Fairly well-stocked and our visit was to get some landscaping items. Lots of product and ideas to make your yard beautiful. The staff was helpful. One of our purchases was over-priced in the computer compared to an advertised sign on the product and customer service corrected the issue and refunded the difference without any hassle. Good customer service.
Great selection of home improvement tools and materials. Their staff is very helpful. Unfortunately, home depot is also out of freezers like other similar stores due to covid19. Their store electrical saw was out of order so I could not get some wooden planks cut like I wanted but the helpful staff said that it would be fixed in 2 days so I will return for that. I was able to find the garden tools and organic pesticide in store with guidance from their helpful staff.
Came to the University’ Home Depot after leaving the competitors store very dissatisfied. As I entered the garden department Tayler greeted me with a smile. Unfamiliar with this store I asked where 4 things were. She pointed all four out w/o hesitation. When I checked out she was very kind and quick. I purchased 11 bales of wheat straw she said she would have someone over there as quickly as she could. Before I got my truck in park there was an associate there to load me. (I did not get her name) we chatted as she slid the bales down the chute. She too was extremely friendly and a hard worker. As we finished she thanked me for shopping at Home Depot. This is EXACTLY what will make me drive past your competitor!! HD will now be my go to home improvement store. Thanks ladies !
Really great store to shop.I always be 100 percent happy after shopping at Home Depot. The prices are great and staffing is always on point are helping the customers.
Decent shopping experience at this home Depot. Friendly staffed but definitely under staff as well as all other home depots. Wide selection of products but I do feel that thanks are very much so getting overpriced. Ive always liked home Depot but I wish they could work on a few issues. I do hope they are surely aware that they are understaffed for the most part

My husband and I have been busy remodeling the last few months. And Ive order some items online for pick-up and ship to store pick-up. In store items where ready to pick-up in a reasonable time. The other orders didnt take an extended amount of time to arrive at the store. The inside shopping items that where needed we found readily available and far priced. Overall Id say this is my store compared to the other home improvement stores in the area..
Home Depot is special to me simply because they have experienced sales persons that know the items you need. The checkout person is absolutely wonderfulness and amazing. You just want to checkout with him. Makes you feel like a special human being.
Can hardly find someone to assist you if you need one.They keep this location stocked. I go here regularly. Ill go to Home Depot™ before I go to Lowes™.This location is always clean. And organized. Checkout is fast and self checkout is almost always open, except for some Saturdays and Sundays due to too many customers??? Im guessing.
I don’t appreciate being followed around the store for a $180 chainsaw. I am a business owner who spends a lot of money each month in the store. Pretty sure the cops were waiting outside as well lol.
There is always helpful staff when we visit and we caught some awesome deals today. Were loving all the perks of the business credit card, as well.
I just love the Gardening Department!My mother was taken care by Dakarai, a Friendly Garden Associate at University Home Depot. He answered our many questions and even helped us with finding a doorstop for her front door. We appreciate him going above and beyond to assist us. I also learned that I can buy household cleaner in bulk sizes! Thanks for making our shopping experience easier Dakarai, way to go!
Great as always they had everything, except the carb rebuild kit I needed for my riding mower. Thats ok it will have to be ordered (old mower). THD is still my spot.
I was happy to realize that the home Depot near my work opened early enough in the morning for me to go before work and buy the stuff I need for the lawn project I have going on. So I set my alarm clock 2 hours early got up at the crack of dawn and stop by the home Depot before going to the office. Unfortunately open at this home Depot doesnt actually mean open. The garden center gate was stilllocked, so I went inside and walked through to the garden center only to find that no one was working out there, and all the large carts you need to get garden Center sized items were nowhere to be found. There was one other person with a vest on and when I asked them where I could get a cart they said they didnt work there. Then I noticed all of the large carts were still locked up outside of the closed and locked Gates. 2 weeks ago I stopped by to order a door, and even though they continually paged someone to millwork as I stood there for 45 minutes, when I walked and asked someone they told me that no one would be in that department until 8:00 a.m.. couldnt someone have walked by and told me that before I waited for forever and wasted my early morning? I ended up having to go to the customer service desk to make my purchase which I had to figure out on my own since no one bothered to stop and tell me that no one was showing up for that department for another hour and a half. My recommendation home Depot.. if youre going to open go ahead and freaking open and have someone in every department for those of us who want to get something done early in the morning. Because wasting your time going there when no service is available because basically no one is at work yet is incredibly infuriating especially when you set your alarm clock and got up early specifically to accomplish one of your daily tasks and then you realize that time was entirely wasted. But worse, not only was your time wasted you had to figure it out on your own because no one in the store bothered to even freaking talk to you and let you know.
Home.. Depos.. What more can you ask. I needed some lumber.. They had lumber.. I bought.. They sold.. At least their lumber is somewhat strait. The lowes home improvement store does not have Strait lumber.. Unless youre building a circular room or house. If so then the blue store is your place. Now dont get me wrong.. Nether is great. Depo is just better..
Leaving HD alone always find better prices at LOWES.

