I must have spent about 20 minutes in the cleaner isle googling the differences between different detailing products. Big shoutout to Rico who took the time to help and in 5 minutes not only explained which products were the best for my specific application but how to best apply them. Went into this autozone today to get a new headlight, Rico helped me quickly find the right part and products to clean my 2012 sienna headlights that had never been cleaned since I owned the vehicle. Rico came out and not only changed the bulb for me, but guided me through the process because I wanted to learn so I could do it myself if it ever came up again. Then he grabbed the cleaning products and took the time himself to clean the headlights! The other employees were friendly and the store was clean and organized.

The store manager, Rico, was very helpful. He went way above and beyond our expectations. We stopped in to get a windshield wiper blade replacement and a brake light bulb. He was nice enough to come outside and replace our brake light and wiper blade. I will be coming to Auto Zone on South Battlefield for now on for all of my auto part needs.

I have had really good experiences at this location for many years. Even returns werent a hassle and straight forward (I rarely return things in general and find it to be annoying). Employees are competent and friendly for the most part. They acknowledge me when I walk into the store unlike some other places. Ive been in the area for over 20yrs and even with the change of staff, the level of service has been consistent!

So..while Ive never been to this location I am definitely going to start coming here.Yesterday I was at Wawa filling up my tires because the tire light came on. While filling my tires a gentleman in a truck pulled up to the pump. He got out and patiently waited for me to be done(usually my husband does this but it was early in the morning and I was late for work so tried it by myself for once)I thought I was done so i hung up the nozzle and he grabbed it to use it for his own tires, and thats when I saw he had an autozone shirt on, his name was Rico.Well I got back into my car and turned it on, and of course the light was still on. So I got back out and waited my turn for the nozzle. He saw me get back out and said im sorry, were you not done? Didnt mean to cut you offI said well I thought I was but the tire light is still on now. He could have just chuckled or gone about his day but no. He didnt. He started asking me what psi I needed, how much I filled them up. Me of course not knowing explained how my husband usually does this and im not car savvy so I had no clueHe asked if he could lend a hand. Who am I to say no to help? So I said yes. He came over, looked on the door panel for the psis. Got the numbers, checked all my tires and even put air in the one that needed more.Then he explained it may take a few minutes for the light to go out since the tire has to re read or something.I seriously couldnt thank him enough, even offered to buy him coffee since it was 630 am. He declined and simply asked to just come see him at this AutoZone if I needed anything.Never once have I been so impressed with someones customer service and just overall friendly attitude(im usually a grouch before my morning coffee).This right here is why Im willing to now drive 20 mins to this autozone from now on.Not sure if hes just a naturally helpful person or if hes that dedicated to customer service. Either way. This is my go to place now. Thank you autozone for having him here.

Thank you for the fantastic customer service. The sales manager Rico was a true Class act. It is rare these days to be treated like a human with kindness and not an inanimate dollar sign. We deal with a lifeless society that is based on numbers and many times is lacking that human experience.Please express my gratitude to Mr. Rico. Every business I go into I have my guard up expecting to be taken advantage of or cheated. Its rare to spend 5 minutes with someone and feel comfortable. He asked me simple questions, at no time did he lead me to an up sale. Many sales pitches are very awkward and leave you with a guilt laden choice to make and you feel shame if you dont go with their choice.As I walked out of this business I had a rare feeling of security. I left with confidence that the people behind the counter conducted business with integrity.When I returned back to my house and fixed my car. It was at this point I realized every personal guarantee he made toward the automotive assistance he gave me was a spot on bullseye. The night before I left for college of course my battery died. I was able to get a jump to get me to auto zone. Once I arrived there I asked if I could get my battery tested. It was 10 minutes before they closed. I explained that I was leaving tomorrow for college and within no time the man ran out the door and tested it. I needed a new battery which they were able to hook me up with. They even replaced the battery for me! I definitely recommend this auto zone!

I ordered a jack and jack stands online on August 19th, 2020. I was given a delivery date of August 25th-26th. On August 29th, I received the jack, but no jack stands. I opened two online inquiries about the missing jack stands, only to be told that they were being processed and I would receive them soon. On September 3rd, I contacted them via phone about the still missing jack stands. They told me that there had been an error with processing them, and that the jack stands would be sent out right away. Then, on September 8th, I received an email from them informing me that the order had been refunded and that I would not be receiving the jack stands at all. This is beyond ridiculous and completely unprofessional. I contacted them once again to give them the opportunity to make this right, and instead, they offered me a $3 discount on the product that I had ordered 3 weeks before and never received. Mind you, that was a $3 discount for me to go and pick them up in store. I will never do business with this company again. This is so far beyond upsetting, I cannot even express how I feel right now. This was supposed to be a birthday present for my nephew, which is now late as can be, and I am still short two jack stands. Thanks for nothing, Autozone.

