The experience I received today at the Chesapeake Smart Start, from MARK, was beyond refreshing. The energy is upbeat, positive, encouraging, professional, and he is fast. With over 28 years of education in the “ Car World “ he was able to share his knowledge with me and made sure I understood everything. It’s really a shame that I didn’t start out here from the beginning. Thank you very much for all of your help, patience, and your peppy personality. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Had a choose a new interlock company since Alcolock is no longer servicing VA Beach. Very happy I chose Smart Start, Mark is awesome. He made the transition very easy for me. My only issue is that this wasnt where I started.

The technician, Mark, who works here was the best part of my experience. He is easy to work with, very polite, and has your best interests at heart. I never felt, as a customer, that my concerns were ignored. My last download took less time than I expected, and the entire process even during set up was amazing. He worked with my ridiculous retail schedule, and I couldnt have asked for a better tech.I definitely reccomend this location, and company, above any others you might be considering when you have the misfortune of getting an interlock. This place makes your interlock basically worry free while youre stressing about all the other stuff that comes with having to get one. 10/10

Got my interlock removed today! Mark got the job done in less than 20 minutes. I moved states with my interlock before I could have it removed. From the little time I spent with Mark he seemed very calm and reassuring. My last interlock tech was a NIGHTMARE.Thanks again Mark, keep up the solid work.

I had an appointment today that I had totally forgot about. Didnt realize it till about 4:30, I called the service technician Mark and asked would he still be able to do my calibration. I knew I was pushing it but lucky he told me to come on. He stayed after hours to make sure everything was taken cared of and I really appreciate it. We need more people like that in the world. As bad as it is having to become a customer of a business like this, the Smart Start procedures and Mark made this experience, although one I never want to go through again, as pleasurable as possible. Mark made scheduling a dream. Id highly recommend this company to anyone trying to make the decision as to who to work with.

Mark was very knowledgeable about the machine and how the overall system works! He made sure to explain in Greta detail things I would need to do to avoid getting a lockout and when I had issues jumped straight on my car to work out the kinks!

Mark is the guy to go see if youre a Smart Start customer. Im 1,200 miles from home and had a major issue. Mark didnt tell me no or give me an excuse. He explained things that my home location didnt explain and he spent more time on the phone with customer service than he probably shouldve. The issue was resolved in the most ideal manner possible. I typically wait over an hour and a half when I come here. Whats the point of making an appointment (which you have to) if you have to wait so long? Ive also shown up at the appointment time listed on my receipt TWICE just to be told I dont make appointments at this time slot for this type of service and was told to come back at a different time. This was after I had taken off work, driven there, and waited over 20 minutes. Take responsibility for your mistakes, and I dont know, maybe apologize for wasting someones time? Go to the Virginia Beach location - you dont need an appointment and the staff is really friendly.