I went to this Home Depot to exchange some Klein Tools since they have lifetime warranty, I have done this before at other locations. The people in customer service said they were no longer doing it because they had a “new policy” which sounded like a complete lie since they brought it up after I said I had done it before. Anyway, I went to another location the SAME day and they kindly exchanged my tools. I don’t understand why they refused to exchange my tools, I don’t know their names but I hope that with this comment they will look further into it.

More complete than Lowes, and the price is more competitive. This is a very important thing.The store itself is quite good, though at some places they put items you wanted on the higher position so you would be hard pressed to grab the items you wanted. Sometimes there are classes too. The staff are friendly, but some are unenthusiastic in serving the customer.The store also lacks mobile apps that can store your receipts.
Its a home Depot. They have stuff. Its pretty nice I guess.
Somewhat disappointed. understaffed, phone calls ignored. Even heard one employee tell another not to answer the phone he was carrying because it Was coverage for another department. Checking out cashier was rude and when I mentioned that it was phone sale she stated you better hope theyre in the system...Otherwise your not getting phone sale. This location always seems well stocked. Ive tried curbside twice and both times it took an extremely long time to get service. I ended up going inside and picking up one of them to save a long wait. Their customer service needs some work as Ive found myself waiting for assistance several times on slow days. Last time I was in I asked two associates for help and both told me to wait but never came to help me unlock a large tool purchase...
Ive never had good luck with getting help at this store. last weekend i was talking about Milwaukee power tools, the lady had no interest in helping me. I couldnt get assistance so ended up not purchasing the kit.
Help young man in tools. Seems really cool and help me find snap pliers. Customer service is always busy but they will service you quickly. Lighting fixtures need a revamping. Seen the same items there for some time.
I just purchased a new stove and got a good deal. The sales clerk was awesome she took her time and explain everything to me.
Ordered a stove and they changed my delivery date three times. Short staffed and manufacturer issue. Stop selling appliances that you dont have stocked. Buyers beware. Its not fair to the consumers.

Shopping 4.5 star. Parking 1. Its first thing in morning. Upfront parking lot darn near full, yet noone in store other than employees. Guess that patrons have to yield to employees. Go figure.

I came for pressure treated 2x4x8 lumber... Somewhat decent selection... Wood was quite wet. Had to pick through to get what I needed. No cashier at all at the contractor section and had to walk all the way down to self check out.
Went to purchase door locks. Needed to have the locks rekeyed. A woman working at the desk allowed the man working with me to tell me to come back. Upon returning the same woman told the gentleman assisting me that the person needed was not working. To add gas to the fire she looked at the scheduled to say the person needed was away at lunch.Why HD dont have multiple people trained for this service!?!?
They werent very polite. They told me a product was not carried there then i found it later.
They had a 42 inch pry bar & electrical plug, great bunch of people.

