolutely abusive. He refused to answer simple questions about the installation. He was argumentative and negative in our entire conversation. The experience was so bad that even after waiting two months for installation, I returned the merchandise for a refund. I dont want someone with that attitude working on my vehicle.
Best Buy has made some improvements recently, such as replacing paper price tags with cool e-ink displays. However, they need to adapt much more than that in order to survive. Take Mico Center for example... they have lines out the door while Best Buy is empty. Micro Center is a true electronics store that sells components you cant find at Target and Walmart. A huge chunk of Best Buys floor plan is optical media that no one buys anymore. I never see anyone in the appliances section either. If they want to survive in the digital age, they need to adapt.