On Feb. 12,2020 I after being told my battery was damage so badly it could not be charged by a car repair close by. I requested as I had had battery tested a short time previous to this day. I had battery removed and place in trunk of my other car. I brought it to Auto Zone where purchased and had it checked. Samuel and Ryan assisted in finding battery not damaged or unusable showed me findings of testing. I was very frustrated as this is second time car would not start and was brought to this shop as I had a warranty with their alternator which was found faulty by another mechanic 15 days prior. The gentleman fore mentioned Ryan seeing the problem gave me a new battery as I still had short Time on the battery warranty. I was so grateful for these gentleman at Auto Zone this Is what I a widowed senior in need of good transportation needed. I highly recommendAuto Zone for car needs. I am still in debate with car shop but I have faith that Auto Zone is the fair auto parts store .Thanks again to Samuel and Ryan.

Hello, I have been dealing with auto zone for a very long time because of the friendly staff and willingness to help someone out when you walk in and ask for help .The store in greatbridge is my favorite because they are people we know and have always helped check out batteries and alternators and so forth .Last night I seen “ Monigue “ I hope I spelled her name right lol. Maury (Sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) Has been a godsend for us. Weve got older cars (an 02 and an 05), and hes been nothing but helpful since weve moved back to the area. Hes a well of knowledge and really knows how to talk to you like a person. If youve got a car issue, hes your guy for troubleshooting. As long as Im in Hampton Roads, Ill happily go out of my way just to work with the folks at this store.

However, with the typical auto parts store setup and customer service format, there is a good chance that you will be waiting for a little bit to get to someone that can help you... I walked in and was greeted with a heart warming Good afternoon. I was then asked what I was looking for and I told the guy helping me out that I was looking for car wash supplies. He proceeded to walk me to the correct aisle and even went so far as pointing out their current store discount. I got a full car wash supply (AutoZone wash bucket, (Meguiars) car wash soap, sponge, tire foam cleaner, Interior Wipes, and a pack of micro fiber cloth all for $20. Talk about great customer service!!

Im by no means a car gu . I can change my oil and air filter but other than that im los . This store has always saved my rear end when it comes to car questions. They recently did a diagnosis for my check engine light and told me the recommended part. Ryan read my code and then he asked rico/monique for advice. Rico recommended the part, and even showed me it where it was on the car! Monique got me the part and was so kind with the checkout process. Made spending money(which is never fun) actually fun! Advanced can kiss my business goodbye. This is the place to go

I can not deal with the low quality of Cistomer service here. Every time I looked for a part there or ask them for advice, they could rarely help me. They also have parts on the shelf that did not work once installed. The only knowledgeable person there was a female that no longer works there. I was also with a friend that went to get a battery replacement for her key fob. The worker offered assistance and then cut himself. He then used a various number of explitives and bled over the counter. I do not recommend this store to anyone. The district manager was also very rude to the workers and a few of the customers there. Save your time and go to the nearest Advanced Auto where they can actually help you.

Do not let them use any type of diagnostic tool or device. Had them test alternator with diagnostic tool, read alternator pass but the diode failed. Not the case, after we took it to the dealership they said it was fine just needed a new battery. So I tested the alternator myself with a multimeter and the diode checked out. If I could rate them a zero I would.

Steve, one of AutoZones premier cashiers, in an attempt to be nice added 2 quarts of oil to our daughters car. She thanked Steve for his help then proceeded home (about 1 mile away). The next evening, our daughter was driving down Johnstown Rd when her hood flew open and smashed her windshield in. Somehow, she was able to stop the vehicle without causing an accident or hurting herself or any body around her. When I approached Steve about this the following day, he said he remembered adding the oil to the car and said our daughter told him to not worry about shutting the hood, that it never shuts When I told Steve that our daughter said Steve never mentioned anything about the hood not closing, Steve became very standoffish. I told Steve that she remembered nothing about him ever stating anything about an issue with the hood, Steve said well, I thought thats what she said then he proceeded to say I think she said something like that Obviously, Steve doesnt know what the truth is and plain forgot to latch the hood when he finished adding oil. The car now has a smashed hood, smashed windshield, and various other issues due to the lack of knowledge, lack of professionalism, and carelessness of Steve. Steve becaome very agitated towards the end of our brief conversation, then he walked off into the back of the store leaving our family at the register. Please be exercise great caution when having any of AutoZones cashiers even touch your personal vehicle. Do NOT let Steve leave behind the counter to assist. He is best suited for exchanging money and using the computer to look up parts. Absolutely ZERO regret shown. No forgiveness. Overall very irrational, under educated, and just plain disgusting customer service provided by Steve.