One of the worst Home Depots in Charlotte. all lumber carts are used by the store to put their inventory on, I tried purchases lumber and plumbing pipes and ended up leaving all together because I looked in the whole store, and outside as well, and could not find a cart for lumber. I asked an associate for help and they said they are outside, and I told them I just looked, and there isnt, they then just said Idk then, and just went back to staring at the screen in front of them and ignoring me. Customer service here is terrible.
I got transferred multiple times to the wrong department, and once it arrived at another department, someone answered the phone and dropped the call - thats very unprofessional. I tried calling the frontdesk again - but it just kept ringing with no one answering the phone. Poor service, and poor management of this specific branch if you ask me. Hopefully, they begin to take these reviews seriously, and improve on their customer service.
What can I say?. Handsdown, Home Depot is the perfect place for me to find almost anything that I need for any kind of job. And if its not currently in stock, theyll check their other stores, or will order it for you if necessary. The stores are all extremely well-maintained and well-organized, well lit and have enough knowledgeable staff that finding anything is never a problem. Everything is handicap accessible, including the restrooms. And if youre a veteran, youre eligible for a 10% discount 365 days a year. I can honestly say, that in 25+ years of shopping at any/all Home Depots that Ive truly never had a bad experience at any single one of them. I just experienced a complete logistical failure with curbside pickup. Per the email from homedepot.com, my items were ready for curbside pickup at 3:44 PM ET. Upon arriving at the store that was determined to be a lie. After several trips around the parking lot and standing in 2x lines at customer service it was determined that my items were still on the pallet. At 7:15 pm ET I finally left this craptastic establishment with the items I paid for online. The entire point of curbside pickup is to limit human contact during a pandemic. The ineptitude of this establishment put myself and my family at an elevated risk of exposure to COVID19. I will be taking my temperature every hour for the next two weeks... if it goes above 99 degrees you will promptly be hearing from my attorney.
It was so empty and didnt have much of what we were looking for. However they did have a lot of flowers, plants etc
After standing at the counter for 15minutes an employee by the name of Zayd came over to us and asked if we were being helped. Zayd, then proceeded to give excellent customer service.

Wow - its been a while, but this used to be my favorite big box hardware store. Lots of employees wandering around but no one was interested in helping. Empty boxes blocking aisles, not stocking some basic electrical components, and not getting good answers made for a disappointing experience.

Went to purchase plants etc in garden center. The plants were wilted lack of water. The ferns were nasty with dead broken foliage. I work with indoor and outdoor plants for 30 yrs. How sad .
Just had a fantastic experience with Lindsay at Customer service while trying to purchase a large workbench. She went above and beyond trying to help us figure out how to get it home! We ended up choosing the delivery method. After we left the store Lindsay called to let us know the order processed out of a different store. Knowing my husband had taken pictures of the workbench, she assumed correctly that hed want the exact item we purchased. Lindsay called us to change the delivery date and ensure my husband received the product he wanted. Kudos.
Ms Jerrynell, was amazing. Had it not been for her by my side I dont know where Id be. (Probably in the wrong aisle) Amazing customer service, infectious spirit and outstanding energy. She is the Chick-fil-A of home improvement shopping!! Thank you Home Depot for your employee selections!
Like many people during this pandemic, Ive found myself reevaluating my space. Especially since Im spending so much time in it. My recent Home Depot trip was like any other at this location. Friendly, helpful staff and great service. I was able to get custom cut board to help with this cool storage/bench Ikea hack.

I would like to recognize this store for their helpful employees. I am a mother of 2 little ACTIVE girls under 6 years old so my store experience means a lot even if I’m in a hurry. A young man named “Sung” helped me and pointed me in the direction of another employee named “Horace”. Horace went above and beyond with helping me because he showed me what I needed and why it was important to have the item. I went to Lowe’s and Walmart before coming this HOME DEPOT. Thanks again MrHorace and thanks to “Sung” for pointing me in the direction of Mr. Horace. The adapter will work perfectly and allow me the choice of bulbs in the future. I gave 5 stars because I appreciate the help.

The university city Blvd location- The absolute worst curbside pick up I have experienced. Not once but TWICE I arrived, notified via the link I was here and nobody ever came to my vehicle. The first time I just left bc I had to go back to work and was refunded. The 2nd time I had to go in the store to get my merchandise. So you tell me what is the point of offering curbside service. Fool my once shame on you, fool me twice Lowe’s it is.

Came here this morning for a Easy bath updates workshop. The workshop was scheduled for 10 AM. I got to the store at around 10:05. I was told by the first rep that the workshop would be held in the plumbing section. I get to the plumbing section and speak to another rep. I ask her does she know where the workshop is being held. She then proceeds to tell me if they are having it and directs me back to customer service. I then go to the self check out and speak to another rep and she is helpful. She makes some calls, but still no communication on if there is a workshop or not. Some guy named Antonio is supposed to be having it. It is now 10:13 and I just leave. This was the most unorganized nonexistent workshop ever. I will not be coming to this store for another workshop again! To management, this is poor customer service and if for some reason it was cancelled it should have been communicated.
